Abia state and Rivers State are literally neighbours. It takes only slightly above 30 mins to travel from Aba to Port-Harcourt, and it is a straight road.
In practical terms, the time you will spend from Ikorodu to Ajah, someone has gone from Port-Harcourt to Aba and then back to Port-Harcourt.
I know people who live in Abia State and work in Rivers State.

If you say that Lagos is no longer safe, they will threaten to pursue you to your state.

Ironically, many of these people do not even originate from Lagos.

We’ve seen it several times. Even traditional rulers have issued chilling threats, warning that those who don’t vote “correctly” could be cast into the Lagoon.

We’ve watched homes and businesses belonging to Igbos demolished, accompanied by intimidation and calls for them to leave. Sadly, they always have lots of supporters on Twitter and even here on Nairaland, encouraging these barbaric acts against their own fellow countrymen.
