Nigeria, same stories year in year out.

The solution to Nigeria's woo is as simple as ABC.

People in the helms of affairs will never want to profer solutions to the problem we face in Nigeria.

Just as Emefiele & Buhari redesigned naira note just to syphoned public funds likewise this present administration with their LAGOS-Calabar road...it's a good development but i can bet it, this project is meant to recoup election money.

Constant power supply & manufacturing sector will suffice, but they won't want to do it.

what a shame

So many hypocrites are here. Marriage is not about a young man and a young woman. It’s about who you love with your heart. A lot of single ladies here with wahala pro max.

Pray you get your own wife or husband either single mum or single father, it makes no difference.

The bottom line in marriage is BLISS

It clearly shows PDP still by far better than APC in government. APC has no strategy and their party members are just as clueless as their representatives.

This is what we get when the youths are gullible.

We deserve every bit of this mess.

All you ignorant folks here talking like you know what happens in the UK and USA. In the USA and UK foods is very cheap. Food there is nothing. Have you heard of food banks? They give food for free. I personally use to do dumpster diving in those days as a student (Google dumpster diving) come see fresh food na that people no longer need. My fridge was usually full with all kinds of foods... Light bill, water bill, etc that is the Koko. You go pay tire!!! It's only in Nigeria I see so much ignorance.
The bottom line of the op is PURCHASING POWER, with all the bills in UK, if you work just 5 days a week paid with just the minimum wage, you are good to go. But in Nigeria work 5 days a week with Nigerian minimum wage, you will be just like the Lawma staff begging for alms.

Properties / What Does Government Scheme Means In Lagos by eluquenson(m): 3:07pm On Nov 21, 2023
Hi guys, I tried to purchase a house in Oworonshoki last week, i sent a surveyor there to take coordinates. He took it to Alausa to verify, but to my surprise he came back yesterday that the property is under government scheme.

Sincerely, this is my first time of hearing such statement and PLEASE, any advice on this how to resolve it or better idea about this issue so as to be fully aware of the implications if it has or will have in the nearest future.

Your opinion count

But why are we hesitant to "work our ass out (SIC)" here before we live fine here? Why do we give up on our land so easily, preferring to go work our asses off in countries where their citizens were patient enough to build
In Nigeria, there is absolutely no reward for labour. Here in UK, it’s a pay as you go thing and you get what you work for, everything is just fine and working.

Mind you, Nigerians are law abiding citizens but the political and government structure is the major problem.

As a Nigerian I believe we are all ready for economic growth and development if the government put all resources in place. It’s quite pathetic but life in England is sweet if you have money

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Fuel Subsidy Has Been Removed But My Salary Remain The Same by eluquenson(m): 11:52am On Jun 20, 2023
Fuel subsidy removal is very good, but the time and situation in the country will make it a worse decision.

There is no soft landing for people to cope with the hike in price as a result of the removal. Subsequently, foreign exchange rate was decentralised making a steep increase in fx rate.
These policies are good but implemented at the wrong time, yeah! they might not be a right time but the economy needs to be stabilized and inflation reduced before making such a stupid decision.

Does anyone have a link to Nigerian high commission here in Uk, i went for my biometric captioning since March hoping to get the passport back since last week, but on tracking it, it still not ticked the NIN stage. can someone please help me on what to do, or if you've encountered such what did you do to solve it.
If you applied for a 10yrs validity it will take like 3 months to be dispatched to you. But if it’s a 5 yrs validity passport, you supposed to get it within 2 to 3 weeks. I did mine last year and it’s 2 weeks I received it, 5yrs though

I have a question about PTA.

I know school fees takes long to approve. Does PTA take that long as well?

Must you use the branch where you opened the account?

For someone going to Canada, can he apply for USD PTA or it must be CAD.
1. PTA takes less than 2 weeks to be treated, 2 weeks prior to travel date
2. choose any branch of your choice
3. It must either be USD/GBP/EUR if it's a cash request, but if it's a card it will only be USD

I hope these help
