If I'm among the winner list of PTDF, can I present such admission to PTDF knowing fully well that Canadian Universities are not among those Universities where PTDF ask us to seek admission

I Just deferred my admission this morning cos deadline for showing proof of funds and getting CAS for the school for September entry is this Friday.

Instead of deferring, why didn't you ask your school if you could just send a copy of the scholarship mail invite and a screen shot of where your name was shortlisted?�

Visa processing takes 3 weeks from the day of submission. Abuja gets you faster dates for submission as Lagos is usually crowded but you can also try walk-ins and struggle with mammoth crowds at the gates. All-in-all, you need an average of 4-5 weeks to get the visa, so you do have time

Please if one had gone ahead to pay tuition deposit and even applied for visa, will PTDF reimburse?

There is enough time. PTDF can also pay for priority visa which takes only 5 working days.

Ensure you have your international passport and admission letter ready.

Guess you should just apply for Information Technology, Robotics or Software Engineering. A current scholar said that as far as the course is in the partner University and the course is related to PTDF's subject areas, you can switch to your course of choice.

Hello guys,

On the PTDF portal, I applied for 'IT Cybersecurity' and 'Information Security' to University of Glasgow (all 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices). To my greatest shock, I did not see this course on the university's postgraduate page.

Kindy assist with an advice.

All requirements by PTDF are important.
We must understand that this scholarship is quota system based so, competition is state based.
What this means is if there is a tie on scores amongst applicants, these seemingly "not important" documents will come to play.

I am not an authority but I believe this makes logical sense

Going by all I've read on this thread and the number of UK MSc applicants from my state, I'm just hoping on God's grace alone. Truly, the final awards is largely based on grace rather than just merits.

I think for shortlisting, they take the best from each state according to a benchmark

It's amazing how PTDF have been quiet with this year's scholarship.
I do have a question, are they the ones to help in securing visa? If they are not, they should understand time is of the essence.

I have attend ptdf interviews more than two times. You have to secure admission if not if even if you get the scholarship you will be ask to defer the scholarship to next year pending when you have gotting admission. If am lying call ptdf number and confirm.
