If poll numbers are to be believed, Trump could be on his way out of the White House. According to a new Fox News Poll released Sunday morning, Democratic Party candidate, Joe Biden is leading the president by 10 percentage points. In the national poll, Biden earned 49 per cent support from registered voters compared to Trump’s 39 per cent. In the run up to next year's elections, several Democratic heavyweights are lining up to take on Trump and five of them polled higher than the president. A post allegedly shared on a Facebook group by a "yahoo boy" is trending on social media. In a viral screenshot of the post, the Yahoo boy, named Charly Kay, said he wanted to dupe a Caucasian woman but he ended up falling in love with her. He said friends warned him not to get emotional with his "client" but he couldn't help it. They allegedly got married eventually after she came to Nigeria with her people and paid his groom price. An angry girlfriend has blasted her boyfriend online after he took to Facebook to claim he's single and is in need of a room to rent. He posted in the Adelaide Rental Property Facebook page on Monday in an effort to find a room. 'Looking for a room in northern suburbs. I work full time, and have great references. I'm single and I'm drug/alcohol free. Willing to pay up to 200 a week (bills included),' he wrote. Few minutes later, his angry girlfriend discovered his post and slammed him for going online to look for a new room and also lying that he was single. She wrote: Ummm what the actual f*** babe?! Since when were u single and needing somewhere to live huh…,' she began. 'What a great boyfriend you are…Just remind me again who the selfish one is..cos it seems that its you not me. The governor, who stated this during an interactive session with UNICEF Youth Advocacy in Government House, said his administration and that of the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II have concluded plans to send a bill to the state House of Assembly to that effect. According to him, the bill will ensure that primary and secondary education will be free and compulsory for all school-age children in the state, adding that, “with the bill signed into law, parents who refused to take their children to go to school will be taken to court. “Children begging on the street instead of going to school will be arrested and their parents arrested and charge to court for prosecution because begging is not our religion. Begging is not Islam. Those children who are begging will be arrested and their parents will be taken to court for allowing their children to be begging instead of attending school.” Ganduje said his administration has ensured that over 30, 000 primary and secondary school teachers get qualified certificates, adding that as it stands, Kano has less than three percent, unqualified teachers, “and we are ensuring that they go back to school for their qualified certificate.” He added, “We hope you as development partners when we are being accused by mischievous people; we want you to come forward and defend us. Anything we do for the development of education, if we receive undue criticism, I urge you to demonstrate and we will give you protection. That is the only way we can get a change. Otherwise, all that we are doing will remain theoretical.” “I wish what is happening now happened 20 years ago. It would have been a different story by now. Kano state is the most populous state in the federation. We want our population to be a quality population. There are some countries in the world that don’t have a drop of oil, but yet their economy is strong. The main reason is education, even development, and technology. “So, we being the most populous state in the world, we want our population to be an asset. This was disclosed in a statement issued by Segun Ajiboye, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Monday. The affected individuals are Solagbade Amodeni, Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development; Taofiq Abdusalam, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure; and Ismaila Olurimisi., Commissioner for Culture. Governor Akeredolu announced the dismissal of the three cabinet members at the end of the state Executive Council Meeting held at Government House, Akure, on Monday, the statement noted. The statement partly read: “As part of the efforts being made to reposition his cabinet for optimum performance, aimed at ensuring that the administration delivers on its mandate to the people, the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, has rejigged his cabinet. Three commissioners were relieved of their duties. They are: Solagbade Amodeni of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Taofiq Abdusalam of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructures and Alhaji Ismaila Olurimisi of the Ministry of Culture.” The governor thanked the trio for the service to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours. He also directed them to hand over all government properties in their possession to the permanent secretaries of their ministries. The statement also announced that Governor Akeredolu has nominated five persons to serve as commissioners. “The governor has therefore nominated the following for the position of commissioners Yetunde Adeyanju, Titilayo Adeyemi, Temitayo Oluwatuyi, Fatai Olotu and Akindotun Olubunmi Owanikin “The names of the nominees will be forwarded to the state house of assembly for confirmation”. The governor also named Babatunde Kolawole and Oyebo Aladetan as special advisers. The dismissal comes amidst reports that some members of the cabinet are purportedly angry with the governor over his failure to provide extra benefits to cabinet members, and are allegedly against a potential second term for him. President Muhammadu Buhari has charged federal security agencies and states in the north-west to immediately begin implementation of the long term strategic defense plan to tackle armed banditry. The development was made public in a statement released by presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, on Sunday night, June 16, Daily Trust reports. The president is working with state governors in the north-west to tackle armed banditry; and the charge comes on the heels of the recent killing of 34 persons in an attack on Tungar Kafau and Gidan Wawa communities in Shinkafi local government, Zamfara state. According to Shehu, under the plan, the federal government will be joined by states in providing logistical support for the operations of the security agencies. He said: “The federal government is establishing new forward operation bases and when all of these come together, the ongoing operations will be scaled up.” Shehu said operations of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the various state Emergency Management Agencies, are expected to be streamlined, in order to provide succor to displaced persons, thousands of whom are taking refuge in the neighboring Niger Republic. He said: “The full implementation of the plan is expected to provide security for residents to return to deserted communities.” The president gave the assurance that he is fully aware of his government’s responsibility to protect citizens’ lives and properties, and that he won’t fail. The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) on Friday submitted its findings and recommendations on the 2019 general elections to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). EU Chief Observer, Maria Arena, while submitting the report to INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu in Abuja, said that the union would on Saturday make public the report of its monitoring of the elections. Arena who did not disclose the content of the report, said that the submission would be made open to journalists and members of the public to seek clarifications on the issues raised in the report. The EU chief observer said that the union had been part of Nigeria’s electoral process since 1999. The union deployed 73 observers to 223 polling units and 81 collation centres in 22 states for the 2019 general elections. The Oyo State Police Command have arrested two suspected fraudsters, Taiwo Salami (39) and Kamorudeen Amusat (63), who hypnotised a sales girl and collected the N1.4 million her boss sent her to deposit in a bank. They raped her multiple times after hypnotizing her and then collected the money found on her. Parading the suspects before newsmen yesterday Thursday June 13th, the state Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu, said the victim (names withheld), was sent by her boss on May 6th at about 11:30 a.m. to deposit N1.4 million at a bank in Dugbe area of the city. “On her way, she was accosted by one of the suspects, Taiwo Salami, who hypnotised her, and having lost her senses, she was taken to an abandoned house at Inalende area of the city, where the cash was collected from her, while the suspects also inflicted several injuries on her. On May 8th, the victim’s family members reported her disappearance at the divisional police headquarters at Mokola. She was later rescued and taken to the hospital for medical attention. “The case was then transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, and on June 7th, following a tip-off, the suspects were arrested around Eleyele, and upon interrogation, they confessed to the crime,” Olukolu said. One of the suspects, Salami, said when he saw the victim, he sensed she had money and that was how he approached her and hyponotised her. “She then followed me to Inalende area, where she was kept in a room in an abandoned building and the money collected from her.” The police commissioner said the suspects would be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation into their crime. We are recruiting from Nigeria hence the vacancy was posted in this forum. 400 USD = 140,000 Naira which is not that bad to earn monthly. You wanna earn 4k USD monthly working in Nigeria?
