Ournolly: That's nice. Awaiting the reviews. Will require it too and I did check one of the subscribers in the town. His 25mps plan was getting average of 15mps in the day, he confirm it is close to the 25mps at the off peak period. Latency at steady 120mps means a bad news for game. Vsat is always noted for it's poor latency performance. Yeah, they did say it would be a bad idea for gaming but I don’t game so I’m cool |

stanliwise: You have done well with your update. And how is the speed? The quoted speed is 25Mbps and it’s as said I was in a class for 4 hours yesterday and it didn’t buffer and I also replay my last week classes cos the mtn network I was using couldn’t allow me stay through The speed is good enough for me really |

Ournolly: Na wa oooo. This is not a good sign at all. Telecommunication networks need active customer care channel for resolution of numerous issues and challenges. I made inquiry someone said he'll do the installation plus the equipment at 90k. This is tad expensive for my budget. Yes it’s a bit expensive but that’s how they all are expensive to fix But I think the monthly fee is cheaper and starts from 6k or so with free night browsing option What do u mean someone will come instal it for you? Speak to the company.. chances are you’ll fix it way cheaper.. highly depends on your location… I stay at the outskirts of Benin so I understand why it’s a bit high for me |

I don’t use much but I recently enrolled for a course online and I needed a stable connection… the telecom network is poor here But then they also have free data for nights like you can literally browse for free at night |

UPDATE
Yesterday around 7pm, the engineer still came around.. apparently he was stuck in traffic and he said he wanted to make sure I have the data that night.
He was a top professional and also engaging my curiosity. He came from port harcourt to fix for some customers in Benin. I’m guessing they had no engineers, and I think the 3 of us live at extreme ends of each other so it was stressful for him.
Anyway, he couldn’t finish it yesterday (part of climbing the roof to fix the modem and all that) so we decided to do it this morning.
He came very early and within 20 mins he was done.. he even helped me fix my generator because we had no light to test the installation to make sure it was working properly before he left
I just got back from work and yes it’s working good so far..
I will try and review again by month end or anytime I can… but so far so good

vnnoli: Hello sir, Thank you for keen interest in Konnect Africa. Could you please send your details to the below email address? anwanganga@coollink.ng Hope to hear from you soonest. One thing I can boast about konnect Africa is the poor customer service.. I’m yet to get delivery of the equipments… I hope it’s not as poor as the customer service I’ve been exposed to |
Technology Market › Re: Any Reviews For Konnect Africa by Elderniercri(op): 6:42pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
So about this konnect Africa, I’m yet to have any reviews about the network but I’ll just drop this about their customer service.
They’re very poor in this regard, you could send them a mail and would probably have to send a follow up before they respond. Of course they’ll apologize only to do it again.
The agreement 6-14 days after payment had been confirmed before they come for installation, tomorrow makes it 14 days and if I hadn’t even be calling, there wasn’t even any movement all calls on their part that they’ll fix so and so for installation.
I complained bitterly to my account manager (they’ll assign an account manager for you when the payment is confirmed)
Around 2, someone called that he was from coolinks and he was coming to fix it today. I told him I was available… I was at work and you can’t just expect me to be at home when I’ve complained about giving me a time so I can stay back home.
Anyway we worked something out and he said he’ll fix someone’s before coming around to fix mine… we were in communication till 5 when I got home and he said he was stuck in holdup.
Fast forward to 6:40 now and I’ve called more than 4 times he isn’t picking my calls
Mind you, he came from port harcourt today to come fix this and he said he would be leaving tomorrow.
I’ll see if it would be fixed tomorrow since tomorrow is actually the last day (6-14 working days) ’ve decided to stay home because of them. I’m disappointed in their communication method sha
I just hope the network works fine and I’ll forget this stress and nonsense

Ournolly: $100/month for a guaranteed 150mps with unlimited bandwidth seems ok to me. They also confirmed you can connect as much as 100 WiFi to your router which means you can easily sublet to your neighbors and recover some money. It is also interesting to know that you get 40ms or even less with their services, this is very impressive for a satellite provider.
I seriously doubt they will launch in Nigeria this year, South Africa maybe but Nigeria, I doubt. Well let’s hope they do and if they do, I’d be switching |

Ournolly: OK A bit on the high side, let's hope it's worth it. Wish Elon has launched his StarLink in Nigeria as promised but from their pace they won't even be available this year. I think it’s consistent with others sha And I honestly tried to research on starlink just saw they’re working on launching in Nigeria soon but it’s subscription is more expensive when I checked the countries it already operates in |

Ournolly: Please do. Also, how much did you pay for their equipments and the installation? I paid 7900 for equipment and installation plus one month subscription. And I had to buy a router they recommended.. They wanted to sell it for me for around 45k but I got it outside for 15k That’s about 100k totally spent, they would come fix it on or before Friday to fix it |

He addiction ( according to reports then ) was as a result of her baby daddy whom she loved so much but got dumped by him.
Who wouldnt like Brenda? She was a great artist..
I knew whitney in my sec school days. I think Brenda died before her or so.
Whitney's daughter too died of the same drugs. Don't know what has become of her adopted son now. This life though. I actually followed her too, she was the headline act when Abuja National Stadium was opened in 2003… she radiates this energy… one of the golden age of South African music industry |

jimyjames: A referendum was given to the Midwesterners to vote themselves out of the yoruba dominated western region, if itsekiri wanted to be in western region they could have voted to remain there,
Nnamdi Azikiwa was not the regional prime minister of Midwest Region he was the prime minister of only eastern Region, so where did he get the power and which Constitutional backing did Zik use to achieve what you accuse him of doing?
Plus awolowo was set free from calabar prison by ojukwu not Gowon , plus awolowo was just a minister of finance, nothing like president added to that position By 1959/60 Nnamdi Azikiwe was already the Governor General of Nigeria so it’s likely he was in the federal government…. His role was largely ceremonial sha so I don’t think he even had the power to dethrone anybody. Or in a military rule, a civilian would have the power to enthrone anybody |
Politics › Re: How Azikwe Dethroned The Grandfather Of The Current Olu Of Warri? by Elderniercri(m): 5:48am On Aug 29, 2021 |
cocolacec: *How Azikiwe, an Ibo, deposed the grandfather of the new Olu Erejuwa III, who was re-instated by Awolowo, a Yoruba:*
The newly crowned Olu of Warri, Ogiame Erejuwa III, reversed the curse of his grandfather, the Ogiame Erejuwa II.
In 1963, Ogiame Erejuwa II, had taken the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Mid-West Government to court over the inclusion of Itsekiri in the newly created Mid-West region.
Ogiame Erejuwa II told the court that the Itsekiri Kingdom is part of the Yoruba nation and should have remained as part of the Western region and not included in the Mid-West region.
He argued emphatically that the Itsekiri people would like to be a part of the Western region and backed the Action Group led by Awolowo and rejected the NCNC led by Nnamdi Azikiwe who controlled the Mid-West.
Angrily, NCNC leader Nnamdi Azikiwe deposed Ogiame Erejuwa II and deported him to Ogbesse. The king then put a curse on all the Itsekiri who supported Ibo to bring the Itsekiri kingdom into disrepute. Okotie Eboh, an Itsekiri who supported the Ibo to depose the Itsekiri King would later be assassinated by the Ibo soldiers involved in the January 1966 military coup.
In 1966, Awolowo was set free by Yakubu Gowon and named the Federal Minister of Finance and the de facto Vice President of Nigeria. The first thing he did was to reinstate Ogiame Erejuwa II as the Olu of Warri. But Ogiame Erejuwa did not revoke the curse. His grandson, Ogiame Erejuwa III, has just removed the curse on the Itsekiri people.
The Itsekiri Kingdom is one of the twenty-six Yoruba tribes.
Gbemisola Aduke, Director of Research and Development, Young Yoruba for Freedom (YYF). Did you listen to the Olu coronation speech? When whatever the issue was, he ran to Benin and met with Oba Akenzua II and they both placed the curse. It’s very unlikely that Oba Akenzua II will join Ogiame Erejuwa II to place a curse in Nigeria over a mid western state he actively participated in its actualization. I don’t know what happened (would research) but I’m damn sure it wasn’t issues surrounding midwest state |
