Education10 Ways To Overcome Rejection by Elijahrona(op): 9:21am On Dec 27, 2016
Rejection is defined as not been accepted into an offer. Rejection in relationship, career, education and personal issues trigger sadness and you’ll feel nothing but always down. Since rejection always come, it’s essential that you learn how to deal with and ways of overcoming rejection.

Dealing with and overcoming rejection

Although been rejected would make your hurt, it is essential you don’t become stagnant and try to move on. Learn to apply the following steps brought to you by experience and research

Know it always comes

You should know that at a point of your life, you’ll certainly be rejected. No matter the number of your certificates, you may be rejected for a job. No matter how beautiful you are, you may still be rejected for a proposal.

This should’ve made you to anticipate

With the knowledge that rejection would come at a time, you should’ve anticipated before applying for anything. Make sure you’re qualified, make sure you’re ready

Keep hopeful

A door closes isn’t the end of the world is it? Never lose hope because hope is the driving force of motivation. Always have hope for a better tomorrow

Learn from the rejection

If ever you get rejected, done just be stagnant. Even if you’re all hopeless, learn why you were rejected and how you can come out better. This means you’re coming out strong

Know it’s a chance to evolve

Now this is certain if you studied why you were rejected. When you know the reason, you’ll correct it if it’s a flaw and you’ll be better. An example is a girl who has lots of certificate but used a wrong font for her CV. No matter how qualified, she’d be viewed as someone who’s not serious and may not be offered the job. When she learns her mistake and corrects the font, she’ll have less rooms to be rejected. Won’t her? See? Rejection is a chance to evolve.

Remove any negative feelings

Even if you learn from your rejection, you keep hope and apply every of the above points, rejection will hurt. Try as much as you can to remove any sad feelings. Truly, rejection hurts but it wouldn’t make sense not to move on

Don’t subject to self-pity

Self-pity is when you’re trying to solicit pity for yourself. You may start telling others how hurt you are mostly for them to feel sorry. You may start pointing fingers to others that they’re responsible for your failure. Please don’t subject yourself to self-pity

Know delay isn’t denial

Since you know that rejection would always come, it is essential that you also know that most successful people today were once rejected. Just keep been hopeful.

Know there’s something better

Maybe you were rejected because the route you took wasn’t right for you. Maybe it’s because there’s something better waiting for your. Remember that when a door closes, a better one may appear. Know that there’s a rainbow waiting for you when you pass through the better door.

Know it’s not new

If you’re still feeling sad, try to recall when you were once rejected and how you dealt with it. Try to review how people were rejected (same way you were rejected) and find how they dealt with it.

Watch your actions

Anticipate before you request. Tell other people ahead of you to review you if you’re fit to request for an offer. Been with matured people help a lot to overcoming rejection.

EducationEffects Of Procrastination. How To Avoid It by Elijahrona(op): 9:05am On Dec 26, 2016
Procrastination means looking for reasons and excuses to postpone an action you should do. It’s very bad. Many people procrastinate and they’ve felt the impact in various ways. Read this article to learn the effects of procrastination and how to avoid it

Effects of procrastination

Inability to complete tasks

You may have something important to do but because of laziness, you’ll snub and snub it until it’s no longer required. This’ll make you lose many things

Loss of time

Imagine the time you spent trying to snub what you snubbed. Suppose you did it all along, you’d have extra time to do other stuffs but hey, you wasted it all because of laziness

Inability to accomplish plans

When you have a goal and you’ve planned for it, procrastination makes it more difficult to achieve your goals because plan works hand in hand with time. By the time you shift time, remember you can’t shift the deadline of your plans. Therefore you may shift time out of the period required by your plan

Disqualified for opportunities

When opportunity meets requirements, success comes. What if you’re required to do something so that you may be qualified for an upcoming offer? By the time you procrastinate, you may lose that offer

Stagnation of various aspects of your life

By the time you find silly excuses to shift your tasks, this behavior would definitively affect various aspects of your life. Examples of such aspects are career, personal, education, etc.

Inferiority-complex

Inferiority complex comes when you don’t match up to the standard of others. Let’s say you have clothes to wash but you’ve been postponing and postponing it. What would you do when all your clean clothes are dirty? You’ll wear dirty ones. That'll give you low self-esteem esteem

How to avoid procrastination

Know it doesn’t knock

This is essential. You should know that anyone who doesn’t prepare before hand for procrastination, stands the chance of procrastinating. Why? No matter how strong, everyone has their weak spot.

Prepare for it

You can prepare beforehand against procrastination by

1. Knowing your weak spot
2. Making sure it won’t be your problem when you’ve got plans by satisfying it beforehand
3. Always being cautious

By the time you do these, you’ll definitely be prepared against procrastination

Know what’s waiting for you

What’s your goal? What do you want to achieve? By the time you know this, move on to the next step

Value what’s waiting for you

You should develop utmost value for your goals. This’ll give procrastination less room to come in. When you value what’s waiting for you at the other side, you’ll definitely cross the bridge

Anticipate before you act

Do this by knowing the challenges that’ll come. Anticipate by listening to your body and knowing whether it’s ready to accomplish a goal. When you do this, you’ll act only when the time comes.

Make and follow your priority list

A reason why people procrastinate is mixed up priorities. When people do something they shouldn’t be doing now (perhaps because they’ve got other stuffs to do), they’ll become lazy and procrastinate. However, if you follow your made priority list, achieving your goal wouldn’t be that difficult

Plan for personal breaks

Your body isn’t made of wood. You need rest. When you’re planning how to achieve your goal, make sure you place time you’ll use in resting. When you do this, there’ll be less room for laziness because you know there’s resting time

Procrastination is the enemy of both time and progress

PoliticsState Three Human Rights You Know by Elijahrona(op): 1:46pm On Dec 10, 2016
Today is world human rights day. State a minimum of three human rights you know. I go first:

1. Right to remain silent(learnt this in Nigerian movies)

2. Right to education

3. Right to freedom so long as you don't do illegal things

Learn importance of human rights here:

https://www.nairaland.com/3511331/today-human-rights-day
EducationToday Is Human Rights Day by Elijahrona(op): 11:26am On Dec 10, 2016
Human rights are laws with reasons protecting some activities by humans. These laws allow humans to do things or not to do things freely and by choice. There are rights like the right to be educated, the right to remain silent, etc. This post isn’t to count human rights to you. The purpose of this post is to encourage you to learn and know your rights.

When you know your rights

First and foremost; knowledge. When you know your right, you know it. Since no knowledge is wasted, you’ll surely use it one day

When you know your rights, you won’t be oppressed by anyone(individuals, companies, government, etc)

Even if you get oppressed, you’ll fight back because you know you’re been oppressed

Knowing your rights would give you motivation to take some certain actions and steps you previously wouldn’t because you’re now confident that what you’re about to do isn’t wrong.

Simply put; knowing your right would allow you to be able to do/not do things based on your will and also to accept/not accept external actions based on your will.

When you don’t know your human rights

The opposite

Just to save time, revert every point i stated above. Those would happen when you don’t know your right.

Oppression

You can only free someone from slavery when he’s/she’s aware that he/she is a slave. When you don’t know your rights, you may be oppressed by people and you wouldn’t even know. Even if you know you’re been oppressed by people, you wouldn’t have the motivation to fight them back cause you aren’t even sure why

Automatic patience/negative endurance

Endurance is a wonderful quality with outstanding attributes but not in this case. If you don’t know your human rights and you’re been oppressed by people , you’ll have no option than to wait till the people stop by themselves

Afraid of the government

Enough is enough. That’s what people say when angry. You may be unable to protest if the government don’t act in the favor of the mass . Who listens to peaceful protests?

Unable to reach full potentials

People need a confident environment in order to express themselves fully. If you aren’t able to fully express yourself, you won’t be able to act to your full potentials. Ignorance of your right would make you unable to act like you could.

Low self-esteem

What if you’re with people who know their rights but you don’t? Wouldn’t you wait for them to dictate actions(in certain issues) for you first before you’ll have confidence to do it? Everyone in life have areas when they know more and are better but that shouldn’t make you wait for people to tell you what to do before you do it. Ignorance of your right would make you unable to speak where others are speaking.

Christianity EtcGoverning Body Of Jehovah's Witnesses Warns Against Ponzi Schemes by Elijahrona(op): 6:44pm On Dec 09, 2016
Gb stands for governing body. These men are the anointed leaders of Jehovah's witnesses worldwide.

They sent a letter.. Not just to Nigerian congregations but to congregations worldwide.

I attended our weekly meetings today and a letter warning against any ponzi schemes was read.

Can't say everything in it sha but the details were:
1. Trust God for all your financial needs

2. If you're not sure whether the scheme would crash or not, don't introduce it to your brothers

3. Never be driven by the love of money

4. Satan is looking for ways to drive Christians into his court. Try to be vigilant

At the end of the letter, Hebrew 13: 5 and 6 was read.

Thank God i didn't go mmm or anyone

lot of girls dont like this, telling others means chasing away prospective suitors. you know girls always want to keep their option open, especially when they feel you aren't the one.
