nairalanders, I have been down and crying since morning as my little sister whom I am a legal guardian to got her visa refused. The little girl is down. When I got a no straight forward email for her, I thought she will later get the visa and hence travel with my son so as to meet up with school deadline.. this morning I got a refusal letter for her. please help advise if you can, should I do administrative review? if yes, what are the steps. Already called my lawyer as asked why the legal papers couldn't be verified? as far as I know, everything is genuine, had several court sittings before guardianship was given. please advise as I am loosing it.. Also since I have traveled, how do I proceed with the AR in respect of taking her passport back if they eventually grant the visa? my whole world is crashing. please find attached reasons for refusal.
reason I didn't mention her in my previous applications were because I hadn't applied for legal guardianship for her. a big mistake I made���

This is strange, is it the bank that did not reply or what? which financial institution did you use?

You apply for AR to argue against the reason(s) for the refusal, that is what you should focus on and NOT if they contacted the bank or not.

If they refused you because of fake bank statement then you can appeal that decision if you believed 100% that the bank statement is genuine

Pls when did they interview you and when did you do ur biometrics? Biometric was on 23rd August got non straight forward email last week Thursday, next day ukvi verified POF. done paid email, up till now no call, application still at dmc.

It is well ooo. The person that responded to my own call told me today is bank holiday so they will not take decision on any application today.

Please I got my CAS yesterday from Sheffield Hallam but I noticed that my Bsc certificate had 2020/1 academic year as my year of graduation instead of the correct date of 2015/16. Aside this, every other information in the CAS is correct.

Is this something I should be worried about?and contact the school for correction? or I should go ahead and apply for visa with it that way. Urgent plz. Thanks

My husband and I submitted our application on the 29th of July (Standard), till Yesterday we didn't hear anything, Yesterday was the 15th working day or 16th sef if we can count biometrics day as part of it. We called them this midnight and the call Operator said decision was made Yesterday. I am curious, why did it take a full 15/16 days to make decision for a standard application when we didn't even receive a non-straightforward mail. It is so frustrating. I'm also really worried, has anyone experienced this before?
