Mtn needs to improve its customer care, there should be at least one person with technical expertise in each care centre. Instead of practising trial and error, wasting time and money, then at the end, telling me to call 180

I'm unable to connect to the internet even though i have the correct settings and enough credit. I use a 128k sim, it just keeps trying to connect until it times out. My other mtn line works perfectly well on the same phone with the same settings. I suspect you guys blocked it cos it wasnt always like this. Kindly unblock it

Mr Jide, I had 112 naira on my phone on Thursday but was unable to make calls, the response I was getting was insufficient credit. I tried to check balance and got service timeout response. I bought a recharge card of 100 naira but couldn't load it. The response I received was service timeout. I kept trying till Friday afternoon when I received the response 'card has already been used by you' . I checked my balance and alas it was just 70 naira. I haven't made any calls or sent text so where's my 142 naira. Called customer care several times and all they keep telling me is my records have not been updated and to call back. I'm tired of calling, please rectify this issue.

Port = 9201 (for WAP) or 8080 (for HTML)
Username = web
Password = Web
Access Point Name (APN) = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Note: The same configuration applies to GPRS and 3.5G.

Thanks. I followed all the steps, downloaded droidvpn tunko and then rooted my phone and it works fine. But the only problem is the apn issue, only blackberry.net works sometimes when I change from get default apn. I've tried gmail.com bb.net Facebook.com Google.com and none of them works.
I need an apn that's reliable, my incessant changing of apn causes the droidvpn to hang while loading engine.
Which apn works for you guys?
