billygreg: It’s clear APL will soon drop. Last week, a certain top politician from my community asked for names of successful interview applicants so as to be forwarded to the GMD. If court case was holding apl, i believe Oga wouldn’t have done that. Let’s stay focused and hope notifications are sent out soon. Peace! Yeah, forwarded from that community whatsapp group. |

LOL. 'if and only if' What happened to Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Structural, Offshore Engineering, CAE, Geotechnical Engrng, Dredging, Computational Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics etc. Drilling Engineering is even more of a reach than the course options I mentioned. datascience: I understand your plight and trust me it's so unfair. God strengthen you brother.
However, this is for Civil Engineers to note that your course is relevant to oil and gas if and only if you focus on DRILLING ENGINEERING with respect to CEMENTING. This is will assist you.
God bless you bro and stay motivated |

I read somewhere that applicants invited for interview will be given a document to study. That this document will address C.A.R in its entirety and Interviewees will be asked questions based on these. Mostly behavioral questions and these questions will be centered around C.A.R I think. C - Capacity A - Achievement R - Relationships Before someone will stupidly ask what is Car |

MAKEWAY2029: the time frame you underlined here is the one week you were given to complete the test, not the approximate 45 minutes. LOL....OF COURSE I'm not in support of 25 minutes or 45 minutes or whatever The underlined was to show that the only hint of selection criteria given is "first come...." |

ethene: Laff wan tear my belle(LWTMB)! My questions for u is, how are u so sure that he got all the answers correctly? In my own opinion, that decision making part that wasn't timed but we were advised not to spend more than 25 minutes; I think they also check that to see how well u follow instructions because most pple spent far more than 25 minutes there. The more additional time u spent after 25 minutes the more damage it does to ur application. LOL...More Propaganda and Conspiracy theories. Someone will come and say if you score above the 60th percentile in your tests then you'll be considered, another will say there is a predetermined cut off, others will say they just pick people randomly ....Now ethene is saying '25 mins' You people are not tired of wondering what their criteria is? The only hint Shell gave us is "first come, first serve" .....Every other thing you might conjure up is unconfirmed postulation and hypothesis. |

Happyfaced: Hi guys, I've been following this thread for some time... Thanks for all the info. My problem is that I don't get emails from Shell, in fact from the very first day of registration I've not received any mail. But wen I write to careers@shell.com they tell me what next to do. I've been able to write my test 2 since 19th of November and my application has been under review ever since then. Please is anyone having this same issue. And should it be taking this long to tell me where I stand. I know someone who got a regret mail immediately after test one. Wen it takes dis long does it mean you've done well? I think if you've been following this thread, you'll know that most people who didn't get regret mails immediately are still on review. And you'll also know that 19th is 2 weeks from 5th of November, so in order words, you're not 'first come'.... so when it gets to your turn, you'll know the outcome....I think those who did their tests early on are being reviewed ATM and as a result, some have gotten regrets after 'application under review' So chillax. |
