We are more interested in his associates who tapped the NSA phone. |
Politics › Re: The Conversation About Begging In Lagos Is Long Overdue. by ElSudani: 8:17pm On Feb 14*. Modified: 10:23pm On Feb 14 |
LagosOrigin: Tinubu APC government reduced Nigerians purchasing power which has unfortunately resulted to begging.
Go go Victoria Island around that Odeku and ahmadu bello axis, you will see the level of begging in that area by young boys running after cars and begging for money. It's not like I blame them, it's the tinubu APC government that is making some of them to beg. When it comes to the airport the biggest culprits are the customs and the immigration officers. They have been doing it before APC was created as a party. These officers are all from different parts of the country. As for the city itself, there are beggers in most big cities in the world, nothing unusual. |

AMINDA: Lol. Agbadorians do not know a bait even if it smacks them hard in the face. Will the NSA admit his line has been tapped and proceed to arrest Elrufai? That will be an own goal because he will still not be able to pin anything on Elrufai.
Read Farook Kperogi's write-up on the matter. Elrufai has made his move and it isn't a slip of tongue. The ball is now in Ribadu's court. This is chess, not checkers!
https://www.farooqkperogi.com/2026/02/el-rufais-arise-news-mind-game-with.html?m=1 Chess not checkers, except that issues of security and wire tapping government officials is not a game. El Rufai could well be on his way to jail. |

Ofunaofu: Tony Elumelu is not being objective, he’s being political. Trying to be in the good books of Mr President
A banker of his stature knows better. Liquidity is not value. Availability is not strength. You don’t clap because dollars can now be found at N1,400 after policies helped drag the naira from N460. That’s not progress, that’s currency collapse dressed up as reform.
The naira recorded one of the fastest currency collapses in the world under Tinubu.
Infact, the naira achieved something remarkable, a record-breaking collapse.
Celebrating dollar supply after a over 200 percent currency destruction is economic gaslighting. It’s like setting a house on fire and then demanding applause for reducing the smoke.
And let’s be honest with ourselves; the biggest relief on FX demand from fuel imports came from Dangote Refinery, a private investment, not from government brilliance. Attempting to frame that as policy success is convenient amnesia.
Scarcity may have eased, but the damage is real. The purchasing power wiped out, the businesses crushed, the savings eroded, those don’t disappear because a banker chooses to praise power.
That’s not economic analysis. "A banker of his stature knows better. Liquidity is not value. Availability is not strength. You don’t clap because dollars can now be found at N1,400 after policies helped drag the naira from N460. That’s not progress, that’s currency collapse dressed up as reform"This is complete utter nonsense. |

El rufai made him president but see how tinubu betrayed him.
El rufai has inherited half of buhari 12 million northern block votes and what happened to El rufai yesterday will be seen as a slap to all the northerners ..
Tinubu won't be president beyond 2027, he vacate Aso rock in 2027 insha Allah. These are individuals who care more about their own personal ambition than the overall interest of the country. Nobody has any block votes, we all have one vote each. |

If the democrats had released it folks like you would have argued it was done for political reasons. At the end of the day it is Trump and his appointees that are mentioned in the files and it is really up to the American people to decide if they want associates and protector of PDFs to lead them or not. |

Mrexcell: Pdp are civilise enough to allow opposition parties to flourish unlike the ruling primitive apc that's openly using federal institutions, proxies and loyalists to completely obliterate all the opposition parties in nigeria so why won't any sensible governor defect to the ruling party to secure his seat after knowing fully well his party is about to be totally destroyed by ur tinibu. Only a very delusional person will think the governors defecting are all doing so because they love tinibu and because he is doing exceptionally very well. Name the parties that were strong enough to play opposition to PDP when they had power. The main opposition to Obasanjo's second term was from his own vice president. |

AMINDA: All the Northern Sheikhs who supported Tinubu's muslim-muslim ticket are fast turning their backs on him after clocking he's a serial betrayer. Tinubu is not gaining Christian votes at the same rate that he's losing muslim votes. This should concern Agbadorians when you consider the fact that he won with 5.6m Northern Muslim votes and still had the slimmest margin of victory by any presidential candidate in the history of this country. This was simply because the South didn't vote for him and largely still won't, despite all the defecting governors. Dropping Shettima at this point will only do more damage but he has no other choice. Last time you failed woefully using religion, now you've started again! When are you ever going to learn? Doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result is considered by many as madness. Anyway, maybe that is why Obi had a nutter as an adviser. |

Another blatant lie. Asphalt roads are less expensive, wears out more quickly, requires frequent maintenance and especially bad for hot weather like ours. Yes, maintenance cost for concrete roads may be more expensive but not as frequent as Asphalt roads and they are perfect for hot climate like ours. All the other stuff about your tires are nonsense. |
