You have a thousand of him in high places and the country will not achieve any progress even if the president is a confirmed saint.
These are the real enemies of the country and unfortunately there are too many of them.
Death sentence for these types of people is not too harsh.
Sad it takes foreign governments to uncover these monumental crimes against Nigerians.

The story said he got angry, brought out a gun and squeezed the trigger.

Is anger like something you catch like a flu? Did something cause him to be angry?
Is that "something" the last food in his home?

It was actually more about uncontrollable anger than hunger

No sir, I disagree. How angry do you have to be to pick up a gun against your own son, especially when the disagreement was over food ?

This story ordinarily should sadden anyone. But when you have folks who said only people from one section of the country are hungry.

"O so si mi lenu o bu iyo si."

If you just finish shitting at your backyard and a snake bit you as you were washing your nyasch did it bite you because you were shitting or did it bite you because you were naked in the Bush? undecided

What arrant nonsense. Bottom line, hunger drove him insane to the point of killing his own son.

The boy is bad angry

He won't go to school

He won't go to farm

He won't help his mum

He won't help his dad

He goes out to smoke hemp and come back late to be abusing and fighting everybody

I don't blame his father here for shooting him, it had nothing to do with hunger but the boy was just too stubborn cry

The story says he ate the last food at home and the father got him killed.
Animals don't even kill their offsprings over food.

This is anger. Has nothing to do with hunger.
To bury his son will cost him more than a plate of rice.

Hmmm...Where did you see anger in the story?

The stomach doesn't lie. But damn, this is an extreme case.

"Agụụ na-agụ anyị"

We haven't seen anything close to this in the SW or any other part of Nigeria. Yet, nairaland is replete with threads mocking the SW!

And what if things start to get better which I truly believe is going to be the case?
How else do we get from here to there? We have very few alternatives and many of these are just to postpone the hunger a little bit further for your children and mine and I don't like that. Let's do the hard work now.

Same was said of Obi when you people accused him of killing IPOB members and dumped them at ezu River. The day Soludo or Frank picks up Presidentail form they will turn to IPOB.

Nobody ever said that about Obi. What Anambra folks thought about his government in Anambra is forever preserved online.
Those who are trying to idolize him are lying to themselves.

words like this make me laugh. You have taken a good policies with a bad money management. How will it work. The president of Argentina fly commercial, while Nigeria budget billions of naira for presidential jet. Tinubu went to new York for a summit and spend a billion naira for hotel and logistics. Bought 160 million naira for each house of representatives and senators. How will your policies work with this level of embezzlement. Tinubu is a bad money spender. You budget 5 billions for president yatch. Tinubu with this level of spending cannot take Nigeria anywhere

You probably don't know the meaning of embezzlement. Where's the presidential yacht now?
I would wager that you never read what the Navy had to say about the so called yatch.

he probably wanted to gamble with Nigerians for 4years ,steal as much as he can with his cronies and give paltry sums to his online dogs through their WhatsApp groups to continue defending him then come for another 4years elections.

Well, you are being hypothetical here. What is good about this is your liberty to engage in fantasy no matter how dark or ridiculous.

Have you read his manifesto?

if he could remove subsidy from day one what stoped him from implementing this until now?

Running a government is probably not the way you think.
If you are renovating a house, depending on the type and condition of the house sometimes you may need to fix the roof before the windows or the windows before the roof.

I can bet he wouldn't have implemented this if not for the situation we find ourselves in.
He literally went to bed with corrupt criminals and threw the thrash manifesto in one corner.

Politics / Re: Is President Tinubu Taking The Boldest Political Decisions? by ElSudani: 7:10pm On Feb 26
Anyone who is not ready to take hard decisions is not really ready to change Nigeria.
The easiest thing for Tinubu is to embark on a populist illusion and kick the can down the road like others did.
But, will that help Nigeria? NO.

Obidients should try and read more. I think Obi knew this when he refused to publish a manifesto sensing his followers wouldn't read it.

Push and start presidency. You came into office at a time of economic downturn and created 48 ministries, highest ever in Nigeria existence. Thought you guys said it was required. Now, you are 9 months late.

I hear they have now resumed Fotex intervention. What we advised 9 months ago and they call us "Wailers". Now reverting to same after monumental damages have been done

You certainly didn't know this was part of his manifesto. Unlike another candidate who didn't see any use for a manifesto, thank God we rejected him.

What happened to the multi billion dollar power deal under Bola?

We know exactly what happened to it. The initiative was blocked by the FG under Obasanjo. I am not making this up like Obidients always do. The FG objected to states having independent power projects.
