Hi Jide, I activated the BBCDAY yesterday night at about 9:13pm.. I've done the hard reset severally, done the diagnostic test, sent d registration message and I've even called customer care but, up till dis moment, nothing! This is not the first time it has happened and when it is time for it to expire, they'll send me a notification that it has expired.. This is so unfair, why is it that the network issue only affects d customers and not d network provider.. It's really giving us wrong impressions about MTN. They should try and fix this issue.. My num is 07030834005, kindly help me resolve my case... Thanks

Pls my good customer service agents, my line is a postpaid line, I paid up the debit balance on it and even subscribed for a 5gb data bundle yesterday. But until now the suspension on the line hasn't been lifted. Pls lift the suspension so that I can get back online. Pls and pls assist me as time is of the essence. Already my data plan has started running without use. Tanks.

Further to my query of 7th of October on this thread, l have received tremendous support and excellent customer care from the MTN staff in-charge of this forum especially JideSM. I am overwhelmed by the customer service and support, l never believed l can receive such from Nigeria talk the least of MTN. I honestly have a very different perception now and l am wowed at the care and energy put towards resolving this issue for me. I was advised to forget it by friends but through this forum my line has been restored and my credit replaced with extra. l am 100% very satisfied hence the inconvenience doesn't matter again.
Thank you so much MTN guys on this forum especially dear Peter. cheesy cheesy

I transferred a sum of #95 from my number 07066731324 55 to my second number 08035365356, lo and behold, 95 was taken from where I transferred it but was not delivered, the message of got from where I transferred it read thus: Sorry, the service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.
And immediately I transferred #55 from 08035365356 to 07066731324 and it was successful so I decided to transfer #50 back to 08035365356 but what I got as a reply was:
You cannot top-up 08035365356 because he has an open transaction.
All these transactions was carried out between 9pm and 10pm 11-10-13
So where is my #95?

I subscribed for The MTN BIS plan a couple of days ago, and it worked perfectly until yesterday morning, I haven't been able to use the blackberry service. The BB data services on icon appears, but I can't do anything requiring an internet connection. I subscribed for the BBCDAY on another line, and its working fine. Please look into this issue for me, I would highly appreciate it. Thank you.

Apologies. This depends on the device type. You may have to re-configure the device. Please text SETTINGS to 3888 or configure the phone manually using the settings information provided below:

Account Name = MTN GPRS
IP Address = 10.199.212.2
Port = 9201 (for WAP) or 8080 (for HTML)
Username = web
Password = web
Access Point Name (APN) = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Note: The same configuration applies to GPRS and 3.5G.

Jide, I sent data on to 131 yesterday evening and when i had like over 200 naira on my phone, i tried to browse, i only opened my yahoo mail with Google chrome, i checked my balance like 4 minutes after and alas, i saw 0.00. called customer care,d representative dat spoke wit me said she couldnt see my record dat i should call back later or dis morning. i called dis morning and was told the same tin, call record not showing isshh. mtn can not just zap off my credit just like that. How can u be of help? Thanks.
