Foreign Affairs › Re: wave of racist text messages summoning Black people to report for slavery in US by ElSudani: 2:59pm On Nov 08, 2024
givedemwotowoto:
This is a very ignorant statement.

People don't want to be shot by a cop who wants to show his power over a black man, and then gets away with it because the judge agrees with him. You probably live in a country where skin color has never been a problem.

What people are saying is, white nationalists become energized to start acting, like going to the capitol and getting away with it. This is not about being intimidated.

Don't be ignorant

The same you will be shouting "Justice for Deborah" seeing that people murdered her on video and got away with it, while thinking it's about being intimidated by Trump.
You are replying to someone who has probably never left his village, doesn't read news or books for that matter.
They just parrot whatever propaganda they see on the internet.
Most of them are completely ignorant.

Funny Americans. They were lying to themselves that Kamala lost because of Biden, because of non existent bad economy and all that.
What they wouldn't talk about is the real elephant in the room, racism.
The racists won this time, it's nothing about what Kamala did or didn't do.
Pray for the US for the next four years.

For the black folks who voted for Trump, don't even complain. Report as soon as possible to the slave camp. Moro. ns.

You prefer to import cheap and substandard products. The same method that they used to kill Nigerian pharmaceutical companies. Just import substandard drugs from China and India. You take full dosage of antimalarial drugs and the malaria will be doing press up in your body.
That is a glimpse into the mind of a potential economic saboteur.
They don't care about others as long as they can make a few bucks.

They are bringing in substandard products that cannot be sold in Europe and they claim they are cheaper.
That is what a lot of importers do in Nigeria. Some specifically ask for substandard products in order to sell cheaper than their competitors.

Until it is done and you then turn around to claim the FG did it.
Focus more on your own state as Lagos will soon leave you so far behind you will think you are in a different country.

This is the pattern of the west and how they continue to plounder the global south while painting themselves as the good guys and while still maintaining a grip on our resources.

1: Build their empires through slavery

2: End Slavery due to industrialization > start colonialism to gain control of raw materials for industrialization

3: end colonialism => enter a new era of neo colonialism where they control the world financial system and the world order via the global financial system and the Breton woods institutes. In cases where that wasn’t enough, they assassinate heads of states and presidents. You are free but you are not free.
God bless you, how people fail to understand this is a mystery to me.

Read your history, there were rare cases where enslaved individuals gained freedom—whether by purchasing it, receiving it from sympathetic white owners, or through manumission. Even then, freed black slaves often held only a limited status in society, with discriminatory laws still restricting their rights. Blacks, regardless of their status abroad still face discriminations.

Every other thing is playing out today: are blacks not working all their a s s e .s off to purchase citizenship? Go to the UK and find majority of Nigerian students doing jobs they never imagined they would do back home, all because African leaders and their followers have sworn to remain cursed.

When you look at how the black man is foaming and begging Trump for citizenship, you will see that nothing has really changed. Slaves in those days do beg their masters for freedom (aka citizenship).
Gained freedom and still work as sharecroppers. Basically still working for their masters. You need to emancipate yourself from mental slavery like Bob Marley said.

When you realise that japa is modern day slavery, you will stop wasting your time accusing the white man. You people should fix your home.
Japa is nothing compared with slavery. You work your entire life without pay. You do backbreaking work from morning till night until you die. Your wife cook and clean the master's home with no pay until she can no longer work or dead. Your daughter can be raped and you wouldn't dare say a word.
And the only escape for you is death.
How is this similar to japa?

Thank you Jare and the slaves themselves were becoming unmanageable. Like in Haiti where they fought and defeated the French.

You will remain a slave if you keep dwelling on the past. Africa needs to think about it's future.
All the recovered Abacha's loot were looted again by our leaders.
History they say repeat itself. You are more likely to be enslaved again if you forget your past.
You mentioned Abacha, that would be an example of a man who forgot where he was coming from.
How can you take the meager resources of your country to those who contributed in no small measure to the under development of your people.

Oh so you agree the slave trade is/ was a global thing and that blacks weren't the only victim of slave trade and actively participated, correct?
I never said anywhere blacks were the only people. But black people on the other hand suffered the most. Sit and think for a moment 400 freaking years of taking people sometimes from their farms and next thing in a slave ship on the way to provide free labor for some dude in a foreign land for the rest of his life.
Black folks should be saying never again and not trying to rationalize it or downplay it.

Mate, slavery is a global phenomenon. Stop attributing it to the whites.

Now, contrary to your claim. Slavery and slaves long existed before the European involvement. It has existed throughout human history, across various cultures and continents.

just in case you forgot, there were Pre-transatlantic slave.
There was Ancient Egyptian slavery, Greek and Roman slavery, Arab slave trade, trans-Saharan slave trade, etc.
These trades predated European involvement and, in some cases, were equally or even more brutal.

Are you aware that Arab slave trade enslaved an estimated 10-20 million Africans? Where's your condemnation.

Also, African kingdoms like the Ashanti, Dahomey, and Kongo participated in the slave trade. Where's your condemnation? 🤷‍♂️
I mean, your own folks literally sold you out. Yet here you are trying to play the victim card.

Buddy, no one's falling for this anymore!
When you are treated as subhumans for centuries unfortunately you start to accept it as true. This is the only reason a black person would defend slavery in any form.
The fact that it happened many years ago doesn't make it right.
The Jews after the holocaust said never again, the black man on the other hand is trying to rationalize the greatest injustice men have ever done to each other.

Your lot were neck-deep in the slave trade and refused to stop even after the Brits abolished it.

And let's not forget, blacks owned slaves too, your fellow blacks you traded to others. So stop playing the victim card and ditch the crocodile tears.
You are talking nonsense. The British and the white folks in general do not deserve any gratitude for stopping what they started in the first place.
There wasn't any trade in human beings before the white man. Slaves before then were people captured in inter tribal wars.
There's no comparison with the trans Atlantic slave trade.

You are coming from a place of ignorance, your history is readily available to you go and read it. It was called SLAVE TRADE for a reason., Trade means exchanging something for another mostly for commercial purposes.
You are the ignorant one. Human beings are not commodities to be traded in the first place. We are talking of over 400 years of unimaginable cruelty to Africans, not to mention robbing the continent of resources.
The Isrealis are today killing anyone they consider an enemy, how long were the Nazis in power?
Africans are only asking for what is fair, not seeking revenge.
I see you love your chains so much, you might even have convinced yourself you are wearing gold.

And Trump is quality? No, he is not. A section of America is still angry about having a black man as president and you want to elect a black woman?

Some Americans are racists to the core. Any black person supporting Trump is brain dead.
