Consequent upon the merger of regional stations to form the NTA in 1977, it became necessary for the organization to streamline training and make it more regular in order to cope with the training needs of the rapidly growing organization; hence the establishment of the Television College in September 1980.

Since then the College has grown to serve not only the mother organization-the NTA, but also state and private television stations, media units of federal and state agencies, as well as individuals who wish to acquire skills in different areas of television broadcasting. Today there is no television station that has not had its staff trained at the College.

The NTA Television College since its inception has served as Center of Excellence in the provision of professional and specialized training in the core areas of television: i.e. Broadcast Journalism, Production, Design and Engineering. It commenced its operations with short-term proficiency courses in all the core areas of television broadcasting. PLS BE TOLD THAT OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY ,ILE-IFE HAS STARTED SELLING ITS 2009/2010 POST-UME FORM.THE REGISTRATON STARTED IN JUNE 3RD,2009 AND IT IS GOING TO END 12 MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY 28TH JUNE,2009.THE EXAM WILL HOLD 4TH JULY 2009@ 1PM IN VARIOUS CENTRES .ALL APPLICANTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE SEATED BY 12NOON.

ALSO,REGISTRATION FOR OAU PRE-DEGREE HAS BEGUN.DATE OF ENTRANCE EXAM IS SATURDAY,AUGUST 29,2009.EXAMINATION CENTRES INCLUDE ILE-IFE,MORO,IPETUMODU,LAGOS AND ABUJA.

Everything is now settled as regards 2009/2010 Unilag post-ume test.i want to enjoin every applicant to study hard because the exam is surely to test your suitability for your proposed course.I am of the opinion that if you could get up to 200 in your JAMB without any assistance or 'runs' during exam,with little effort on your side,you are sure of brilliant score in the test.Just get a copy of the Unilag PAST QUESTIONS,study it religiously and you will find out that Unilag does repeat its POST-UME QUESTIONS.If you are in need of POST-UME QUESTIONS,I may be of help.You may reach me through 08056230620.GOOD luck in your exam.
