I don't understand why NNPC will post people outside their preferred CBT locations.

Considering the high cost of transportation, I think this is an avenue to reduce the number of candidates .

Marketers are not happy that they have to buy NNPC's product from Dangote. They want to be able to contract with Dangote independently.

The post literally said this : “We are asking Dangote to sell to us at the same price as NNPC. We don’t understand why he has to depend solely on NNPC to distribute its product when he has other willing buyers"

The most painful part is that these loans are not even taken for the betterment of the citizens. They will never be used to build roads, schools, refineries, or anything beneficial.

Rather, the money will be shared among themselves to buy luxury vehicles and private jets, while the masses suffer in hunger and starvation.

Then, these same citizens will be heavily taxed to pay off loans that did not benefit them at all.

Before now, I used to think that the President didn't have people telling him the truth. But that argument can no longer work.

The President watches TV and reads newspapers.

He has unlimited access to the internet. He can simply use his phone to go online and see what people are talking about him.

Why does he continue to remain unsympathetic to the sufferings of Nigerians? How can one be so blinded that he doesn't care if people starve to death because of his policies?

How does he sleep at night, knowing that he is the cause of at least 100 deaths per day?

What does it take to show a little mercy to your own people?

It started with Buhari, and it seems thatTinubu came to continue from where Buhari stopped. From the first day of his inauguration, he removed subsidy and tripled fuel prices, without even thinking of the damage it would have on the economy. Anybody that complained will suddenly become an Ipob member or an Obidient. That's their normal way of politicizing everything.
Till now, no refinery is working. Inflation is increasing daily, yet the politicians are living large in their quarters. To make matters worse, they decided to change the national anthem as if to insult all Nigerians. APC is a disaster.
I only pray that Tinubu takes his time to listen, because one day, the youths will burn down this country.

As much as I have never liked this Government, I totally agree with you.
If not anything, Tinubu has shown that he listens. I pray he chases all those blood-sucking advisers and praise singers around him, who were trying to politicize and ethnicize the protests.
If they had been truthful to him from the beginning, instead of blaming everything on political opponents, these policies would have been implemented long ago.
The next thing he needs to do is to reduce the price of fuel, even if its by 200naira. He would get back the love of Nigerians.

The South East didn't champion any protest. If I recall, the South Easterners said the people who voted for this government should be the ones to protest against it, because they weren't expecting anything positive from the APC Fed Govt.

Asides the planned protests, people are complaining of hunger and poverty. To make matters worse, DSTV and GoTV keep on increasing their prices every month. Who in their rightful minds will subscribe every month because of BBN?

All Arik flights across Nigeria were suddenly grounded without thinking of the repercussions it will have on people who had booked their flights in advance. Hundreds of people are suddenly stranded at various airports. Who will bear the costs of these flight disruptions?

If we are being honest, the outcome was a disaster. All the noise and no real change, just a bunch of empty promises. Why are we celebrating a failed movement?

The outcome wasn't a disaster. First of all, the youths finally got the attention of President Buhari, who had been taken them for granted for too long. Remember when he went on an international platform and described Nigerian youths as lazy? Buhari had to quickly do a press conference and address the youths for the first time in his government.
Secondly, SARS was officially disbanded. The dreaded unit which had taken so many lives was finally put to an end. Since 2020, police brutality has drastically reduced. We hope it stays that way.
Thirdly, Nigerian politicians realized that the youths weren't going to tolerate the bullshit they had been dishing out for decades. The protests made them realize that if these youths were to come together, they could overthrow their government.

The End Sars protests were mostly geared towards the Police, not hunger and super inflation, and imagine how massive it was.
Now, same youths are mobilizing again...but this time around, for bad governance. This is not the time to play politics and blame games. The hunger and suffering is real. People close to the President should really advice him to take it easy on the masses.

There is a possibility that the protests may eventually be thwarted, but I strongly believe that this is just the beginning. All it takes is a little spark someday, and the whole country would ignite. When it happens, it wouldn't even be pre-planned.

This Government needs to do better. It is a very very very bad record that barely a year into its administration, there is so much poverty in the land.

The youths won't take back anything. Tribalism is now so deep rooted among the youths that everything is seen from an ethnic or religious lens.
If you wake up and criticize the Government, you'll be tagged either an Obidient, IPOB, or anti-Islam person. Even if you are from the same state with the President, never voted for LP and youré a Muslim. It doesn't matter with them. Your fellow youths will sell propaganda and gang up against you to submission.
