Hello VO,
I submitted my passport alongside the tax documents required to process my case on the same day I had my DNA sample collected. I didn't know at that time, that I was meant to wait for a response from the consulate before I drop my passport. But the officer at the drop off center looked at the automatically checked box for international passport on the document collection paper and told me to drop my passport as well, so I did.
So here is where my worries became heightened. I checked on CAEC and my status which was updated 23 February says "Issued (your visa has been printed... )". But when I tried to track my passport on ustraveldocs, it says "there is no status update available for the passport no you submitted".
In addition, I haven't heard a word from the consulate ever since I was scheduled for DNA sample collection, no email, phone call, nothing. I know I should mail them to get a status update, but I've been told it further delays the process and I dont want that.
So please, any bit of information I can kindly get from you to alleviate my worries will be immensely appreciated.

For dos that have checked their call up letter through hacker link, is d call up number on dat call up letter same with the one nysc sent through sms today?

mine remained the same in the green card, CUL and the message however, a lot of people had theirs changed in the text message they got which tallied with that on the CUL but different from the one on the green card

all this na lie...there is nothing like sms of call up number frm nysc...jst confirm it frm B15 and none of dem receive any sms frm nysc regarding call up number..so stop confusing and complicating issues

it's true.. I got my call-up no immediately I registered and also got a text containing my call-up no two days later from nysc too

Hello VO, my mum filled an immigrant visa for me. My interview was 21st of October. I was asked by the consular officer to drop my mum's 2012 and 2013 tax returns at drop off center because they only have that of 2014 and also do DNA testing. My questions are:
1. should the tax returns papers be original or can a scanned copy be dropped off?
2. what information does my mum need for the DNA testing because she has already booked an appointment and they asked her to fax "the information" and now she's asking me for "the information". The only information i have is the address of Us consulate office and my current contact information. Is this what they are asking for?
3. Why was i asked to do all these?
