vonxe: The unfortunate thing is that where your time froze is where your answers end. Let me share my experience
There were two parts for senior facilities engineer skill test of 90mins each I was in the first part where I did section 1 and on section 2 with 55mins remaining when my time froze. I managed to finish the remaining sections and submitted part A. I moved to Part B with only one section and my screen went blank. I used the refresh button at the top, to my surprise i had start from ID verification, voice and environment video verification after which I was instructed to continue from where I stopped which was section 2 of part A where my time froze. Haba!!! Me wey don finish and submitted part A before. Then I knew when time freezes your answers are not being recorded. I was on the last section of part A when my time froze again, I pressed the refresh again and again but refresh no gree refresh I had to finish it, submitted and finished part B but submission was just rolling like rolling dollar. I closed the page cos I know my answers were not recorded due to time freezing.
I suggest everybody involved should write to dragnet because it may be a foul play on dragnet to allow some people move on. It looks absurd but this is Nigeria Did you eventually hear from them? CC: Web4life, Vanessaprince |

Sensiblewizard: Good afternoon everyone.
So guys, the below is the report of how the NNPC interview goes.
*Stage 1: Arrival:* As early as 7am, crowd are already seated inside with some equally standing. You will need to hold your interview invitation on your hand before you can gain entrance into the building.
Once in the building, you will be given a consent form to sign, granting NNPC, throughout the interview process, the permission to access your academic/professional information from your schools and work area so as to confirm it tallies with you submitted.
*Stage 2: Verification:*
You will proceed to do credential verification with your Birth Certificate, NYSC, WAEC, and Degree certificates. For your date of birth, they are just interested in your Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, and has no interest in whatever dob any of academic certificates bears.
Once you have been verified, you would be tied a wristband which contains your interview details. Here they will separate Sciences, Management Sciences, Engineering, Arts, Law, etc, and your wristband will bear your field of study, e.g. GT/Sci/01 (GT = graduate trainee; Sci = Science; 01 = your interview panel number. Both your wristband and interview invitation would be signed accordingly. Please ensure your invitation is signed o as you will need it throughout the interview process. After this, you will be taken to the Amphitheatre hall upstairs.
*Stage: 3 Amphitheatre Hall*
In the hall, you would be addressed on the program of the day. Your application number will be called so you can go with an usher to your interview panel room.
There is also "energy room" at the outside where you can go and eat light refreshments like coffee, tea, biscuits, snacks, and soft drink.
Please pay attention to when your application number would be called so you can go with your panel team.
*Stage 4: Interview:*
This is the main deal.
You would bombarded with questions MOSTLY RELATED to your COURSE OF STUDY. They will also ask you to elaborate on how you think your qualification matches with NNPC vision of being the Global number one.
Please, this is where you REALLY need to tell them why you think you are perfect for NNPC based on your course of study. Ensure you sell yourself well here. For this, you need to really understand your course of study well, and also understand NNPC's various subsidiaries as you need to link both. If your course of study has some terminologies, try using them while explaining your answers, this will give your answers some kind of technical depths and give you an upper hand. But ensure whatever terminologies you are using are all correct. They can Google anything there.
You'd be asked the typical "Introduce yourself to us". Just walk them through your name, qualification, work experience but I wont advise you to go deep into your work experience as you don't have much time. Be moderate in your answer here, not that you wont say anything o....just don't over stress it. You might also want to include the skills you learned from your work experience.
You might be asked some other question depending on the flow of the conversation, like any certification you included during application.
Like I mentioned before on this group, try as much as possible best to ensure all your answers have substance, even the ones outside your field of study. Also research one or two about oil and gas. They could ask you about renewable energy.
*Stage 5: Exit:* When you are done with your interview, you go downstairs, following the " Exit" signs. You can also ask the security men. You will go to where you will be given your "subsidy allowance" of 100k upon submission of your wristband and interview invitation.
From there, omor na _hasta la vista_
Questions I was asked: 1. Introduce yourself to us. 2. What skills did your experience teach you. 3. How does your academic qualification match with NNPC's vision. 4. Renewable and non-renewable energy 5. Safety and environmental hazards (based on my HSE certification)
NB:
Questions differ. This is just for my field of study.
A Finance student told me they nearly killed him with questions on Investments.
So overall, know your course, know where you can fit in best in the NNPC, and know very very well how to link them together.
Thank you.
#COPIED For those who are yet to do theirs, the guy above gave a perfect summary of everything that happened. Although I wrote for EH, not GT. The questions aren't easy anymore though , and nobody can predict what you'll be asked. Almost everyone i interacted with said they asked different questions for each applicant. For some, it was from their CVS, for others , it was about NNPC operations, while for others, they were asked questions that weren't related to their course of study...but somehow relevant to the oil and gas sector. I guess it's getting harder as the interview sessions progress. At this point, it's impossible to even predict what your Panelists would ask you. They stick to time, so its best to come early and with all your required documents. Unlike people that did theirs earlier, the atmosphere is extremely tensed this week , so try as much as possible to relax...if you can. Good luck to everyone. |

Helloworld123: These are some of my observations regarding this ongoing exercise.
1. The number of people invited range between 10,000 to 15,000. It's massive.
2. People on Whatsapp groups think this exercise is a team work. They go back sharing their questions on those groups, literarily handing over their advantage to strangers for validation. Not sure why - maybe to be seen as nice people or because they feel they have done too well in the interview and their own fate is sealed already. This will backfire in a manner many of them would not imagine possible. The competition is crazy and the odds are very low. This is the first thing you will be told at the interview.
3. Everyone's date has an advantage and disadvantage. Those whose dates fell in this past week are at an advantage because they can set the standards for others. The disadvantage, however, is that if their questions leak, those coming afterwards would be better prepared.
For those whose interviews are at a later time, they have the advantage of getting leaked questions that put them at an advantage. The downside is that the panelist have seen it all by that time. They subconsciously compare them to those who have wow them in the past. It becomes harder at those points. I beg to disagree with you. First of all, not up to 10,000 people were invited. It's probably about half of that number. However, remember that this is the first major recruitment since NNPC was privatized, and they are recruiting for all their subsidiaries. They intend hiring many people. Now, the essence of these Whatsapp groups is to share knowledge and tips. Nobody knows it all. If you go through the last 2019 recruitment topic on Nairaland, it has over 1000 pages. People shared ideas on how to scale through. They gladly did this and still got the job. This year, this topic is still on the 20th page. The Experience Hire topic is just on its first page after several months. It is not good at all. Besides, how can a Petroleum Engineer be scared that an Accountant will take his role? How would a lawyer be afraid that if shares his interview experience, an IT guy will snatch his job from him? There are also many other considerations that the interviewers look out for...Dressing, Eloquence, Confidence, Experience on the job etc. Lastly, there are chances that the people who conducted the interview last week, won't be the same Panelists that will do it this week too. Everybody will be rated without bias. Don't discourage people from sharing tips. Everybody's race is different. |

Jenobi: I did mine at Nasarawa State. I applied for the experienced legal position but when I logged in, to start the exam with the passcode allocated to me, I saw that the heading of my exam was boldly written "Information Technology". Questions were on ICT, HSE and engineering. Was wondering why they should prepare those type of questions for a lawyer. Only to be informed by the invigilators after I complained that the questions originally meant for me might have been mistakenly swapped with that of an engineering/ICT experienced candidate. Omo, I confuse ooo. I was also told that some centers experienced a similar issue. They said they have escalated the matter and hope to get a review. I am really sceptical about getting any favourable response from them. Please Who else experience a similar issue? I can imagine how frustrating this must have been. Since they acknowledged their error, I'm hopeful that they will review the matter. |

The most painful part is that these loans are not even taken for the betterment of the citizens. They will never be used to build roads, schools, refineries, or anything beneficial.
Rather, the money will be shared among themselves to buy luxury vehicles and private jets, while the masses suffer in hunger and starvation. Then, these same citizens will be heavily taxed to pay off loans that did not benefit them at all.

Why does he continue to remain unsympathetic to the sufferings of Nigerians? How can one be so blinded that he doesn't care if people starve to death because of his policies?
