“We already know that, can you tell us how to escape from him,” Jason said.
“Let me explain. Thanatos was the child of Nyx, the goddess of night. His brother Hypnos was the god of sleep. Hypnos caused people to fall into a deep sleep when their time on earth was expired and Thanatos would carry them peacefully to the underworld.”
“Then why is he after us? It’s not like our time on earth has expired” Barry asked.
“You breached into his world.” It’s like entering into a bank vault; the police will surely come for you.
“I searched who to escape death and what I saw we have to do is to lock him in our shackles and we had to use some materials like knife, candle, light, salt and a CROSS” Iris commented.
“Those are some of the materials needed to perform the ritual but the shackles won’t stop him”
“What ritual?” Barry asked.
“A protection ritual” Henry replied.
“You said the shackles won’t work, why?” Iris asked further.
“A long time ago, a mortal deceived him and locked him in his shackles; he won’t make the same mistake. Coupled with it, he is a god and you are no match for him” Henry said and paused. “The only way to stop him is to stab him in the heart with a purified cross”
“I’ll do it,” Jason said and Henry laughed.
“Why are you laughing?”
“You think this is a joke, you can’t because you have gone there before. Thanatos plays with the mind of his victims; we need someone who has gone there.
“I’ll do it” Iris volunteered.
“Let us get to work, luckily, I have all the materials we need” Henry concluded.
Henry went into the church store and got the items needed. He drew a big circle with salt and place candles around it. The lights off and everywhere became dark.
“He is here. Quickly get in the circle and do not leave the circle no matter what” Henry commanded.
He said and incantation and told Iris to lie down in the middle of the place of the candle in the circle. He then faced Iris.
“Take this cross, it's purified. When you get there, find his throne and destroy it. It will force him to do back. The cross will protect you”
“Okay I got it”
“Close your eyes iris”
Iris closed her eyes and Henry stabbed her. She exhaled her last breath and lay dead waking up in the underworld.
She looked around hoping to see a dead soul flying around but didn’t.
“This is not what I pictured the underworld to be,” she thought aloud looking for any sign of the chair.
“Welcome,” a voice said followed by an eruption of laughter.
“Who is there, show yourself,” she said.
Emerging from the dark was a tall dark man with bold dark eyes.
“Who are you?”
“I am HADES, the god of the dead and you dear are not going anywhere”
“Shit” Iris ran while Hades chased her.
“You can’t escape,” Hades said and laughed devilishly.
Iris continued running and fell in a deep endless hole.
Meanwhile, Thanatos walked into the church circling them while dragging his knife which made a loud noise. He couldn’t breach the circle. He stopped and made eye contact with Barry hypnotizing him.
Barry looked up and saw Sophia.
“Sophia, is that really you?”
“Who else would it be?”
“No, he's playing tricks on me”
“Barry stop, you are drunk, please stop. Drop the bottle” she said while the events that lead to her death played in Barry's mind.
“Stop” he pleaded.
“You killed me Barry, murderer”
“I can explain,” Barry said moving close to her. He realized he had crossed the line and looked at Sophia but instead it was Thanatos.
Thanatos smiled and grabbed Barry by the leg dragging him.

“Barry” Jason shouted making an attempt to save him.
“Don’t cross the line Jason” Henry shouted.
Iris woke up, with the cross in her hand and ran towards Thanatos. Thanatos upon seeing Iris let go of Barry and aimed his knife at her head. She bent down and slide then thrust the cross into his heart.
He screamed and dispersed into dust.
“You did it, Iris,” Jason said hugging her.
The lights came up and they smiled. Iris walked up to Henry and kissed his hand.
“Thank you Father Henry”
“Anytime Iris”
They bid Father Henry bye and went home. They narrated their experience to granny and laughed at the jokes Iris made up.
The next day, Iris came down from her brother's car and ran towards Jake who was close to the school gate.
“Jake, wait up” She called and went over to meet him.
“Good morning, Iris”
“Good morning, Jake”
“Hope you slept well?” Jake asked.
“For the first time in two days, yeah I did”
“Well that’s nice”
“It really is. Let us go, we are almost late for the first lesson”
“Okay,” he replied. Iris held his hand and they both stared at each other and smiled.
“Race you to class,” Jake said and released her hand, running to class.
“Hey, that’s cheating” Iris shouted running after him but stopped abruptly after she heard her name. She proceeded to leave again when she heard her name again.
“Iris” Hades called.
Iris felt strange and looked back. Her eyes widened as she saw Hades staring at her from a tree far away with a menacing smile on his face.
“HOLY SHIT!!!”

Ace slowly bring the car to a stop at the residence of Iris, she alighted from the car and knocked on the door which was opened by Iris who led her in.
“Hope no problem?” Iris questioned
“There is, I saw Lance” they are holding their head and sighed.
“I know am not crazy, he was right there, it was like I brought him back from the dead. It felt real, exactly how it was when we did the ritual”
“I know Ace,” Barry said. “I heard Sophia call my name but I didn’t see her”
“Wait, does that mean we are being hunted”
“I think you guys are just paranoid. You have been dreaming to see them and now you do, your mind is messing with you. Ace just go home, get a rest and you will be fine”
“This is not my mind messing with me Jason. This is damn real; Iris please say something!”
“I don’t know what to say or think, maybe Jason is right. Get some sleep and let’s see what happens tomorrow”
“Am not going back to the house alone, am scared and I saw that thing again”
“Saw what?” Barry asked
“That monster, I’m really scared. Can I stay here?”
“Sure, I don’t mind” She gave Jason a quick look and faced Ace.
“Come let me show you your room” she stood up while Ace followed suit while Barry left for his home.
At midnight, in the Ace room, she heard a bird screech and she woke up frightened to see the bird standing there at the window. It stared at her with its red eyes. At Ace back was Thanatos. She picked a rod that lay on the floor and followed the bird out of the window determined to kill it.
Iris took her laptop and searched on Séance. A list of Webpages opened and she clicked the first one which had a headline “FOUR TEENS DIE MYSTERIOUSLY AFTER A SÉANCE SESSION”. She browsed through the page and saw that which took place in the attendant workshop she also read they saw a blackbird in reality then Thanatos would appear to kill them. Moving down she saw another headline on how to stop death after performing the ritual. It read: The way to stop death is to trap Thanatos in your shackles, see a priest.
“Bleep is that all. Gosh”
The bird flew and landed on Ace's car in front of the house. She was about to hit it when she heard her name. Looking back she saw her brother and smiled.
“You are back”
“Yes sis, to take you”
“Wait, to where?”
“To the underworld, where you belong,” He said.
She looked up and saw the monster. She threw the rod at him like a spear but he disappeared and the rod flew across. Running to pick the rod, she tripped, fell and winced in pain, her leg joint dislocated. Thanatos appeared and looked down at her.
“What in the devil name are you?” she asked knowing it was her last minute on earth.
“I am Thanatos” the god of death. He answered with a spooky voice and stabbed her heart with his knife and disappeared. She screamed. Jason and Iris ran out. Iris ran to her and held her head up.
“No, no. Stay with me Ace”
“What happened here Ace? Who did this?” Jason asked.
“Than, tha-na” she said and died.
“Who Ace?” Jason asked shaking her vigorously.
“She’s gone, Jason. She’s dead”
“Bleep” Jason shouted.
Jason went to the garage and took a spade digging a grave in which they buried Ace afterward. The next day, Barry stops at their house after receiving a text from Jason to come over.
“I got your message, Jason. What’s the problem?”
“Ace’s dead man, she’s dead”
“What! How, when?”
“Last night, we heard her scream and traced her voice outside and saw her lying helplessly on the grass. She was stabbed”
Jason narrated.
“Did you see the killer?”
“NO, but when I asked her, she said Tha-na... but didn’t complete it before she died”
“She meant Thanatos,” Iris said
“Who is that?” Barry asked
“The one who killed Ace” Iris replied
“How do you know of this?”
“Well, I searched about the ritual you did and saw a lot of people had done it. Do you know that none of those who did the ritual are alive?”
“What do you mean?” Jason asked
“They all died, Jason. They all fucking died” she said hitting the wall with her fist which left a dent. “According to what I read you will see a blackbird with red eyes later on Thanatos will appear and kill you.”
“Oh shit!” Barry exclaimed “it was the one I saw yesterday when I said I heard Sophia called me but didn’t see her; instead it saw the bird I saw”
“While Barry talked, Jason saw the blackbird staring at him with its red eyes”.
“Jason am talking to you, have you seen this bird?” iris asked.
“NO, what bird, haven’t seen it” he answered but Iris says the worried look on his face.
“Jason, you have seen the bird right. Stop lying and tell me the truth”
“Fine, I saw the bird. What do we do now?” Jason revealed.
“We find a priest who is into spiritualism”
“And why are we doing that?” Barry asked.
“When I clicked on how to stop him, it said we have to trap him in our shackles and stab him in the heart with a cross”
“What does that mean?”
“I don’t know, that why we are finding a priest”
“I still don’t get why a priest is involved,” Barry said.
“Because it said we should find a priest and fortunately I know a priest who does just that. Let’s go pack our bags, we are leaving for Texas” Iris concluded and they all entered Ace car and drove home to pack their things.
The journey to Texas was quiet as everyone was deep in thought. Five hours later, Iris put the car to a stop and they all came down scanning the environment. A woman in her eighties came out of the house. A smile engulfed her face seeing Iris. Iris walked up to her and hugged her
“Iris, is this really you?”
“Yes granny, it’s me Iris” She answered hugging her tight.
They disengaged from the hug and Jason went closer to her.
“Hi, granny”
“My boy is now a man. Come here” she gestured for him to come closer, embracing him.
“Who is that? I don’t recognize him”
“He’s our friend and we need the help of the village old priest. Is he well?” Iris asked.
“He’s dead” she replied. “Don’t just stand here, come in?” she said ushering them in.
“We are doomed,” Barry said as they walked into the house.
Taking their seats, they were served food before Iris narrated the whole event and how their friend died.
“This is huge and bad” granny exclaimed
”That’s why we came here, granny. Please help us”
“You don’t go about messing with the dead realm. Anyway, like I said, the village priest is dead but his successor, father Henry is also a spiritualist. He should be able to help you”
“Where is he?” Jason asked.
“At the church”
“Does he live there?”
“Yes”
“Where is the church,” Iris asked further.
“Down the road”
“Can we go to him this night? Iris asked.
“Yes but it can wait till tomorrow, let’s go sit outside and talk for a while,” Granny said standing up while Iris helps her up.
“Thank you, dear”
They all went outside and sat around the fire, on the chairs which Iris brought out from the room. Jason made up a joke which they all laughed at. They talked and laughed, forgetting their worries when suddenly Barry heard a voice whisper his name.
“Yes Iris, what’s the problem?”
“What problem, Barry?”
“You called my name”
“No, I didn’t”
“Who then did?” He asked but heard his name again. They all became alert and silent as a graveyard.
The blackbird flew and perched on a tree close to them. It screech and Iris who heard the screech turn to the direction it came from and saw Thanatos coming towards them
“He is here,” She said.
“What do we do?” Barry asked, sweating profusely. The thought of been killed by Thanatos had activated his hormones.
Quickly, Jason carried granny and ran into the house followed by the rest. Iris missed her step while running and fell. She winced in pain and crawled fast after seeing Thanatos coming towards her.
“Am coming to Iris?” Jason said as he picked the door keys which lay on the table.

“Lock the door Jason” Iris shouted.
Thanatos took Iris by the leg and dragged her close to the fire and let go of her leg. He raised his knife to kill her but stop when Iris shouted.
“You foul spirit; you are not allowed to touch the anointed. I rebuke you” she said pointing the cross of Jesus she hung on her neck at him. He wailed spookily and Iris used the opportunity to run to the house. Jason, who had been watching the scene with Barry and granny, opened the door for Iris to enter and locked it immediately she got in.
Thanatos walked menacingly to the door, banging it hard.
“We are going to die!” Barry exclaimed.
“Not this night,” Iris said. She stood up and walked to the door, placing the cross she hung around her neck to the door.
Thanatos attempted to hit the door again but couldn’t. A barrier that looked like a mirage stops him from hitting the door. He hit the big table beside him with his knife and disappeared. The table cracked and broke into two.
“Go get some sleep Jason, I’ll keep watch,” Iris said.
“No, you get some sleep while I watch but first we have to treat your leg. Hold on let me get a water and a towel” Jason said leaving but stopped and turned to Granny. “Where do you keep your first aid kit granny? He asked.
“In the tallest wardrobe that’s in my room”, Granny answered while Jason went to the room to get the first aid kit.
He straightens the bones that were dislocated in Iris leg and applied a bandage to it.
“Done, how is it?” he asked while Iris stretched her legs in a conical way.
“It’s good. Thanks”
“Good night Iris,” said Jason. He kissed her forehead and sat on the chair opposite her, keeping watch. He looked at Granny and Barry and saw they were fast asleep.
“Good night Brother” Iris replied, lied down and drifted off in sleep.

The next day, Jason is woken up by a strange scent. He traced the scent to the kitchen where it came from. He saw iris preparing food and sneaked behind her.
“Am here for you, surrender?” he said with a spooky voice.
Iris held the iron plate and hit Jason and he shouted in pain.
“Ouch, it’s me, Iris,” Jason said touching the part of his head the plate hit”
“Jesus, Jason. You scared the Crap out of me”
“I know”
“Why did you pull such a stunt?” She asked.
“Come on, I was just kidding around” He replied.
“Well serves you right. Take, put pressure on it” Iris instructed and threw a small bag of ice at Jason which he caught and placed on the part which had gotten swollen.
“What were you doing here in the first place, apart from murdering me?”
“Your delicious food aroma woke me up” Jason replied with a wink.
“I’ll dish your food for you. Can you please get out of my kitchen?”
“Okay fine. I’ll be waiting”
At 12pm Barry and Iris came from the house and went to the car. Barry sat at the back seat while Iris sat beside her brother who ignited the car and drove to the church. They all alighted from the car after Jason had put the car to a stop and headed to the door. Iris knocked on the door and the door was opened, revealing a tall, handsome man who was in a priest robe.
“Henry!” Iris exclaimed.
“Hello Iris, what a coincidence. The name is Father Henry”
“Do you know him?” Jason asked.
“Of course I know him but it’s a long story” She turned to Father Henry. “We need your help”.
“Come in,” Henry said with a gesture leading the way to his office.
“Sit”
They all sat down and he stared at each one of them before adjusting his seat.
“So, what is the problem?”
“We are being chased by a monster,” Jason said but was interrupted.
“How is that possible?” Henry asked.
“We did a ritual to see our dead love one and we have since then been chased by this monster” Barry concluded.
“Wait, you did a ritual and now a monster is chasing you. Did the monster wield a long curved knife?”
“Exactly”
“Then you are in big trouble. You didn’t just mess with any demon, you messed with Thanatos; the god of death” He said doing a sign of the cross. He stared at them who didn’t comprehend what he was saying.
“I’ll make it easier for you,” He said and went to his shelf and brought a big book which he opened gesturing with his hands for the others to come closer.
In the book was a bold writing which was in the Greek language.
“It says Gods of the Earth”
He opened the book to the middle page and looked up at them.
“Thanatos is the god of death”

In the sitting room
“That’s how it’s done Iris, we would have to suffocate ourselves so we can die temporarily and pass on to meet them,” Barry said.
“You mean you guys practically want to kill yourselves for this experiment,” said Iris.
“Yeah and you will revive us” Jason replied
“Jason am not a doctor, am a trainee nurse”
“We are not actually killing ourselves,” Ace said.
“Then what do you call what you just described, blackout, huh. I can’t believe am having this conversation”
“That’s why we are doing it”
“We wouldn’t be doing this if we hadn’t done research on it,” Barry said.
“Jason this is crazy and you are actually considering filming them, you’ll go to jail”
“Am not considering filming them, I’ll be doing it with them?” Jason said making Iris laugh.
“You are kidding me right, I hope you are”
“Am not, Iris do this for me, do it for us okay. Please, if you don’t we’re just going to do it anyway, even without you”
Iris holds her head thinking deeply
“We leave in the morning,” said Jason retiring to his room.

THE NEXT MORNING
Iris walks to the kitchen and pours herself a cup of coffee, she sips it and Jason entered the kitchen.
“Good morning sis, I can see you are drinking coffee”
“Yeah, I will need it today” Iris replied
“Okay,” Jason said moving to his laptop
“Camera, check”
“Lights, check”
“Defoliate, check”
“What’s a Defoliate?” Iris asked
“I saw some girls using it online, said its good can’t help but try it out”
“Bleep Jason, you want to look sexy when you die”
“Yeah, not a bad idea”
Jason moves closer to his sister and stand in front of her
“Look, I am not just doing it for fun or for the fame or video. Am doing this to see mum one last time and bid her goodbye, it’s a risk worth taking”
“I don’t want anything to happen to you Jason”
“Nothing will happen to me, okay. Thank you for always been there for me; it means a lot to me. Alright come on let’s get going, we’ve only got a few hours” Jason said heading out.
They arrived at a church and alighted from the car walking into the old abandoned compound. Graves of dead people occupied the compound as it was a custom of the church to bury any members who dies, in the compound.
They believed that it would prevent wicked spirits and demons from distracting or confusing the spirit of the dead member from entering purgatory which is a gateway to the afterlife.
“Is this the place, because it looks scary?” Ace commented as to start a conversation since they’ve all been quiet since they left the house.
“Well I have a little question,” Iris said while Jason stooped and faced her.
“What is your question?”
“Why are we doing this in an old, abandoned God forsaking church? This place is creepy” Iris asked.
“Where do you expect we do it huh, in a public and risk looking like a physicist. Barry's research says all the partakers did it in an abandoned church and also Holy Mary will be here to pray for us if anything goes wrong?”
“Nice speech brother lets proceed.”
They walked to the church door with Jason leading the way, pressing the doorknob it creaked as Jason slowly opened it.
On a grave which faced the church front door stood a small spooky blackbird which looked malnourished, it stared at the teenagers as they entered the church and the door.
Its eyes shone red and it disappeared into thin air after the door had been shut.
Jason scanned the church, pointing to the alter he suggested they execute their plan there as a picture of Holy Mary was pasted there signifying she was watching them.
“Don’t tell me you believe in the myth that Mary is actually watching you”
“Come on, Pope always teach that Holy Mary is always watching and praying for us” Jason defended.
“Well if she is truly watching you she ought to tell you that this whole thing is a bad idea” Iris fired.
“Can we just carry on with what we are here for? Ace said moving to a chair which she sat on immediately.
Checking the camera, Jason sat in a chair in the middle of Ace and Barry.
“We are good to go,” Iris said recording them.
“Good day guys, its Jason your daredevil master. We are going to try a dangerous stunt, something I have never done before; we are going to the underworld to meet our love one but first, we have to die. Viewers discretion, don’t try this at home, everything filmed now is absolutely real, let the journey begin”
“I’ll go first” Ace volunteered.
Jason, with a big sack, covered Ace's face suffocating her. The same thing was done to Barry and Jason.
Ace struggled to set free till she passed out awakening in the dark realm. She walked about in the dark until she heard her voice, she turned towards the direction the voice came from and she saw her long-dead brother.
“Lance” she called
“Welcome sis” He replied with a smile.
“Am glad to see you; I never thought I would see you again?” She said hugging him tight.
“You are here now and we will be together always”
“I can’t stay Lance; I have to go back”
“I thought you came to see me, Ouch my head hurts” He winced in pain.
“What’s the problem?”
Ace steps back fearfully after seeing the skeleton-like creature. Lance stood and the creature talked.
“You can’t leave; this is now your home”
In the human realm, Iris watches the timer she had set at three minutes and had agreed to wake them up after the given time had elapsed. That of Ace rings and Iris administers oxygen to her.
“Come on Ace,” she said pumping the oxygen bag.
“HO!” Ace exclaimed breathing rapidly.
Barry woke up in the dark realm; he called out his girlfriend name Sophia.
“Am right here Barry?” She said and Barry looked back to see her.
“It’s so good to see you, Sophia, I’ve missed you so much,” He said moving closer to her. “Am so sorry for what I did”
“NO, don’t be, I missed you too,” she said closing the distance between them and they locked their lips, kissing each other hungrily.
She broke the kiss and began kissing his neck then deep her fangs into his neck biting and sucking his blood while he moaned in ecstasy. Barry timer also rings and Iris gives him oxygen.
“Ho, Ho” I am back.
“Remain Jason”
Down there in the dark realm, Jason walks about in no direction looking for his mother.
“I thought if you think of the dead person you want to see before you die, you will be able to see them or did something go wrong,” Jason said in thought.
“Jason” his mum called and he looked ahead and saw her
“Mum” he called, walking towards her direction. “Is that really you?” he asked
“Yes, it’s me, Jason”
Jason ran and hugged his mum tightly.
In the human realm Jason's timer goes off and iris pumps oxygen through his nose but he doesn’t respond.
“Come on Jason,” Iris said while Barry and Ace stared worriedly.
“Something is going wrong,” Iris said bringing out a syringe and a bottle.
“What could be wrong?” Barry asked
“Wake up Jason, please” Ace sobbed
“I don’t know,” she said draining the content in the bottle into the syringe and injecting it in Jason's arm.
“I’ve missed you so much mum, I didn’t get a chance to bid you farewell”
“It’s okay, you are here now and that’s what matters” she replied picking up a cake from the ground.
“I baked this cake for your birthday the night I died but I didn’t get to eat it with you”
“I couldn’t eat the cake the next day which was my birthday”
“I know, that’s why it’s here. Happy birthday, son” she said with a smile.
“Blow the candles,” she said.
Jason with tears in his eyes blew the lights and stared at the cake. Drips of blood fell on the cake and he looked at his mother's face to see her laughing as more blood dripped down on the cake.
“Mum” he called but she changed to something I can’t explain.
“You are not leaving Jason,” she said while he moved back.
It ran to him and he shouted waking up in the human realm.
“It’s me, Jason, take a deep breath” Ace instructed caressing his hair.
“Okay”
“That’s better,” Iris said feeling his heartbeat return to normal.
“Thanks, sis”
“Let’s go home”

The next day they gathered in the sitting room discussing their experience.
“Are you sure its mum you saw?” Iris asked
“Yes it was mum but she was different, sure it was her” he replied gulping down a glass of wine.
“The place was a dark…”
“Space, like a dark place,” Ace said completing Barry's statement.
“We all woke up in the same place but in a different dimension” Jason concluded.
“Before I left, Sophia became something else, a man” Barry said gaining their attention.
“Wait, what do you mean she turned to something else?” Iris asked worriedly.
“She started biting me, the fangs marks are on my neck,” he said showing them the marks.
“Dear Lord! I thought it was a lie. I had a similar experience too” Ace exclaimed.
“What!!” Iris exclaimed
“Lance, he smiled awkwardly and this thing appeared”
“What thing?”
“I don’t know. One thing I am sure about is that It wasn’t human” Ace answered taking a deep breath.
“What did it say?” Barry asked
“It said I couldn’t leave, that that was now my home”
“Bleep!”
“It didn’t want me to leave” Ace continued “it chased me and that’s when I woke up”
“This is so bleeped up,” Barry said gulping down the remaining alcohol in the bottle.
“Stop spitting out crap” Jason shouted.
“You saw it too, didn’t you?” Ace asked. “Answer me” she commanded.
“Look whatever happened when we were coming out of there was just an illusion; it was our minds messing with us, okay. We practically died guys; sure hell is going play with our minds. Go get some sleep and you will be fine” Jason said looking at each one of them before retiring to bed.
At night, Jason lies on his bed resting his back on the wall as he operated his laptop. He moved his leg and saw a blackbird with red eyes on the window staring at him. Frightened, he jumped off the bed and switched on the light but the bird was gone when he looked back. Recovering from the shock he sat down and brought out a bottle that contained pills of aspirin. He took a pill, swallowed it and retired to bed leaving the lights on.
Lynx Chemical’s was where Barry worked as a Lab scientist. He was mixing some chemicals when suddenly his radio which he placed a bit far from him stopped playing.
“Hey am listening to that,” he said but got no response.
“Mick, is that you?” he asked but still didn’t get any reply.
He stood up and walked cautiously to where the radio was, he turned on the radio but it turned off when he was going back. It happened the second time and he got scared.
“Barry” he heard a voice call his name.
“Sophia, Is that you?” he asked but got no response.
He heard a bird screech behind him; he turned and saw the blackbird. Quickly, he bent down and picked a rod but the bird had disappeared when he stood up.
“What the!” he exclaimed.
Ace sat in the sitting room drinking a cup of coffee. Her dad walked down from the stairs and sat beside her, caressing her shoulder.
“I checked your room but you weren’t there, what’s the problem?” he asked.
“If I tell you, you’ll think I am crazy” she replied.
“Tell me, am your dad.”
“Okay. I saw Lance. I did this ritual thing to see him” she said while her dad sighs. “It worked and I saw him”
At that moment Lance walks in with a cupcake and a candle on it.
“Look, dad, he’s here. He’s right behind you” she said and her dad looked back but didn’t see anyone.
“You are scaring me Ace, I can’t see him,” he said while Ace stood up and followed Lance to the staircase.
“Save my daughter Lord,” her dad said the short prayer before calling her name as he searches for her.
“You brought the cupcake I gave you on your birthday,” she said leaning on the staircase.
“Yes, sis. I missed you”
“I missed you too Lance”
“Here” he stretched the cake to her and she collects it.
“Thanks,” she said.
The cake started melting into the blood and she looked at her brother but instead saw the monster. She screamed moving back but her dad caught her.
“It’s me,” her dad said hugging her as she embraced him tightly. “Everything is fine, okay. Let me get you a glass of water” her dad said leaving for the kitchen. Once he was out of sight Ace picks up her car keys and walks out of the house into the garage. She ignited her car, setting it in motion and drove off to Iris's residence.

Location: Briton University
Iris, a student in her twenties walked to the counselor's office and knocked gently on the door.
When she didn’t get a reply, she quietly opened the door and entered the office. Looking around the office admiring it; the wall was painted blue and the ceiling pink.
“Why would he choose pink, that’s a girl color,” she thought and shoke her head erasing the thought from her mind.
On the desk was a small glass with the name Mr. Sin written boldly on it.
“Sometimes I wonder why a parent would name their child SIN,” she said aloud sitting down on the chair opposite to that of the counselor’s waiting patiently for him to arrive.
“Maybe he reminded them of their sin or he was a sin” she smiled stupidly at her silly statement.
Few minutes later he arrived adjusting his tie while sitting on the chair.
He smiled looking at the small glass on his table, on which his name; Mr. Sin and his position; counselor was written boldly on it.
“You sent for me, Mr. Counselor,” Iris said looking straight at him.
“Yes Miss Iris, I sent for you”
“Okay, here I am”
“I have an important matter to discuss with you”
“Am on all ears” she replied stretching her hands.
“Well, the thing is that you have not been performing well in your line of course and I am really worried,” said the counselor studying her reaction as he continued.
“If you feel you can’t balance or cope with it, I’ll advise you to drop out on this course, like your brother did and cross-over to another course. Nursing is not a course you can play with, judging by your recent grades and behavior you may fail and repeat the course which I don’t want you to. I know you are still shaken about your mum's death but you have to let it go and find someone to share your problem with………...
“I get it, Sir, I messed up last semester and I won’t let it happen again,” Iris said cutting the counselor off.
“In case you need someone to talk to, I…..”
“Thank you, sir, but I won’t need it. I will like to take my leave” Iris replied cutting him off once more.
She stood up from the chair and went out slamming the door leaving the counselor in total awe.
She had always been his best student right from her college where he taught biology before he became a lecturer here. A few years later he saw her in his class where he taught biology 101, she picked up also as the best student in her course that year but she suddenly changed after the death of her mother and that got him worried.
“To hell with him, I hate people poking into my privacy and family life,” she said as she kicked the waste bin while coming out of the school.
“Calm down girl or you are going to bring down this school with your temper,” Jake who happened to be her department mate said smiling. He was very funny and was known for making fun of people when they are angry.
Iris shot him a glare and the smile on his face was replaced with fear, they were always scared whenever she shot anyone that glare because they know what would follow next.
Surprisingly she didn’t do anything to Jake.
“You are lucky that you’re cute” She stared at him for a while and turned around heading to her abode, leaving a stunned Jake with his mouth agape.
“This is absolutely not real,” Jake said and pinched himself.
“Ouch, it’s real. I am not dreaming, am not fucking dreaming” he exclaimed!
“You like her, don’t you? A pitch dark voice asked from behind.
“Of course I do”
“Well, she’s mine” the voice trailed off.
“Who the hell are you…!!? Jake paused when he turned and saw no one. He jumped up scared and ran like a man pursued by an evil spirit.
Iris waved at a cab which stopped right in front of her.
“Georgia’s close”
“That’s 10 dollars miss”
“Okay,” she said entering the cab.
The cabman ignited the car and set it in motion.
During the journey Iris was moody and the driver saw it on her face through the mirror.
“You look, moody miss, something bothering you?”
“Yeah, and it is none of your business. Just drive this god damn car faster and drop me home” she replied harshly.
“Am sorry miss”
“Just try and stop poking your nose into other people business”
“Okay miss”
Few minutes later the cab stopped right in front of her house. She alighted and brought out money to pay him.
“Here is your pay,” she said stretching the money to him.
“Don’t bother about it miss, the ride is free”
“What!”
“Yeah, you heard me right”
“Okay, thanks”
“You are welcome,” he said walking to his cab.
“Hey, about what happened earlier? Am sorry, I was really pissed off today” She said pouting her face.
“And you find me suitable to aggravate your anger on”
“I said am sorry”
“I get it, I was kidding. Off the record; the name’s Henry”
“Am Iris”
“You mean like the iris in our eye”
Iris made an angry face.
“Oh the queen is angry, who is going to save me from the wrath of the queen? Kill me, my queen, for I am not worthy of being your servant” He said while demonstrating which made Iris laugh.
“Rise Sir Henry of Camelot, your sin has been forgiven. She replied and they burst into laughter.
“That was funny, are you a comedian?
“Nay my Lady, I am a comedian”
“Bleep, you are damn funny,” she said admits laughter.
“I have to go”
“I wish you could stay, why not come in for a cup of coffee”
“I would like to but am late for an ordination.
“Bye, have a nice day, Lady Iris”
“Bye, Sir Henry.”
Iris turned and moved to the door where letters laid. She picked up the letters and opened the door leading to her room.
“It’s good to be home!” She exclaimed dropping her bag off her bed.
She brought out the letters and read through. They were letters from people feeling sorry about the death of her mum and expressing the sincere condolence.
“Condolence my foot, they hated her mum when she was alive and they had the gut to send a condolence message.”
“Screw them” she sobbed and drifted off in sleep.

She woke up later in the night, the room was in a little bit dark but the light from the headlamp illuminated the room.
Looking at the clock beside the headlamp, it was 8:00pm.
“Geez, can’t believe I slept that long,” she said uncovering the duvet.
“I stink, I have to shower”
She wore her slippers and was going to the bathroom when she stopped due to the faint voices she heard coming from the sitting room.
“We don’t usually have visitors. Who could they be? She asked herself.
She removed her slippers and wore her socks, then tip-toe to the door of the sitting room where she traced the voices to and eavesdropped on their conversation.
“Are you sure she is going to do this for us? The girl asked Jason, Iris's brother.
“Yeah”
“Where is she?
Iris barged into the sitting room interrupting the discussion.
“Do what Jason?
“Oh, you are awake”
“Who are these people Jason?
“Go to your room I’ll explain, let’s go,” he said as Iris led the way to her room.
“Explain, now” she requested immediately they got to her room.
“I tried too, I wanted to but you just barged in on us”
“Answer me, who are those people? She asked.
“I met them online; they saw some of my videos and said they had this idea”
“What idea is that? She asked staring intensely at her brother.
“You’re going to freak out if I tell you”
“That’s my problem, just spill the shit out”
“Okay, just keep your voice down. Barry lost his girlfriend, he was drunk and he mistakenly smashed a bottle on her head killing her, He lived his life wishing to see her one last time to apologies, while Ace wants to see her young dead brother”
“And how is that any of your problems? Are you trying to get yourself in playing a witch board game or what?
“Barry found this ritual online that if you let yourself completely pass on in death for a while, you would be able to connect with your dead loved ones”
“Jason, I can see you have finally lost it. Like what the Bleep!!!”

On the lonely road, a car speeds like it’s been chased; the driver drove hastily, entering a street and into a mechanic workshop stopping abruptly scaring the female attendant who was closing the workshop for the day.
A girl in her twenties alighted from the car and walked hastily towards the attendant.
“Hello please my car is faulty, can you help me?” she asked the attendant who was scared by the way she drove in.
“Am sorry we are closed for today” the attendant replied moving closer to her office while the girl entered the car shaking her boyfriend who was bleeding profusely.
“Look at me Nate, am going to get help. Don’t close your eyes, am going to get the car working and we are going to go far away without looking back. We can beat this, just stay awake for me please” she said holding his face; she couldn’t control the tears that gathered in her eyes. She blinked and let them flow freely.
Nate dragged his head up, fighting to breathe.
“Am bleeding Kate?” he said breathlessly while the attendant watched them clueless of what was happening.
“I know and am going to get us help, please don’t close your eyes, help is coming,” she said stepping out of the car.
“Hello, Is he alright?” the attendant asked worriedly as Kate walked up to her.
“Please, I beg of you to check what’s wrong with my car, it’s just stopped and I really need to move now,” Kate said ignoring the attendant question.
“Is he okay?” the attendant asked moving to where Nate was.
“Could you just check my God damn car” Kate shouted frightening the attendant.
“Okay, fine. I am not a mechanical engineer but I know a few things about car repair. I’ll check it” the attendant replied opening the bonnet of the car.
“Please just help me check why it isn’t working. I am really in a hurry; I have to get going and I can’t hang about nor stay here, please” Kate said wiping the tears off her face.
“I’ll see what I can do,” she said touching some part of the car engine. While doing that, Kate's phone rings; she answers the call and places it close to her ear.
“Kate its Juliet, where are you and Nate? Juliet asked over the phone.
“We are stranded, is Max okay?” Kate asked
“He’s dead” Juliet replied. Her cry could be heard over the phone.
“Oh my God, but the throne, he went to destroy the throne, right?
“He went but didn’t get to it. The monster got to him first and killed him” Juliet replied sniffing from the other end.
“But that’s the last thing we need to do and be free. He won’t be able to SEANCE again. Oh my God! If Max is gone that means we are next” Kate said with a shaking voice and dropped the call. She put the phone back in her pocket while the attendant looked at her before going back to what she was doing.
“Look, can you hurry up? I really need to go now”
“Your engine got a problem and it seems to be malfunctioning. Sorry for eavesdropping on your conversation, what problems are you mixed up in? The attendant asked as Kate's eyes widened.
“Well there nothing anyone can do now, no one can help us” she replied sobbing and laughed like a possessed lady.
In the car, Max fights for air, breathing hard and slowly, his face covered in blood. He takes in his last breath waking up in another realm: THE REALM OF THE DEAD.
“NO, NO, Kate, get me out of here, get me out,” Nate shouted. Everywhere was dark and he could barely see anything.

In the human realm, Kate roughens her hair, thinking rapidly.
“I think I know what to do, let me go get my tools,” the attendant said heading to her office.
Stepping into her office, she walked straight to the office telephone table and put a call through to the nearest hospital for an ambulance.
Kate looks at the car and saw that Nate wasn’t moving. She ran to the car and opened it, she checked his pulse and he was still alive, she spoke and called out his name to wake him up but he couldn’t hear her for the realm he was in.
Back at the realm of dead souls, Nate hears his voice and looked back to see his dead mother.
“You are back son, I’ve been expecting you,” she said with a mischievous smile.
“No”
“It’s so lovely to see you again son”
“No, I need to wake up; I need to go back, I can’t stay here,” he said shaking his head.
“Don’t you want to see me, again?”
“I do mum but am not here to stay”
“Your soul belongs to him now son. You gave it to him when you passed over, it’s his now, surrender to him” she said smiling.
“No mum, I only wanted to see you, am not ready to die” he replied
“That’s not your decision anymore, we will all have to surrender at some point. Now is yours” she replied closing the gap between them and stabbed him.
Nate coughed out blood in the human realm bowing down his head, dead.
His mother changed to a demon, it was actually the demon that had taken the appearance of his mother.
“Welcome to the underworld” he laughed devilishly.
Kate came out and called the attendant to hurry up, she entered the car and checked Nate pulse again.
“Oh no!” she exclaimed checking his pulse the third time.
He was cold as ice. She shoke him crying and pleading for him to wake up but he didn’t, he was dead. She laid him at the back of the car covering him with a blanket.
“Rest in peace,” she said stepping out of the car.
“Help me please” she shouted moving to the office the attendant entered earlier.
“Help, please”
She stopped half-way as a black figure passed her with an unimaginable speed. She looked back and didn’t see anything, it moved past her again and she looked back seeing nothing. Fear gripped her as she knew what it was.
It passed her and she looked up at her front, where it passed. Her eyes widened at the thing in front of her.
It was what has been chasing them ever since they came back from the ritual they did to see their love ones.
Before she was a figure, it appeared not to be a human but looked human. Its skeleton face was masked with red eyes; it looked like it had no life in it and as something that crawled out from the darkest part in the pit of hell. Clothed in a black robe, its red eyes shone menacingly.
“What are you?” she asked
“I am THANATOS” he answered with a spooky voice and stabbed her with the long sharp, curved knife he held.
The attendant who was on the phone conversing with the hospital ambulance attendant saw the scene but couldn’t see THANATOS, so she thought Kate stabbed herself.
“You have to get here right now, she just stabbed herself” she shouted on the phone, cut the call and rushed to where Kate was with her hands on the stomach where she was stabbed. She held her tummy, coughing out blood.
“Stay with me miss” the attendant urged her blocking her stomach with cloths to reduce the blood that oozed out. Kate's vision was blurry and she was struggling hard to breathe. Bending her head, she closed her eyes waking up in the dark realm.

“NO!” she exclaimed shaking her head vigorously.
She turned back and there stood the demon that stabbed her. She shoke her head as the demon ran towards her and stabbed her to death.

In the human realm, the attendant shakes and checks her pulse only to find out she was dead.
She couldn’t bear the whole scenario anymore; she stood up and ran out of the building.

Oh my God, it’s my first day at school and I have gotten myself in trouble.
I was taken to the disciplinary office for questioning and judgment. The panel consisted of mostly women. They didn’t give me a chance to explain myself, I only apologized for causing trouble, excluding why I caused the pandoneum even when I was asked later by one of the men.
“I will deal with that idiot myself” I said
“Go home and reflect on what you did today, regardless of the cause you should have respected the minister” the disciplinary words kept ringing in my head.
After pleading and apologizing I was allowed to go to my class.
As I stepped out, all eyes was on me as expected, they wanted to know the silly bitch that caused a pandoneum in the school.
I silently walked to my locker as the stare got worse. I opened my locker and kept my books in it, shutting it thereafter. two girls passed by me and one was telling the other I was the bitch that caused the problem, today was not a good day at all. I felt like disappearing to where that idiot of a guy is and strangle him to death.
I looked up and saw my friends walking up to me. I smiled; at least they are the only ones I got that can cheer me up in this silly situation I got myself into.
“Stop standing like that, you look like the statue of liberty” Paul said, while I let out a smile.
The dude knew how to cheer me up with his unending jokes and silly interpretation of words.
“Are we going to keep standing here or are we going to the cafeteria? Am hungry and I don’t know about you guys” said Tonia

“So the A4 are the most senior in the school, they consists of four good friends namely; Max, Joe, Leo and Eric who happen to be their leader”

They won for the school, international and national awards for the school, in competitions, they are highly respected and even the Principal and the teachers respect them.
Max is a science student, studying medicine and surgery. Joe is also a science student, studying microbiology. He is working on a project that could change the world.
“And what’s that” Tonia asked, she was definitely curious
It’s a project that if it works out, it can make one powerful as a god, with just a dose of an injection.

Eric is next, and the leader of the group, he is a commercial student and knows how to do business. He already has his business and firm apart from the one he is going to inherit from his parent.

Amy
It was a beautiful bright morning as I opened the curtain and smelt the fresh air coming inside through the window. I was really excited that I woke up before my alarm did, because I was going to be attending the most prestigious university in the country. I was overjoyed when I saw my result, I passed my entire subject and I received a call that I was given a scholarship to further my education in the school of my dream to study my dream course
“Food and nutrition”
My parents were very happy and they prepared a small party to celebrate the good news. They were not rich but we were able to carter for ourselves.
My mum cooked food which I supplied to people who ordered it and dad worked as a laborer in a company not far from our house. I went to the bathroom to take my bath, after I applied cream on my body, spraying perfume on my cloth.
“Amy you’re running late”
“Coming mum” that’s my mum, she’s the best thing that has happened to me.
I applied my makeup and went downstairs to take my breakfast. Few minutes I was done and I boarded a bus to the school. I entered into the school compound and I was really nervous. This is my first time here; I only saw the school on TV.
I was hearing my name being called; I looked back and saw my classmate Paul, who we attended college together running towards me. He stopped by my side panting.
“Why is this pretty damsel standing like someone who’s been electrocuted?”
I let out a smile, he hadn’t change a bit, just the same old funny guy

We got to our department and entered the class. The class was well maintained, painted with white and chairs enough for five hundred students, it was really a prestigious university.
As I was admiring the class, a voice echoed through the speaker that the minister for education was going to arrive soon to the school and we should co-operate.
Students continued talking and gisting with each other, guys were collecting girl’s bbm pin and phone number.
We got ourselves a sit at the front, just as we had settled down, we saw student shouting and heading outside the class. I looked at my friends and they gave me a “let’s go check what’s happening look.”
We went outside, and to our surprise we saw student’s looking down.
“Oh my God, they are here, the A4 are here” a girl shouted as we got to the scene
“Who are A4?” I asked no one in particular, and I got no reply.
I left my friends going down to get a glimpse on the scene. I saw four guys walking in, they must be the A4.
They were tall, handsome and wore expensive clothes; their parents must be very rich.
There was one of the guys; he had a mean look and had a pineapple hairstyle, he must be their leader; he looked rough and mean. He wore a red t-shirt and blue jeans matching the red shoes he wore.
While I was still looking I was pushed by the crowd that was running to see them and my phone fell down sliding forward.
I crawled forward towards my phone as people kicked the phone forward. I heard my friends calling my name but I didn’t bother to reply because I had to pick my phone. As I wanted to pick the phone, a leg stepped on the phone breaking the phone screen in the process, the person wore a red shoe.
I stood up picking up my phone as I stared at it. The phone was given to me by mum on the occasion of my birthday, I so muched cherished the phone and have been broken by a bastard who couldn’t watch where he/she was going.
My friends met up with me and I explained to them showing them the broken phone. I was thinking who wore a red shoe, I gasped as I remembered; it was the guy with the pineapple hair.
“Shit!!! I exclaimed
I left my friends as I chased him, pushing the crowed to get to him but the crowd was too much. My friends followed me shouting my name to stop, but i couldn’t; I had to catch that motherfucker.
I passed a shortcut to block him in the front, but I still saw the crowed blocking me.
“Who in the devils name are they?” That everyone was following them and even taking picture and videos of them.
“Are they the president sons or maybe the minister’s sons?” I asked myself
I eventually managed to get through the crowed and I held him.
“Hey, how dare you?” I asked as I held his hand, turning him to face me.
He faced me and it was the Minister of Education.
“Oh my God” I looked at his shoes and saw it was not him; the minister wore a black shoe.
I looked back and saw the motherfucker going with his friends. I gasped as the minister body guards held me pinning me to the floor.
“Oh no, no my first day at school”

“Don’t tell me you aren’t competent enough to handle such a small case. Just a simple kidnap case, you went there and messed up. Why are you guys behaving like a new recruited officer? Tell me.

After Jane had explained a few things of what happened, not telling Jax most of it. He turned as he was surprised his girlfriend has changed.
“Jane, just tell me why you suddenly turned into a criminal” Jax asked facing Jane as she bent her head low.
The rest; Jay, Kyra and Sam sat down watching.

Valerie, who had been going to the station to check on her brother, was always denied to see him, and the detectives always gave unreasonable excuses on why she couldn’t be allowed to see her brother, not telling her the truth of her brother where about.
When she couldn’t take it anymore, she went to see Jane uncle at his house and narrated what had transpired right from when her brother was arrested to the present moment in which they didn’t allow her to see her brother.
Jane uncle assured her that h will get to the root of the situation and find a possible solution to it.
*Back at Jane hideout*
They packed their bags in the boot of the car and entered as Sam put the car in motion, increasing the velocity of the car. While going they came to a checkpoint and Sam pressed the brakes stopping the car.
“Good evening officers” Sam greeted
“Good evening, where are you guys heading to buy this time of the night?” one of the police asked
“We are heading to town”
“Okay, let me check your car boot”
“Okay officer” Sam replied as the police left to check their car boot.
Another officer approached the car, pointing his torch light to see their faces, while doing that, his eyes caught the gun beside Sam.
“There is a Gun” the officer shouted but it was too late as Sam put the car in acceleration increasing the speed as the police jumped so as not to get hit be the car.
“That was close, they almost got us” Jane said as soon as they had gone far from the police.
“But they didn’t” said Sam as he continued driving.

Jane upon getting to their destination explained everything to Jax as he listened,

“But that shouldn’t warrant you to behave like this. What is your proof that it’s your mum that sent those guys to beat and injure me that day?” Jax asked

Jane was in her room sleeping when she heard a knock on her door, she stood up moving to the door to open it, probably it’s her mum knocking. “Woman, I thought you said there isn’t any money in this house” the guy who appeared to be the leader asked Jane mum.
“Yes there isn’t any money” Jane mum answered as Jane nodded her head in agreement with her mum.
“Wow this chick am seeing her is worth more than 1 million” the other guy covered with mask commented
“You are right” the leader said jumping on the bed and drawled Jane to him as he parted her leg.
“Please sir, in God name, please don’t do this” Jane pleaded, but her words fell on deaf ears as the leader brought out his erected dick and forcefully entered her as she screamed in pain.
He didn’t let the pain she’s feeling subside as he thrust in and out of her like a demon possessed man while she continued screaming in pain in which he used his to block her mouth.
After a while he cummed in her, but Jane bit him in his hand and he slapped her, he then brought out his dick and wore his cloth as he left with his partner, leaving Jane and her mum who watched the scene with a smile on her face which quickly disappeared when the leader was through.
Jane kept weeping while her mum consoled her.

Jax heaved a sigh as Jane narrated it to him
“But still that’s not enough for you to start misbehaving, I didn’t say what they did to you was good but you couldn’t have done what you did” said Jax as her adjusted from his seat.
“Jax, with what you heard, do you still love me?” Jane asked
Jax looked at her surprised; he never expected the question because he loved her sincerely.
“Jane I love you from my heart, whatever happened to you is in the past”
Jane turns and looked at him surprised.
“I love you Jane” said Jax

“Detective, if you continue to ask me this question is the same answer I will give you. I don’t know anything about Jane’s where about, I don’t know how she got kidnapped, I don’t know who kidnapped her, I don’t know anything, if I saw her would I now be lying. If this case comes to a case of death, I prefer to die, so that I know I die saying the truth.”

Jane’s mum sat down in her sitting room, she called her cook and gave her money stating the food item she would buy as a called entered. It was a Jane number showing on the phone screen, and didn’t hesitate before picking the call.

“JANE!!” her mum exclaimed

Mrs. Jane sat down narrating the event to the D.P.O
“That’s what happened”

“D.P.O, it’s her voice, how won’t I know my daughter voice. She was the one talking to me before the phone was dragged from her hand, and they made it clear to me that unless I come with Jax my daughter won’t be released Jane” Mrs. Jane answered.
“It’s rather confusing, let me accept it was your daughter voice. But why would they want Jax to be released. What is Jax connection with the kidnappers” the D.P.O asked
“I don’t know”
“But don’t you think you had done a transaction with someone before and there was a problem, and now the person is trying to use your daughter to set you up” the D.P.O asked
“No, there hasn’t been a case like that” Mrs. Jane answered
“Don’t worry, I would assign some of my boys, they would follow you there”
“NO, D.P.O. The made it clear that if I involve the police, they would submit my daughter body to me “DEAD” for marking” Mrs. Jane pleaded
“Don’t worry my boys are competent”

The next day, Mrs. Jane droved Jax and the two detectives assigned to her to a parking lot, a bit close to the location given to her, as they alighted form the car.
The smart looking detectives told her they knew what to do, and she should be calm as she moved slowly with Jax following her closely to the exact location.
As they were going, they came across an old woman who was weeding the bush and they greeted her. Unknown to them it was Kyra, who disguised herself as the old woman.
The detectives followed suit, they stopped when they saw the old woman and the two detectives glanced at each other and proceeded without greeting the woman.
They stared at her suspiciously as they proceeded further. When Kyra saw they were out of sight, she quickly ran into the bush, dipped her hand into her gown bringing out her phone as she immediately dialed Sam number, which he picked immediately.
“Hello”
“Hello guys, the woman is coming with Jane boyfriend, but the careful because I saw to detectives following them with a considerate gap” Kyra explained
“Are you sure” Sam asked
“Yes and they are with guns. Be alert, careful and also be smart”
“Okay, we got it” Sam said ending the call
“What happened” Jay asked after Sam had ended the call
“She said they are with two detectives”

Mrs. Jane and Jax got to the location given to them and they stopped observing the environment.
“This is the place they told me to meet them” Mrs. Jane said

As Mrs. Jane brought out her phone to call the kidnappers, Jax looked back only to see Jane coming out from the bush.
“Jane!!” Jax exclaimed
“Jane, are you okay, are you injured, hope they didn’t touch you” Mrs. Jane asked touching Jane all over to see if truly she was okay.
“Am fine mum” Jane assured her mum
Jax turned and saw two figures running towards them and he flinched
“Don’t be sacred, it’s us, and we have to leave” the detective said calming Jax down.
“Let’s go before the kidnappers show up” Jax concluded moving forward.
As they turned to leave, Sam and Jay appeared from their back, collecting the detective’s weapon while pointing the gun at them.
“Lie down” Jay shouted
“Lie down or I blow off your fucking heads” Sam commanded as they took Jane and Jax into the bush to their hideout, leaving behind the defenseless detectives and Jane mother who prayed silently as hot urine flowed down from her gown.

EPISODE 1 AND 2

EPISODE 1
JANE sat down on her bed smoking the Benson cigarette she bought; after smoking the second wrap, she dropped the cigarette and started shedding tears while she continued smoking.
Her name is Jane, her parent died when she was a little kid; and her step mother trained her. When she was 16 years old, she was sent to the United States to further her education after finishing her secondary school education here.
She loved her boyfriend Jax who she promised to come back for after completing her education.
She kept herself and her virginity, despite all the temptation of having sex and the sexual embarrassment she received from her class mate over there.
She just came back from the states after graduating for the university which she studied mass communication, and reunited with her lover Jax.
She remembered as they were first attacked on their trip to the museum in which Jax was wounded. She continued smoking and looked as the tears flowed down freely from her eyes. She cleaned the tears in her eyes and went to the sitting room to meet her friend; Kyra, Sam, jay and as they discussed about her situation.
“This is what I don’t like, how can this happen”. Kyra lamented. What do you want us to do now? She asked Jane
“All I want from you guys is your full support so that the guys that did this won’t go scot free” Jane answered
“True all sinners won’t go unpunished, but it’s a sinner we know we would punish” Sam contributed.
“You said you don’t know them, how do you want us to know them” jay asked
“It’s true I don’t know them but I know one day we would meet and I will know them”

The next day, the incident was reported to the police and they arrived at the house inspecting and questioning the gateman and other workers in the house.
“Are you the gateman” the sergeant mic asked
“Yes, I am” the gateman answered
“As your work, where did the robbers entered through when they came”
“Through the gate sir”
“Definitely you let them in” the sergeant said studying the gateman reaction
“No sir, when they came, they said there were looking for madam, and I told them to come in. as they came in they brought a gun and immediately I became gentle. They told me to lie down or I die”
The sergeant then turned to the cook who was there.
“You how many were they and who do you know in them”
“They were three Sir, and I don’t know anyone of them because they covered themselves with mask” she answered
In the house, detective Joe was asking few questions from Jane mum as she explained in detail what she experienced
“Detective they took her jewelry and her clothes but the surprising thing was that they didn’t take anything from my room” she said facing the detective
“Okay and concerning your daughter you are looking for, I have some questions to ask you”
Jane’s mum face widened
Has she been going out like that before or does she have some friends she would go with and stay in their house? The detective asked
“No, she doesn’t have any. She just arrived from the states weeks ago. It’s only her boyfriend and I think he should be arrested and interrogated”
“Okay we would need you in our station for further investigation on your daughter’s case. And concerning the extra security you requested for, I will talk to my boss about it. Thanks for your cooperation; we will be taking our leave”
“Okay, greet the D.P.O for me”

Jax sat down on the couch in his parlor thinking about his missing girlfriend. His sister Valerie; entered the parlor and saw him thinking, she shake her head in pity, it was obvious her brother was I love with Jane. She went over and sat on the chair opposite him.
“Jax, thinking or not eating will not solve the problem. I know you love her but do you want to kill yourself. You haven’t eating for the past four days; please at least eat your food. What if you get a disease and then you see Sister Jane, what will you tell her?”
Jax adjusted himself on the couch and faced his sister. She has always been there for him, advising him, though he was older than her but she was very wise.
“Valerie, you don’t know what am feeling, that’s why you are saying what you are saying. We are talking about my heart.
Jane to me is my mother, she’s my father, and she’s my everything. I just got up one day and was told she’s missing and you said I shouldn’t think about it. Said Jax, as tears gathered in his eyes.
“I may not know how you feel but don’t because of someone who isn’t dead kill yourself” said Valerie
“Jane has been a very big help to me, or didn’t you benefit from it?” Jax asked
“What if she has ran away with another man”
“She can’t………….”
He was interrupted by the knock on the door, he nodded at his sister who went and opened the door. Two men dressed in black entered introducing themselves as detectives.
“Good day detectives, how may we help you?” Jax asked
“Are you Mr. Jax?” the fair detective asked
“Yes I am” Jax answered
“You are needed at our station”
“Station, please what is my offence?”
“When you get to the station you would be told, please outside”
“Can I go with him” Valerie asked

(Isabelle POV)
This can't be happening, how can they easily want to kill their savior, after his sacrifice
"Why, he have never done anything bad" I cried
"Yes, but we are in danger, he is a demon and he can't differentiate friends from foe, look at his park members" Rolf said, he is right but their must be a way, why am I so weak, is this all I am to him, weak link.

"Fine" he said and used a force field to hold him, for Hunter this can't hold him but am not as strong as him, so I could do is sit and watch as they kill my mate.

I saw as they attack him with series of fire, he is in agony, I kept screaming for them to stop, nobody listened.
When I thought they are winning, hunter broke his bind, and sends lightening to them, causing explosions, he just broke their formation, he looked mad now, he started walking closer, I know what is coming next, I have to stop him. So I concentrated and broke the forcefield, I rushed towards him standing between jima nd Rolf.
"Hunter" I said and he stopped. "You're meant to protect life not destroy it" I said quoting beta Jacob, He bared his teeth at me, but am not scared. "Hunter you're the strongest in supernatural, you're protector of the weak, you're my king, my mate" I said taking his hands.
He first tensed up, but relaxed, with his free hand he caresses over my cheek, with my peripheral vision I saw, his raging pack calm down, its working. We stood like that looking at each others eyes, slowly the darkness started leaving him, in no time he returned to normal.

I slowly opened my eyes and took in where I am, a room, I tried to move then discovered I was tied down, I couldn't break free, am still weak, my mate, I can't feel her, is she dead. Thinking it made tears slip away, I kept weeping till I heard the door open, I looked up and saw Silas.

"You are awake" He said and came closer, "What have they done to you" he said after seeing how weak I am, I just smiled

"Funny I didn't get my revenge" he scoffed, I looked at him, he is about to say the reason why he hate Azalk.
"What happened" I asked
"As a kid, I had a friend, she was quiet the daredevil, Ivy, that was her name" he smiled "we did everything together, she was my first love, knowing that we might end up mating to another person she decided to give me her first kiss" he said and I could feel how hard it is for him.
"So one day we decided to leave the capital, and on that day the Azalk attack where we came, I lost her among the crowd, everything was a mess, even as everybody was running away, I kept looking for her, I saw her" he said and wiped his tears.
"I saw an Azalk gut her out, I was so angry I triggered my wolf, and killed the guy. When I came to her side, she just smiled and said "I love you' and that was her last word" he said already sobbing, I wish I wasn't tied, I would go console him.
"I then swore to kill them all" He said.
"You already killed enough" I said and he scoffed
"I suppose so" he said, and once again we went silent. I was tied with chains, I could easily rip it off, that's if I have my strength. After a while I fell asleep.
I jerked up when I heard a noise the door flew open and Omeh walked in, he is alright now, wearing his smirk,
"How the mighty have fallen" he said
"Have you come to gloat" I asked still tired
"Nop, just to take you to your execution ground" He said, then his men unlocked me dragged me and Jacob with them, I could barely stand. I will soon go meet my love.
They tied me up, both arms apart, I saw the royals and the alphas including Damien, I feel so sorry, for the frightened people that are force to watch, I face down since I couldn't look at them.
"Here is your savior" Adam said to the people, I tuned him off and started thinking of my love, I have no idea how after life looks likes, but I just want to be reunited with her.
"Hunter" I heard the sweetest voice called, I raise up my head and my heart bleed as I saw my mate in chains,

(Isabelle POV)
I was stab in the back, literally, when Silas came to me and said Hunter needed my help, I was happy, the rush to help him made me lost my reasoning so I started heading to the battle, told Amy to stay back and be with the people. Funny people tripped to my house when the war started, I asked Amy she said they were drawn to their queen. So I left her in charge and left, just half way gone, I felt the stab

I woke up being tied to a wall, have been out for 2 days, how happy I was when I heard we will be executed, since I got the news my mate is dead, I can go meet him. My only regret is failing the people and leaving them in the hands of evil men.
"Hunter" now am face to face with a man I thought dead, my mate, Silas said He's dead, that the stab that weakens me, made him weak making him an easy kill.
"You're alive" he said showing he was told the same lie, but he is weak, tied up, I was just chained standing opposite him. I smile, even in this situation He is handsome with powerful aura.
"Here is your King and Queen" Adam said, "they will be the first to die, no man is truly indispensable" he said smiling, I kept looking at Hunter who have his eyes on me, I wish I can connect to him, that our link wasn't down. I will tell him how much I love him and how every moment with him was worth it, how sorry I am for being the weak link.
"On a second thought, let me have her as my trophy" Omeh said and I jerked my head up, what did he mean by that.
"I need a Queen to rule my kingdom with" He said and came closer to me, pat my head and I flinched "beside she is beautiful" He said
"Alright" Adam said and I went cold, I looked at Hunter he is angry struggling to break free, but its impossible, cause whatever they did to me, stripped him of his strength.
"Do anything you want with me just don't touch her" He screamed, Omeh rushed to him and punched his stomach, making him cough.
Omeh whispered to his ear, nobody knew what he whispered, but what surprised all was Hunter started laughing, Omeh too was shocked
"You think you have seen people like me, in a world of predators, am a monster, in a the world of supernatural am the king" Hunter said and stood upright, I watch as the colour of his eyes changed to black, and the pupils glows like a hot coal. The cloud start growing darker, the wind got heavy, I start feeling my strength returns, he is getting his strength back.
"This is not possible" Matthew said taking a step back, the Hunter pack, that are in chains, started screaming, they are about to turn, they were all weak because of Hunter, but with his new found strength they are regaining theirs.
"Thought you said you've stripped him of his powers" Omeh said with much fear.
"Yes, I have, he is suppose to be powerless" Matthew answered
"That seems to be wrong" Adam said with calmness.
"How is this possible" Matthew asked
"Am a Demon Hybrid" Hunter screamed tearing the chains and his body started changing, a dark aura surrounded him, I can feel his anger and coldness, its solder than his vampire self, he is really a demon. He changed completely to his demon form, He is black now, with face of a wolf but still standing upright, his nails are out, there are red markings on his body. The sky is now raging with lightning.
"Run" I heard Amy said and dragged me with her, I easily tore the chains off me, I stopped her. with my strength back so is my confidence.
"Take the people out of danger, the transformed and angry Hunter pack members are already tearing Azalk group to shreds, but with their rage coming from their alpha they don't know friends from enemy.
"What of you" She asked
"I will see what to do, free the royals too, they are all weak, I think Matthew did something to them" I said and she went to do as I said.
I wonder why I don't feel the rage, am angry I know but I didn't go berserk, its a good thing then I have the chance to stop them, but first I will leave him deal with the 3.
"Are you afraid" Adam said to Omeh, who still haven't change to his wolf form
"If you have seen him in action, you will" Matthew was the one to answer.
"Now I will" Adam said and rushed towards Hunter, but was stopped, hunter ripped his heads off, I felt like puking, he roared, so loud, the whole supernatural got powered down, except the Hunter park, they still look menacing, they continued killing the Azalk.
Matthew threw him fire, but it didn't reach, like there is a force field protecting him, Hunter kept walking closer, unaffected, as he reached Matthew, he dragged his hand inside Matthews chest and tore out his heart, Matthew fall dead instantly.
Omeh left powerless fell on his knee, "am sorry, it wasn't my fault, I was dragged into this, I was just a wolf with ambition, I meant them so I thought we were the same cause they had ambition" He is looking like a pub now "they told me their plans, I refused, I was forced, Matthew killed our mates and summon their soul into us, making us demons" he is already crying "the demon now turned me bad, please have mercy oh king" he cried out, I pity him, he was a victim, I can't imagine the pain, hunter held him by the neck and drag him up, please stop I muttered.
He brought him closer and bit him "No" I screamed he kept sucking till Omeh died and he ripped his head off. I remember he can't stop once he start.
"There is no coming back, we have to stop him for our own good" I hear Rolf said, I turned and saw lots of Wizard in battle formation.
"What do you mean" I asked
"We have to kill him" he said and I went cold.

EPISODE 15-16
Chapter 15
(Hunter's POV)
If I say am not scared then I'd be lying, showing her this part of me wasn't easy but she needed to see it, to know me more and know its because of her I no longer crave blood and keep my thirst at bay.
"Your silence is killing me" I said, she looked at me and blink twice, she raised her hands and caresses over my cheek,
"You're my beautiful monster" she said with a genuine smile, thank whoever made her my mate,
"You forgive my atrocities" I said almost move to tears.
"Yes, it doesn't matter, its all past what matter most is you regret it and you changed, no longer a monster" she said and I smile
"Its always there, the vampire gene I mean, so that makes me a monster" I said, she smiled and caresses over my cheek
"That's why am here" she said and I smiled, Yea she keeps my monster at bay.
"If I remember correctly, we we're doing something before we were rudely interrupted" I said, tapping more to my naughty side, it earned me a giggle from her.
"Catch me and then we might continue it" she said and took off, I smiled. As the king am suppose to have an urgent meeting with my subject about the situation at hand, my fear of a strong rival, using dark magic that cloak them from my powers. Yes as a good King that's what I should do, but right now am no king, am just a corny mate running his mate and there's not I would rather do than run after her.
(Unknown POV)
I have given them all the information I could gather, and they were happy, it made me feel good about myself,
"So his powers didn't affect our men" Omen asked with a smirk I just gave him a nod
"Everything is going as plan" Adam said taking a sip from the goblet which is blood I suppose.

"You are dismissed, keep what you're doing" Omen said and I left their chamber, supernatural world and am among the people bringing about the change.
"Am around of you son" I heard my father said, he work under the leader of witches, but in true he is a mule, he also have his role at watching over the leaders and report to the Azalk, we also have spy in both the royal vampire and royal wolf.
"Am glad dad" I said, and gave him a bow " am leaving I have appointment with my friends" its better I don't do things that make them suspect me, he gave me a nod and I left.
(Hunter's POV)
My joy was half lived cause the royal decided to call the urgent meeting, and regardless of how reluctant I was Isabelle asked me to go meet them, that she have to spend sometimes with her friends. So am now with the royals and I miss her.
"We have did everything possible to get information from the rogue, but he didn't speak till the end" the witch man said, I don't know his name but I think he is the one that tortures people
"So he is dead" Rolf said, and the guy gave him a nod
"As it is, we should fortify our security and bear in mind that we dealing with a strong group" king Herbert said, looking at me now you will think am deep in thought, but actually am thinking of my mate, give me a break I have waited for 700 years.
"Yea, it send chills down my spine when I think that even Hunter can't control them, that means whoever their leader is, he is sure strong" King Lander said, and its quiet true, maybe their is a monster like me after. Thinking of monster made me the darkness in me once again, the darkness that took over me on the day of my parents death, till date I have never felt that darkness till date.
"So Hunter, what do you think" Jacob asked, I always go with him to every meeting, normally it should be his father, but am closer to Jacob than him
"Good, they should all carry out with the plan. So if that's all then the meeting is over" I said, since I rather be somewhere else. Am happy once again for the unity as I saw King Landers telling King Herbert joke about Rolf making them both laugh and Rolf squeezed his face.
"Its Azalk you know" Jacob said being so sure, I don't know why he hate them so much,
"Maybe" I answered, and he just scoffed, I would love to seat and chat him up, but duty calls
"Am still with Amy, we are having girls night" I got a link message from my mate, and just like that, my dreams was shattered
"What!" I roared, Jacob whimpered, I tried sending message back to her, but she already blocked me, so no sending naughty image, I made a move to go but I stopped myself, she really need the time. So I guess I have to spend time with Jacob.

Chapter 16
(Hunter's POV)
I work up with a loud boom sound, immediately I knew its terrorist attack, its earlier than I planned, I rushed outside, everywhere is already messed up with people running around, my first automatic reaction was to link with my mate.
"Isabelle, where are you" I ask hoping she is open
"At home with Amy, I heard the sound" she replied and it was a relief.
"Stay with her, don't leave I will have to go check things out" I said.
"Alright, be careful" she replied and I zoom off, I already know they use a magical barrier so my Roar doesn't work on them, even my psychic powers so I just have to rip them to shreds.
On getting there the Royals are here, its really an all out battle, and they have the advantage, since they are prepared and they everything about us I suppose, we know nothing about them. I have a bad feeling about this I hope am strong enough to fend them off. I engaged in the battles, it was pretty easy to draw attention to myself, I was ripping their heads off, the royals made sure to ask the warriors to protect the citizens instead, so few of us are fighting them off, with me and the royals it seem easy, Jacob is here too, my man.
Its a tough battle but it looks we are winning, it made a smirk appear on my face, I continued fighting, they all stopped attacking, they just moved back, we too stopped attacking and for the moment everything seem quiet.
"Is this the calm before the storm" I muttered, still confused, then I started hearing a clap, I look and saw Omen and Matthew walking out, my face went pale, I can recognize them cause their image is encrypted in our history book.
"I expect nothing less from the king" Omeh said with a mockery bow, Jacob rushed towards them but Matthew blew him away, he should have known better than attack,
"How about you let the people watch and bear witness to how strong men fight" Omeh said to me, the nerves
"Strong you say, strong men don't bully the weak" I said, he have no right to call himself strong.
"Be at as it may, fight us in other to reduce casualties" he said, I wonder where Adam is, no matter how I look at it they are buying time or trying to deceive me from knowing their real purpose. But if I don't fight them they can easily kill everyone, so I have no option.
"I accept" I said, "be careful and alert something is up" I passed the message to Lander, Rolf and Herbert. They gave me a nod.
"Perfect" Omeh said and dashed towards, I rushed towards him, siezed him by the neck and smashed him to the ground, that moment I notice Matthew throw the flame at me, I put up a force field, but the impact moved me back. Am about to face my strongest opponent but my worries are about Isabelle.
"You fighting the both of us" Matthew said,
"Makes no difference" I said just to irk him, the lunged at me, I keep evading because they gave me no room to attack, high order wizard are elemental, that is fire, water, air and earth, now Matthew is enhanced high order with a demon soul, and Omeh have a demon soul, now you know why am having difficult time.
"Is this all you got" Omeh said with a smirk, making me draw him closer telekinesis and delivered a powerful punch that threw him back, using the shock in Matthew face I rush close to him, disadvantages of witches they are not fast, I also gave him a punch, that is enough to knock them unconscious. I heard my peoples cheers, I won, I took a step back but stopped cause I heard Omeh giggles.
"Not bad, now time to show you the demon in us" Omeh said and started turning black, he's transforming to the demon wolf, this is bad, as if that's not enough, the cloud grew darker, and Matthew stood up his eyes totally dark, he is trying to make a thunderstorm, things are getting bad, I saw the first lightning coming down towards Jacob, I pushed him back saying him,
"Everybody clear, witch try and create a force field to keep it from spreading" I yelled at Rolf and he moved his people to position.
"Its been long I let loose" Omeh said and dashed at me, he is faster than before, given me very little time to react, this is a pain in the ass, I got more serious, using my forcefield I could defend myself from Matthew lightning. If these two are this difficult, what if Adam was here.
After fighting for a while with no one having the upper hand, I decided to use more magic than strength, I looks up the sky and struggled with Matthew to control the sky which I won, I rain down thunderstorm on them, with Matthew trying to gain back control, I use the opportunity to attack Omeh.
I was faster so I kept beating him, I delivered enough face to get him blood, as Matthew got back in control of the sky, I rushed towards him, I saw him went pale seeing I now have the upper hand and Omeh is out cold he froze. I know raise my hand to smite him with lightning, finally I won.
As I was about to strike I felt a stab, I staggered, something is wrong, I feel my energy as it runs own, my heart pains. I remembered the day my parents died, the pain my mother felt because of my fathers death. And the face of my world appeared to me, something is wrong with her, I tried to move and go to her but I lost balance and fell, in my blurry vision I saw Jacob fall, all park feels weak when something happens to the Alpha. My Isabelle, my love, with that, I lost conscious and fell into the dark abyss

EPISODE 13-14
Chapter 13
(Isabelle POV)
We are now going to the borders, we were about to do the deed when he got the sensations, trespassers, we are both going to check it out, I can feel the fear of the people at the borders, so this is what it means to be the ruler, we serve as protector.
"Don't get yourself dirty" hunter send me a link message, he is running ahead of me and I still think its not his best.
"By dirty you mean killing" I asked, and he said yes, I also don't plan to, I hope there will be more diplomatic way to handle things.
"We are here" he said and we stopped, I can already smell the blood,
"Something is wrong" he said, am just waiting on him to roar like he did the first time, but he is not, I saw, some of my class mate, its really chaotic.
"Roar Hunter" I said in case he forgot.
"It won't affect them, they are using dark magic" he said and with that he took off, I was dumbfounded with his speed, before my eyes could catch him, countless head is already ripped.
"What monstrosity" He growled and they all charged at him giving our own people time to escape, I wonder why people are in this deserted place.
I would've move to help him but he was handling things alright, so no need. I then decide to help the injured.
I went down to lead them out of harms way, "all of you come this way" they all came to me, the injured was being attended to, I see to things being done right.
"Why are you guys here" I asked Melissa, not that I want to speak to her but I needed the answer.
"We often come here to party, its spacious and no disturbance" she said, and truthfully, its all young people, nobody is older than 30 here.
"That's dangerous" I said, and she turned toward me with much hatred.
"Its fun, well that's something a weak human won't understand" she said and her words affected me "look at him" she said looking at Hunter with much admiration as he handles the rogue so well "if I was his mate, I will be there with him, but since a weak human like you is his mate, you can't" she said.
"He asked me to to get myself dirty" I was forced to defend myself. And she laughed.
"That's because you are a leech, you suck power from him and gives him nothing in return, so you engaging in the battle will make him weak since you have to use his strength" she said and I feel my eyes sting with tears, she is right, I am weak, Melissa feeling its her victory left me with a scoff. I stood as I watch hunter kill the whole rogue, leaving only one alive. He is bloodied, he is really the king of supernatural and am nothing.
"Its not true" I heard his voice in my mind.
"What's not true" I asked, still in agony.
"What she said" he said then turned to me, he is like 10 feet away from me, but it feels like a million miles, he is someone I can't reach. The people he saved all went to thank him, he still had his eyes on me.
"You can leave now, we will take care of the rest" I heard Jacob said behind me, I turned to him and he gave me a warm smile, I needed it, I gave him a nod and left. I took off as fast as I can, am such a failure.
"This is far enough" I heard before I could register what I just heard, I was stopped by Hunter. I looked around and we are in the woods, wow, how quickly I got here.
"Why did you run away" He asked.
"It turns out you never needed me" I said, being angry, at who? I don't know.
"Why would you think that" he asked "is it because of what that wench said" he said before I could answer. I just nodded.
"Am a human, I hear since you drive no strength, am now a leech, and as such making you weak" I said quietly, facingbthe ground. He raise my face up and believe me his touch is still heaven making me close my eyes for a bit as I took a deep breath.
"I have enough strength to power a whole nation, so powering the both of us is nothing, am a witch, a wolf and a vampire, am the most powerful" he said and I love him for that.
"I know, but I feel so bad that I give you nothing" I said and she scoffed.
"Nothing you say" he walked like 3 feet away "you have seen my witch ability, my wolf form" he took a deep breath "but you have never seen my vampire side" he said and I felt a chill, the chill came from him, it was coldness, am feeling what he is feeling

"Before I close the human world, just before I went to slumber I did the unthinkable" he said and I can feel the hurt in his voice.
"How do you mean" I asked with my voice coming out as a dry
"As you know, vampire live on blood, for centuries, they use human as blood bag, forcefully, but now they use animal many still use humans though but no longer kill human like before" he scoffed.
"Yea, all this became possible because of you" I said remembering what Damien said before the Azalk attack. He laughed
"Vampire crave for blood, as a hybrid mine is much more" he said.
"I have not seen or hear you suck or attack anyone" I said as a matter of fact.
"Yea, that's because of you, you are the calm to my storm, that the strength I draw in you" he came closer "so don't let people fool you" he said and I could feel his honesty, but then again the honesty may be because of the mate bond.
"Its because of your self control" I said, and that's the truth, he laugh
"It seems we have to take a trip to the darkest part of me" he said and caresses over my cheek "I hope it changes nothing" he said and gave me the warmest smile, its so contagious I had to smile back, with that he invaded my thought and just with a blink am in another place, everywhere is dark, its night.
"Where are we" I asked
"This is the memory of my last visit to human realm" he said holding my hands and I looked around. With my sharp hearing, I heard a distinctive noise from distance, I heard, shout and crying of women, I think people there need my help, I ran towards the noise locked hands with hunter though its his memory I know he is letting me do what I like.
"What's all this" I said as we got there, I saw dead bodies, women, children men, all ripped apart, it was an appalling sight, I hid my face from most of them.
"What would've caused this" I said, already wiping
"Not what, who" Hunter said, and just that moment he allowed me feel the deadly aura here, and then I could feel and smell all the dead bodies, this is a village and the whole village is dead.
I went pale as I realize who did it, I can still feel his deadly aura and its horrifying
"Hunter, its you" I said, then just that moment, another came out from the darkness, soaked in blood, this is the hunter that did this, this is the cold blooded vampire hunter, he is a monster.
"Why" I asked with tears
"Like I said, my craving is worst, and with a bite I will be blinded by a frenzy and I just couldn't stop, 1 turn to 10, ten turns to hundred, hundred became a whole village"he said with sadness, as much as I feel his sadness, I still see the monster in him.
"What have you done Hunter" I heard a voice, I turn and saw Jacob, I easily knew it was beta Jacob, Jacob grandfather. He was here with a group of people
"We have to stop the alpha" he said to the guys he came with
"That's impossible beta, our strength even come from him" one of the guys said
"I know, the more reason we have to bring him back to his usual self" Beta Jacob said, what a man of courage I thought to myself.
"Attack" he ordered and the all lunged at Hunter he easily beat them down, but for some reason didn't kill, he jut wanted to leave here and go to the next village, they kept attacking stopping him from going further, they were brave men.
When Hunter got bored of their attack he rendered them immovable, everybody was stuck, for the first time and with the motion that Silas said someone should not be this strong.
"Come on Hunter, open your eyes" Beta Jacob kept trying to move, blood started coming from his eyes, ears, nose
"Come on, make it stop" I cried out
"Its a memory, I can't" Hunter said, I kept watching as Beta Jacob is about to bleed to death.
"You're meant to protect life, not destroy it" beta Jacob said, with that he fell, I think he lost his whole strength, but before he could hit the floor, Hunter caught him.
"What have I done" he said and I feel the cold and killing intent disperse, he is back to his usual self, he released his men from their state, he looked around and saw the massacre of his own making.
"What have I done" he cried
"All is well as long as you're back" Beta Jacob said, opening his eyes. With that Hunter brought me out of the memory
"This is what I will be, if I don't have you in my life" Hunter said with all earnesty
But am really in delimma, is it who he will become without me or who he really is, cause being with me doesn't make his vampire gene disappear, he is and always will be vampire. Can I put up with this monster

EPISODE 11-12
Chapter 11
(Hunter pov)
Gathering with all the Alpha, Royals, and Witch leader sure have some tension, I surmoned them to discuss why I can't sense the vampire or hear their thought. The meeting didn't help much since non of them knew why I couldn't hear their thought but they were all aware of the scent covering perfume.
"I think I figured something out" Rolf the wizard king said, He is really a wise man, I think all wizard are, I wonder if he knew my grandfather.
"And whats that" King Herbert the vampire, I always see him as proud fellow always eager to show his authority
"Like royals we can only read a mind of a pack member if the Alpha let us" King Rolf said
"But hunter is different, he don't need excuse to read anybodies mind" King of the wolf Lander said
"True thats why maybe the vampires he killed have their alligence to a strong pack that even Hunter need excuse from their Alpha or leader to read their mind" Rolf said.
It might actually be true, that the vampires are with a powerful group that even I cant break their barrier but which park or group is that powerful
"The only people that powerful are the Azalk but that is if their leaders are alive, but the last I check they're dead" Lander said
Maybe its true but someone powerful is now alive, maybe more powerful than me, that's bad news if the person is bad and judging from the actions of his/her followers I can say the person is bad. We have a real situation here.
"Well lets go home and fortify ourselves probably they might be a dangerous group maybe more than he Azalk or still the Azalk and their leaders have return, lets just be ready" I said and they all agreed and left.
"All is going to fine" Jacob said, he helped handle the reporters situation, by promising them I will personally come for the interview
"I hope so" I said, I left the world in peace now am back for my mate and war is about to erupt, I just hope it doesn't divide the world again
"With this new group, don't you think its best you mark your mate so she will be able to use her full powers and protect herself when you are not around" Jacob said and that is really a good suggestion, but will she survive the marking
"You are right, but will she survive the marking?" I asked him, I bet am now looking like a baby that lost his toy
"Of course, if she can't survive it she wouldn't have been your mate" Jacob said as a matter of fact, to which I just nod
So first thing tomorrow I will tell her about it and ask her parents permission, though its just for formalty sake cause the only permission I need is my sweet Isabelle. I was lost in thought I didnt even know when Jacob left, as I look around nobody is in sight, I came outside looked at the crescent moon and its beautiful so I decided to take a walk.

I tried sleeping but couldn't, I kept wishing for Hunter to be by my side after many turning I decided to open my window to feel the night breeze and voila there in the sky is the beautiful crescent moon and it mesmerized me
"Hello" I heard the voice of the most handsome man I know, Hunter, and I looked down and he was standing in all his glory
"hi" I responded with a huge grin, we kept smiling at each other "I thought you couldn't make it tonight" I asked still will a smile
"Yea, but the meeting finished early so I decided to take a walk" he looks back the road he came from "then my legs brought me here unconsciously" he said, he don't know how happy he just made me
"You just made me a very happy girl" I said truthfully, and with a leap he is in my window I moved back and he entered, he parted his mouth to say something but I lost control of myself and started kissing him, he was surprised at first so it took him a few seconds for him to reciprocate, and this is what I have been missing.
After a serious make out session we were both lying on bed cuddling
"Mark me" I said out of the blues, I noticed how his breath sucked, that shows he is doubting my strength

"we agree" they both said, agreed to what I wondered but before I could ask what. Hunter stood up walked up to me took my hands and led me back upstairs to my room, am getting more confused,
"Whats wrong?" I asked as calmly as I can
"They have agreed to let me mark you" he said calmly too, am happy they did but now am worried about the pain
"First I have to take your blood by biting your neck" he chuckle as he saw the look on my face "don't worry its not bad, when I take the blood thats like your soul coming inside me then I will be able to feel everything you feel and your thought too" he said the last part happily. I know he have always wanted to hear my thought, he never had to cause he is pretty good at guessing them.
"Then after that I take yours right?" I asked though I know he have also explained the process to me
"right" he said, needing no more explanation i moved closer to him tilted my neck to the side to give him free access and braced myself for the pain to come.
He gentle kissed my neck and I felt the pang, it was painful at first but before I could fully register the pain it turns to the highest pleasure I ever felt, he hugged me closer as I also grabbed his head, I don't want it to stop even if he suck me dried, but to my dismay I felt him removed his fang and kissed it again.

He bit open his wrist and blood sipped out, the sight of blood still sickens me but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do, he chuckles, he heard that, am so gonna block you when I first get the powers with that I brought the wrist to my mouth and sucked it, I felt it ran down my veins and moved to all my body, it gives me tingles as they move throughout my body, and as I felt it reach my heart I felt pain, heard screams, collection of thoughts I can't quite figure, but what I felt most is the pain, it was beyond anything, I screamed and saw black.
Chapter 12
(Hunters pov)
I caught her before she hit the floor, I knew this would happen I told her parents about it and the doctor was ready when I came out to tell me she is passed out.
"She is lying on the bed" I said as I stepped in the living room, I could see the worry edge on the faces of her parents, but no need for that cause I know she is ok, cause I feel her now more than ever, but no need telling them cause it won't help their situation, they will only be fine when she wakes up
"k let me go check on her" the doctor they called went up to the room, I would have gone all alpha if the doctor was a man, but luckily she's a cool lady, so I sat down and didn't bother to keep up a conversation with the Kings since all of us are deep in thought.
"she is fine" said the doctor when she came down "she just fainted because she was overwhelmed by the power" she confirmed and Isabelle's parents exhaled, it seems I was mistaken thinking the news won't help their situation
"so when will she be waking up" Her mom asked
"couple of hours probably evening or so" the doctor replied, she left after the assurance.
I went back upstairs to stay with my love, she was peacefully lying down looking more beautiful you can ever imagine, "Love, I feel you inside, I cant wait for you to wake up" I said as I lay beside her. I lost track of time and doze off. I felt a hand caresses over my face, I smiled for I know who.

Chapter 9
(Isabelle pov)
Am now on my bed thinking of only one person, Hunter, my Adonis. He is perfect in all angle, I truly enjoyed today with him, I wish it never end. His lips is the sweetest, his touch most gentle, his eyes so memerising, he is really an angel.
When I came back I saw my car in the garage, that means Hunter brought it home, I wonder how, my mom was so happy and said am now the queen of supernatural, dad just asked me to be careful cause being the king mate means a lot of responsibilities.
I heard some knock on my window, I looked, lo and behold its my Adonis, I rushed towards the window and opened it
"What...." he caught my lips with an unexpected kiss I was thrown off balance but he held me and deepened the kiss, and I kissed back we moved inside and I heard the window close, he used his powers. We kissed till we got on the bed, he moved to my ear and nibbled it, the sensation travelled all over my body it made me curl up my feet, he's killing me, he sucked my neck and I had to grab a fist full of my sheet cause the pleasure is too much. I find myself moaning, never expected that.
"The house got so lonely" he whispered to my ears
"Right" I said for I couldn't form any other word to say

We heard the bell and went to our class, Hunter is not yet here, and Jacob too, now I regret coming to school, cause school is nothing without him.

Rest of the lesson was fun, not because of the teachers or subject, but because Hunter uses every opportunity to touch me, I love when he controlled a guy that wanted to seat next to me to leave the seat and he took the seat. He is such a child and I love every bit of it
We are currently having lunch and I have explained everything to my friends even Jacob wanted the details too that surprised me.

"and also thank you for the good work you have been doing since you got back" she said as she bend showing her cleavage, Hunter just nodded, am now really pissed, regardless she is a wolf but all I can think of is ripping her head.
"He is my mate!" I screamed and Melisa flew 2 feet away, I got confused, did hunter do his magic thing, but why did I feel this surge of energy, I looked around everybody is staring at me with shock
"I told you, the more time you spend with me the more powerful you become" Hunter said as he stood up and hug me, he held me there, I could hear murmurs and some camera snap. Way to go I sabelle, you will soon have your house flooded with reporters

Chapter 10
(Isabelle pov)
Hunter brought me to the lake behind his house, its now becoming our favourite spot and am so loving it. Now whats the reasonable explanation to what happened in school.
"Don't be so lost love, I told you the more time you spend with me the more power you draw from me" Hunter said and his voice brought me back to the present. He definately looks hot in his leather jacket, looking more like a model, am drooling, snap out of it Isabelle
"So you mean I just used your magical ability" I asked more to myself
"yeah, you just did" He answered though I didnt require it.
Its cool being powerful, I bet I will get more respect especially now everybody knows am his mate, way to go Isabelle Kings. Those stupid journalists will swap my doorsteps, thats the only thing I hate about being popular
"Don't worry about the journalists, we will take care of my them" he said as if reading my thought.

"Such a beautiful creature you are" I felt the words leave my lips as I stare at the big white wolf in front of me, he tilted his head to my touch as I ran my finger through his neck and I felt glad, proud and special for being the first person to see his wolf form I always pictured him to be a bad black wolf since he is the demon hybrid. He gestured me to climb on his back and I did, he is really big, bigger than royals, Damian will really be dazed if he see him, I grabbed on to his fur as he took off not in a lightening speed like always, he knows I will fall off if he do, but the speed was enough for me to feel the wind.
We ran around for a while, before he brought me back at the lake side and went to the tree he removed his cloth and transformed back to human and wore his cloth
"How did you like my wolf" he said as he stepped out
"More than you" I teased him a little and he smiled "So whats his name" yeah their wolf have names I have forgetten the name of Amy and Damians wolf

"Why wolf, can't you choose a better name for him" I asked am already making up names for him, Throne, Leo....
"He chose it himself, cause he believe he is the Wolf and others are just miniature of him" he said, well the name Wolf fits when he puts it like this and I now like it.
"Come on let me take you home, and no wolf ride" he said and I frowned, thought he can't read my thought, then how can he always guess what am thinking.
Hunter said he is hesitant to mark me, cause he is afraid I might not take it all, but I have to also prove I can, I want to tell him to do it now but I also need to prepare myself. I will surely be marked by him tomorrow so that his scent will be all over me and mine will be on him too cause I boiled when that useless girl advanced on him
"How do you keep your cool, I hear Alphas are possesive over their mate and you are suppose to be the worse but you are not" I asked
"As you can see my wolf is gentle and am also gentle, so with that I can keep calm and not show my possesive nature" he said, I think his wolf gene is the strongest in him.
We arrived at home earlier than I thought, I wanted more time, well maybe he will sneak into my room today like last night
"No I wont sneak into you room" he said and smiled, am I that predictable, how annoying "I would want to sneak in but I have things to take care of" he said and gave me a warm kiss and left.
There goes my bundle of joy, goodbye love, till I see you again, I noticed there is no reporter in my house how weird, it dawn on me that i must be Hunters handwork, what can't he do I smiled as I went into my house

I came to the hide out, my dad just recently told me about his involvement with them, I disagreed to join at first but after the powers they promised me I agreed without a second thought. So they gave me the task to report about Hunter and his mate Isabelle
"So what happened today" Matthew asked, he is the wizard and the brain behind the Azalk and he is my role model
"Well Isabelle was able to draw Hunters strength, she magically pushed away a girl that was trying to flirt with hunter" I said as I look at my father and he nodded showing his pride for me and I revelled on it
"We should move fast, before she gain full access to his powers then we can't capture her" Adam the vampire said, he is calm like Matthew and always give the cold aura
"Lets just attack now, they would never expect it, three of us can overpower him" Omeh said, always the hot headed one, typical wolf, he is underestimating Hunter. I have experience how powerful hunter is and nobody here is near that level of power.
"Not yet, we need to stick to the plan else we fail, and we only have one shot at this" Matthew said "you are dismissed now" he said to me, I bowed and left
"Am proud of you son" My father said to me once we are outside
"Thanks" I said, am betraying my friends and everybody and I feel no remorse, am only excited about the powers they promised me, am really power craving "am going now, see you later" I said as I left.

EPISODE 7-8
Chapter 7
(Hunters pov)
I still can't sleep, am too aware of Isabelle in my room to sleep, her lime scents fills my whole nostril I can't concentrate on anything I have stood in front of the door many things trying to enter her room and ravish her but always able to stop myself, though I don't know how long I can keep calm.
Good I just picked up Jacob scent "Come to my house" I mind linked him atleast he will be able to keep me occupied
"Am here" he let himself in and it didn't take him 3 seconds to get here, he used the wolf speed
"something happened" I said as I gulped down the remaining whiskey, I have been drinking to get my mind of her but its not working
"let me guess" he sniffes "she is here, and she already knows" he said with a sly smile
yea he can easily find out but thats not the main discussion "she was attacked" I said and the smile faded from his face
"hope she is fine" he asked and I nod
"I couldn't smell her attackers or hear their thought" I said and still wondering why
he also looked a bit shock ""I think its the new spray use to cover up their smell" he said with a shrug
"something like that now exist" I asked surprisingly
"yes, and its a secret only the Royals, the alphas and leaders knows about it" he said

I woke up and nothing seem familiar, on a bigger bed with white sheet and bigger room with white colour, my room is purple with normal bed. Where am I? I asked as everything rushed back to me. AM HUNTERS MATE. Now am in a state of euphoria, am in Hunter room. I sniffed to know if I could smell him, but sadly can't, am a human, but still smelled his scent on the bed, I stood up went to the door and that instant it opened to reveal a shirtless Adonis, am such a Hot teenager
"How was your night" he said with his deep morning voice, chocolate,
"Lovely" the bessssssssst "and yours" I said trying to keep my eyes on his face and not his abs
"same, here" he passed me a cup of coffee and I took, I think its the best coffee I have ever tasted or just happy its Hunter that made it
"Soooo, when are we going to school?" I asked though I really don't want to
"No school today miss, you are staying here" I try to oppose thinking of my parents "don't worry about your parents and your friends they have all been taken care off" he said like he read my mind
"What did you tell my parents?" am curious to know
"I went to your house, told them you are with me and you are my mate" he said with much authority "your mom was so happy, I could sense her happiness, your dad was a bit shock but still told me to take care of you" he said, I know if he really said it to them, they won't oppose cause most mate will start living together espcially alphas and royals

Way to go Isabelle, I came out wrapped with towel and saw the undies on the bed, white pant and bra, I think he likes white, I put it on and it suits perfectly so I went to his drawer and brought out a white shirt, I chose the white shirt cause I have come to the conclusion that he love white, I hope am right
Fried egg filled my nose as I came out to see he already passed our breakfast, which is fried egg and bread with milk, nice how cute, he made me breakfast. I walked down he was standing beside the dinning then I blink and he is infront of me, I gasped and he kissed me, deep kiss full of emotions it didnt last long, how disappointing
"I couldn't control myself anymore" He said, spending few moment with Hunter made me realise he like having control over himself and its difficult for him to let loose, thats a different definition of what have before, we all thought he will be on the loose side
"You don't have to control yourself with me" I assured him cause I really want him to loose control, he just nod and took me to the dinning table
"Hope its delicious" he asked, I nodded cause I have my mouth full and its so delicious I forgot to complement him, he just chuckled
"How did you know am in danger the second time" I asked, I intend to ask a lot today
"Though, I can't read your mind, but I feel your presence the most, so I felt you when you were coming and I felt your fears too so I rushed to your rescue" he said like its nothing
"If its not for the mate bond would I still be crazy over you" I asked cause it would be agonizing if its so
He smiled "actually yes, cause many girls are crazy about me" he said with a smug "but if you are not my mate, I will still wish you were, cause I have not seen any girl as beautiful as you" he said and it really made me smile
"Won't people be disappointed to hear that their queen is a weak human" I said sadly

So with me having all the powerful gene together, all enhancing eachother hence making me a very powerful being" he said it proudly
"The most powerful" I said and really happy he is mine, I want to know more of him
"Lets go to the river" he said, I am wearing his shirt and my legs are exposed "dont worry nobody will see you and I will make the water warm" he said and smiled. I stood up on my feet, he towered over me and I thought how to kiss him, but he beat me to it as he bend down and kissed me, more furious than the morning, I grabbed his neck and wrapped my legs around him, I swear he is the most delicious thing I have ever tasted and I will always want more. He stopped and I rested my head on his shoulder, sensing am not planning on coming down he carried me like that to the river........
Chapter 8
(Hunter's pov)
I carried her to the river with her arms and legs around me, I can feel her bare legs and it amaze me with its softness and smoothness. We got to the water I made it warm by just dipping my foot in it, I wouldn't like her to feel cold
"Warm" she said as I dipped her into the water
"did it for you love" love that sound cute, imagine a king being cute
She stepped down and stared at me and I got lost, that dark brown eyes is the prettiest thing to gaze upon
"You are beautiful" I said breathlessly for just with a gaze she always knock the breath out of me "and am saying this not as your lover or mate but as a man that is not blind" I said truthfully and she giggled
"When you normally wore sunglass was I pretty" she asked with the cutest smile
and I just nodded cause I couldn't find my voice
I kissed her, I planned on just a little kiss but got carried away I started kissing her furiously and she returned it with equal force we were both lost till she hissed out of pain

It was the first thing they agreed on, it even made them stop the war a bit, some wanted to have me so that I could be their winning card but as soon as my father rejects the offer they will also join others to kill me" I felt her caress my cheek and I lean to it, she could feel my sadness

"So after that I ran inside the woods, always covering my tracks, the supernatural went back to war and I was forgotten, so I lived my life in the woods." I laughed as I recalled when I first met jacob lost, a rogue "I saw Jacob in the forest, he was afriad his parents have been killed cause of the war, so we started staying together and became bestfried many others joined us, vampires, wolves,witches and some humans that were able to escape their captors" Sweet memories
"Jacob suggested we become a pack and sujected I become the Alpha and he called the pack Hunters pack" I scoffed as I remembered that I may have been the Alpha but jacob is the leader I was just the muscle, he was wiser than many teenagers
"What a wierd park" Isabelle said smiling, yea she's right on that
"So we formed the pack, and I found a place in the woods and we started building our homes" I looked around and thought how this place was once a forest. Nothing is impossible, just work hard and everything will be possible. "I was away to the human realm, I escorted some of the humans, that wanted to go back and start live over again. When I got back, the pack was a mess, jacob said that blood moon pack came, and tried to bully them cause they thought we are not an official pack, so they fought back and unfortunately killed the Alpha's son." she gasped as she heard this, she knew no Alpha will take that lightly
"What did you guys do" she asked
"I did the best thing, we held the official ceremony, and they were all initiated by drink my blood and with that they have sown alliance to me" I saw the frightful look on her face when I said they drank my blood. It was funny "actually not my blood, but a fountain that have my blood, I cutter myself and spilled my blood in it, thats why even when I was gone they were able to accept new people, cause all they have to do is drink the water" she visibly relaxed
"After the ceremony, we decided to go see bloodmoon Alpha in the morning. When we got to their territory, I took only Jacob since I meant to have peace and not war, there was already enough war. But they took us prisoners, I pleaded to see the Alpha, but we were kept in prison for two days" I sighed
"Why didn't you fight" She asked bewildered
"Like I said I wanted peace, so after 2 days, they took us to the Alpha, and he demanded Jacobs head, I refused but Jacob said he is willing to, that he regret killing the boy and I should not stop him."
"Thats so brave of him" she admired Jacobs courage
"Yea but everything turned sideways when Jacob asked him if he will leave the pack alone after they kill him, the Alpha said yes but he was thinking something else, I was able to read his thought and discovered he have already sent his troops to my pack" Alphas then were really ruthless
"So I killed the Alpha instantly, killed the soldiers before they could react, I explain to Jacob, so we started fighting the pack, wasn't afraid for my pack cause I know the ceremony have made them the strongest pack in the supernatural, so to end the fight quicker I roared" she laughed as I said this I bet she just rememered what my roar can do and she is sure right
"They went back to their human form and was scared, they don't stand a chance against my might, so jacob asked them to run to other packs and tell them the king of supernatural is here" I laughed at how Jacob knows when to sieze a moment
"I hope your pack was alright when you got back?"she asked with much care. Without even knowing it she is exhibit the character of a Luna, a Queen
"They were fine, so like that Jacob suggest we try and stop the war, so we worked towards it I called a meeting with the leaders, they came probably because they were afraid, its funny, a teenager in control. So after the meeting I discovered they have even forgotten why there were at war so I made each other release their prisoners and relinquish the lands they forcefully took from each other and they accepted"
"You really did good" she said with an adorable smile, and gave me a warm hug "but how did you close the portal" she asked
"Well, I stopped vampires from forcefully feeding from humans, but some still secretly go to the human world and fist on them, so I annouced that every human that wants to go back should go and ones that want to stay should stay, after that I sealed the portal" I sign damn I just narrated my life story.
I looked around, its already evening and I know she must be hungry "Lets go back inside and fix something to eat, after that I will take you home" she got sad when I said she is going home, call me a psycho am glad she is sad "come on" I carried her bridal style inside and fixed dinner after that she decided I use my speed back to her house and only stop a mile a way so we can walk as normal couple
"So how old where you before you went to hypersleep" she asked as we walked towards her home
"Well as you can see, am 18" I answered though I knew what she was asking
"I mean technically" she said with an eye roll, everything she does is cute
"I was 218, I think, like I said I don't keep count, the only reason I know am 18, its cause I know we stop aging at 18" we are already at her doorsteps, how time easily fly pass
We were both reluctant to let go off eachother, I lean and kissed her I stopped cause I sensed her mother and I wouldn't like her to see it yet so I let her go, I walked half way turned and winked her before she entered inside. Chapter 5
(Isabelle pov)
Since I came home today from school I have been crying, now its just sobs since I have no more tears. As I got home I received a call from Amy, I wanted to ignore it but since I dont need her coming to my house I just told her I had stomach ache but I will be fine after a few hour sleep and luckily she bought that, as for Silas he called and asked if am alright immediately I said yes, he told me he's travelling for a witch stuff which made me think he called not to know how I was but to tell me about the witch stuff.
I kept thinking of Hunter and how I have offended him, but I can't think of anything though but I feel so weak. But why do I feel like this towards him, why does his opinion matter so much, how miserable will be if he finds his mate.
"Isabelle am home" my mom calls
"am up in my room doing assignment" I lied cause I don't want her to see me like this, my eyes red from crying, come to think of it I never cried like this or over emotional stuff, am a strong girl, but now am weak. I need to figure out this feeling I need to sort myself out with that I slept off.
I woke feeling so heavy, my head hurts, I just got up went downstairs and brought out a cold water from the fridge and gulped down.
"Are you alright?" my mom asked and i turned, she was standing by the kitchen door wearing a nice dress which indicates shes going out
"am fine just a slight headache" I roamed my eyes all over her "where are you going?" I asked
"We're going to a ball party hosted by the royal vampire" she said. we as in she and dad
"oh, so where is dad"
"Here I am" he came to view wearing a nice tux, he is really a fine man and I have some of his qualities like his dark brown eyes and I have my mothers curves, such a lovely family we are
"lets go honey, we don't plan to be late, remember hunter is coming" my dad said, with the name Hunter, thousand scenerio rushed through my mind
"You mean the king of supernatural" I asked just to be sure
"yes" my mother answered as they both went out and entered their car
"don't wait for us dear" my dad said as he drove off
Maybe I should've gone with them at least to see Hunter and know if he's angry, will he even talk to me, am so confused. I went upstairs to bath and calm myself.
I spent more than 30 minutes in the bath but I still didnt clear my head, am here killing myself over someone that is not mine, am hopeless. I went up to my room to know if I can sleep, but no I keep turning, am incurable
Thats it I have made up my mind to go to the ball and search for Hunter, so i grabbed my black hoodie already wore my black trouser and went off to the vampire town that means I have to take the car, perfect.
I opened the car and luckily the engine revved alive, good its been long I touched it so I drove out of the garage and drove off, I never like going to the vampire town its dead silent and cold but today I have to and being alone in the car is no fun so I tried putting on the radio but it didnt respond "stupid radio" I muttered and focus on the road
Am almost there, and the unexpected happened the car went off that was went I notice the fuel guage and its empty, "no no no no, this can't be not in this spooky place" am literally scared, cause I know vampires favourite food is blood, I don't want to be anybodys food, so instead of stalling I opened the door and took of to the ball. I know its being held at the Royal house and I know there cause I have been there more than twice
Am getting tired, am never good in sports but I still try to move fast, I noticed some movement at my back, I looked back and saw nothing, maybe am just paranoid so I just focus and kept moving, but I keep getting this feeling of being watched and being followed so I started running as I run I looked back and saw a shadow moving towards me so I ran faster only to be knocked down by a wall. I felt dizzy but shook my head as I tried to fight the dizziness. Though my vision is blurry but I notice I didnt hit a wall but a vampire and surrending me was 5 vampires, it looks I will after all be a food
"Pretty girl, where are you going by this ungodly hour" one of them asked
"Am going to the ball" I replied with fear visible in my voice
"you dont look like you are going to the ball" he said as he examine my cloth, he is right there. "come on lets guild you" he said as he stretch out his hand for me to take and for a moment I felt relieved
"On a second thought, you smell so delicious" he said as I literally felt myself drain
"please, dont hurt me" I said with tears in my eyes
"Dont worry dear it wont hurt much" another one of them said
"I thought drinking from a human is prohabited" I tried to reason with them
"Yeah, that why we will kill you and nobody will know" this one came from behind me I dared not to look for he sound colder than others
"Please" I kept apologizing though it was falling on deaf ear, so I close my eyes as I welcome my death but instead of filling a pang in my neck i head a rip, it sounded like a body part is being ripped apart, I heard woosh sound and more ripping then everything went silent, I waited for a few seconds before opening my eyes and gasped as I so the headless body of the vampires and in the middle is standing Hunter wearing a tux with his eyes still closed I could see him well cause of the light produced by the moon and I noticed his bloody hands
"Are you alright?" he asked with that voice I have yawn so much to hear
"Yes" I said as I hugged him call me stupid but I had no control over myself, luckily he returned the hug and am glad I breathed in his forest smell
He broke the hug "why are you here?" he asked
"I came to see you" I said truthfully "and I have questions for you" yes I do
He raised his eyebrows, which was cute but still didnt open his eye "what questions"
"Do you use magic on me" I asked bluntly
he laughed loudly and thats the first time am hearing the sound of his laughter and its melody "why ask such"
"cause am having all this weird feelings and attraction towards you, I have never had it before so explain why am having it with you" I feeling a bit relieved
He just took a deep breath "maybe its just teenage fantasy, like almost every girl have for me and besides you have a boyfriend" he said sounding a bit sad, it in a way made me sad cause I never want to see him sad
"Silas, is sort of an agreement relationship" and its true we decided to date last 2 years not because the emotion was there and we know we will eventually separate, so I did the unthinkable and most cruel thing, I picked up my phone and called Silas and he picked up
"Hello Silas, I have been thinking"
"You want to break up" silas said
"how did you know" I was surprised, is it magic
"I know, the relationship have not been working out and I have been thinking how to tell you but it appears you have more courage than I do" he said
"fine" am relieved he felt that way too, but really the relation is destined to fail "still friends" I asked to be sure
"sure I won't miss that for the world" he laughed "bye I have something to do" he cut the phone
"So now am single and its not just a teenage fantasy" I assured him, yet he kept quiet "say something, anything" still no word "k read my mind to see what I feel but cannot say" my tears are now pouring out
"I cant" he said barely above a whisper
"sure you can, you the king of supernatural, the most powerful" I came closer and I am now holding on the last thread, what if he have a mate and he is just feeling pity towards me for falling for him, if he have a mate I will beg him to make me forget him, sure he can do that he have the powers
"I cant, I can read everybodies mine except yours" he said, now thats a shocker, those that means something is wrong with me

Chapter 6
(Hunter's pov)
Am currently in a ball party hosted for me by the vampires, and am so miserable am trying so hard to keep up a smiling face and engage in conversations, but truthfully all my mind is with Isabelle, her lime smell, her well curved body, I have always imagined what my mate would be like, I never imagined her to be this beautiful and innocent, her beautiful brown almost black eyes.
"Hunter" Jacob calls as he approached me "thats really bad" he said, about the dark clouds I made when Silas pecked Isabelle
"Yes I know" I sighed "but I lost control, he was all over her and that really angered me, he's really lucky I didn't rip his heart out" I growled, so low only jacob heard
"You can't continue this, you need to tell her, and I can tell she is really feeling you but can't explain the feeling" Jacob said. He is right I can sense her feelings, though I cant read her mind but I can still smell her hormones, and its always on high alert whenever I come closer, though other girls hormones spike up as I get closer to them but I find it disgusting, unlike my mates own her own is intoxicating, its like my very own brand of drug
"Next time I see her I will show her" I said making up my mind, and he nodded as we drink in silent. Lime, I caught the smell, its my mate, though shes still a bit far but she is heading here, and I can't smell any other person with her. As I reached I saw 5 vampires trying to kill her and her eyes is already closed, showing she have accepted her fate with no second thought I reaped their heads off, I wonder why I couldn't smell them. Her eyes is closed, so I took the time to stare at her but the pleasure was short lived as she opened her eyes and I closed mine. Whats wrong with me I thought I have made up my mind to show her, king of supernatural is such a kid.
"Are you alright" I asked though I can't smell any blood from her but I need to be sure, she answered positive and hugged me, her scent filled my nose and I had to squeeze tighter but easy not to break her.
I broke the hug asked her why she is here, she said cause of me, and it made me glad, I was surprised when she asked if I have used magic on her cause of the feelings she is having for me. Am so happy hearing it though I knew but hearing it from her made it sweeter.
She also surprised me when she broke up with Silas, to show me there is no more obstacle, not that he was even an obstacle, and urged me to read her thought
"I can't" I said barely above a whisper
"sure you can, you're the king of supernatural the most powerful" she said as she came closer, and I can feel her desperation she is holding on the last thread
"I can't, I can read everybodies mind except yours" I said, I know she will be confused by that

I carried her and laid her beside a tree and came back and incinerated the vampires, I don't want people knowing, later I will ask Jacob why I couldn't smell them. I remembered that people will be worried cause I was too fast for them to see when I ran away, to them its like disappearing, am really glad am powerful. I decided to pass a message to Jacob telling him am alright, that he should cover for me, and he agreed
So its now time to carry my mate to a suitable place, so I carried her and ran to my favourite place, the lake behind my house, its night with the moon shining it made it beautiful, I laid her in a comfortable place waiting for her to wake up as I looked at her, she is beautiful, I ran my hands through her body and marvelled at the smoothness and softness, she is really beautiful, thank the moon goddess for giving her to me

"Hunter, you are my ADONIS" she said as I felt her sleep off, I laid her in bed covered her, stared at her a little longer, God why can't I stop this dirty thought, with that I left the room happy that she is finally mine.

CHAPTER 3 & 4
Everybody kept talking about the boy in the mask, they think he's too ugly that's why he wear mask, and I believe it to be true cause of the soldier said
"Don't worry about his mask or having him disturb, he's too ashamed of himself to crave attention" that's the exact words of the soldier.
We are now in our first period which happens to be Biology, am a science student I aspire to be a doctor when I grow up. Some of the delinquents are with us.
Richard, who said we should call him Richie, Amanda, Collins, the twins then Eric.
Its annoying we can't see his face, I wonder how ugly he is. My mind was still trying to make up the monstrous face that will suit Eric when a piece of paper landed on me.
I picked it, then looked around to see who threw it, I saw Kevin smiling at me, I quickly unfolded the paper.
"Stop staring at Eric, else I will jealous"
How cute, no need getting jealous over a monster face, haven't you hear am a sucker for cute guys and you happen to be very cute. I smiled and looked at him, that's a nice way to start wooing a girl.
"Miss Omeh, tell me the parts involved in homeostasis" I heard our teacher called and all amusement left me, I slowly stood, didn't even look at Kevin, all eyes on me.

"Thank God" I said and stood up, lots of students where already bursting out, my eyes caught on Eric, he was looking out through the window not bothered about going out .
"Come on Amanda let's go am farmished" Richie said dragging Amanda with him, the twins and Collins followed they didn't bother with the Eric, I guess he is a loner.
"Stop staring" Kevin whispered as he passed me, I smiled, I never knew am staring, maybe its because of his creepy mask. I followed behind Kevin. Maybe Amina will have something interesting to tell me about the delinquents in her class.
School went on normal, Eric changed his mask, now we can see his lips, really pink lips, now am now doubting if really his a monster, but I really have not seen him speak ever since his introduction. Our homeroom teacher did some changes in our sitting position and he is now sitting directly behind me and it gives me the creep.
"So disappointed" Amina said casting her shoulder down
"What's wrong" I asked after I swallowed my food, we are in the canteen
"I thought with the delinquents coming things would be exciting" she said, she's right things are still boring
"Allow me gorgeous and I will give you the excitement you so desire" Richie said interfering, he's been on Amina since he came, it really annoy her cause she hate guys with petite body, Richie just don't care, he's determine on getting her.
"Can't you just leave me alone" she said with closed teeth.
"No, can't do" he said smiling, I smiled at the poor guys courage, it made me look around for Kevin, we have gotten really close since last week, he sometimes come to our table to eat with us, but today he is with his popular guys. I looked at him, he is just too handsome, I exhaled. I was drawned back to reality when I heard the sound of slap.
"Now some excitement" Amina said, I turned and saw Amanda slapping Kelly, Kelly is like the guy we all avoid in our school, if you ask me he looks more delinquent than the delinquents.
"You just didn't do that" He blared at her.
"Stop me again and I will" Amanda said and walked away.
"Now thats gut" Amina said. I just nodded
"To sad the excitement is over" Amina said
"Over? Its just getting started pretty" Richie said, we all gasped as Collins stormed in, everybody knew exactly with will happen.
"Kelly should know better than touch Amanda" Richie smiled, Collins went straight to Kelly and gave him a mighty punch that knocked him down, he sat on him and delivered countless punch before Kelly's crew came and dragged him up.
"Teach him a lesson" Kelly said with his bloody face
"Lock the cafeteria so no teacher disturbs" he said as his guys held down Collins, he is about to trash Collins.
"Do something" Amina said to Richie.
"Why me, beside Gabriel will soon enter" he said and truth fully Gabriel came with a powerful punch that made the guy let go of Collins, Michael also entered. I now remembered Gabriel saying his the one that picks fight. In that moment, The once peaceful canteen became a ring for wrestlers, the only delinquents that didn't join the fight is Henry and Richie.
"Where is Amanda, she caused this and she is no where to be found" I said, I searched the cafeteria with my eyes for her instead I found Kevin's cheering on the fight, boys will be boys.
"Don't worry, she is trying to get help" Richie said,
"You mean the teachers" I asked, Richie smiled,
"We are delinquent, we break the rules, teachers can't stop this, we need the monster to stop it" he said and I can only think of one monster, Eric. As it dawn on me we all heard a loud bang on the canteen door, it was so loud it made the fight stop. The bang came again this time louder and I was petrified, what if its a teacher and they punish us all like they normally do in my formal school.
The door bursted open on its forth bang, lo and behold the Eric, Amanda was standing behind him, he looked at the ones fighting, and walked towards them.

Chapter 4
Everyone was anticipating what he will do, its frustrating I can't see his face to know his reaction, he reached out for his friends, whispered to them and help the fallen ones up. Everyone was watching his every step, he doesn't look strong to me, for the fact he always wears hold makes him look like he is sick and have never leaves the class. After helping his mates up, they walked away, nobody expected that, it left Kelly's lips open.
"And where do you think you're going" Kelly finally said when he got hold of himself.
"Wouldn't it be better if we all stop now before someone get hurt" Eric answered without looking back.
"Oh, someone is already hurt, my ego" Kelly said and dashed towards him. I looked at Eric to see if he will run or plead he just turn towards Kelly. Kelly was thrown back with his punch, as he fell, Eric kicked his stomach, so hard that Kelly curled up and started coughing.
"Who's next" he said looking at the petrified kellys group, though I can't see his face but I do know he is different from the sound of his voice.
"Now the monster is out" Richie said with much excitement "and no stopping him"
Eric moved towards the crew and they all dashed at him, I thought he was mad for how can he win against 10 boys, but I was left shocked when he started crushing.
"A punch from Eric is like a hammer, you can hardly get up", he once trashed a junior soldier, we all avoid being punched by him.
" can't they stop him" I asked, am already uneasy, I remember when he said to stop before someone get hurt.
"Nop, Eric is like a monster truck with no breaks, you can only get hurt if you try to stop him" Richie said, I can't stand it anymore, soon it will go out off hand. I run toward them, don't really know what made me, maybe cause of the fact I have been staring at Eric since he came. I have no idea how to stop him or push him so I fell on top a guy he is about to trample on.
"Stop you monster" I said and looked him straight in the eyes,it was pitch black, its as if he have stared hell straight in the eye, like worst is the only thing he have seen and will see, it made my eyes sting and tears flowed. He stood there looking at me, after a moment he stretched his hands towards me, I closed my eyes and flinched he must really be a monster for him to hit a woman. I heard a punch sound, I then opened my eyes, I saw Kevin's hand balled into a fist, he punched Eric, what have I caused, now this monster will crush my sweet Kevin. I am beyond petrified, but the unexpected happened he just left, the monster left. So the saying is true, true love conquers all, I looked up and saw Kevin shining like a star before me.
He helped me up, and my admiration for him grew, I smiled at him and he return the gesture, he then moved to help Kelly crew stood up
"Don't be too happy boy, it wasn't you punch that made him walk away" Collins said to Kevin then looked at me before walking away with Amanda and rest of the delinquents.
"Now talk about excitement!" Amina screamed and I smiled, its what she's been waiting for, as everyone was about to get to class since its been over 10 minutes the bell rang.
"Who is responsible for what happened here" we heard the principal voice resonates the hall, I nearly pissed my pants.
"Eric" Kelly said with much hatred, and my heart hurts for him, but I hater myself more as my lips got sealed and I couldn't defend him, not that he didn't deserved whatever punishment, but he alone wasn't the cause, actually he was the victims, a strong victim.
"Now everyone go back to class, fetch me Eric" he said the last part to the teacher beside him and Ieft, I can't imagine the punishment Eric will take.
It took a while before all the student cleared the canteen, I was the last with Kevin since we took our time chatting, we kept walking like lovers, though not holding hands but our hands brush each other occasionally and it sends jolts of electricity.
He kept telling me sweet words and its easy to see my blush since am fair,
"The first time you came in, I was like wow, today I've seen an angel" he said and I smiled "I know this is a lame pick up line, but did it hurt when you fell from heaven" I laughed
"Yea its lame, but with you its all romantic" I said and he gave me the cutest pout. I smiled and looked up, I froze as I saw Eric walking towards us with a teacher, even with his mask I can sense his face is devoid of any emotion.
I stood still as he passed, not glancing our way like we are invisible, I don't know why that hurts.
After passing Eric through the hallway, my day got worse, and he didn't return to class, I got more pissed. I kept looking around trying to find him but didn't, I went home being sad.

CHAPTER 1 & 2
We all make wishes not thinking how drastically it could change our lives if it happens to comes true. For as long as I can remember I have always wish my dad to be super rich, so I can eat the food I want, wear the latest cloth and have the latest phone. Luckily my wish came true so just earlier this year the government awarded my dad a multi billion contract, that really was a live changing contract for us, literally. My father made sure to send my elder brother outside the country, then bought the best kind of things for me. At first all was fine, I became the richest girl in the neighborhood. My mom kept saying we should pack out, my dad said no need since he is already building his house and we should wait till I finish my ss 2, so once we relocate I will start in a new school. I never bothered about the new school or the new environment I was too busy being the biggest girl in my poor neighborhood.
Sadly after my ss 2 we packed into our new home, and the environment was super rich. I have only seen this type of environment in magazines and TV,I never imagined I would one day live here.
"It feels so good, the air smells different... Pure" said my mom the day we packed it, I could see how happy she was when we packed in, she never loved our formal neighborhood, its filled with gossipers and nosy neighbours so she said.
Now I have been enrolled to a prestigious school, so spacious that I don't think I will ever get to cover the whole school tilI I finish. Its been a week since I enrolled and I still feel poor, unlike my formal neighborhood that I became the biggest, here I feel like am poor again.
My mom think attending this school gives me a better chance of being successful in life, she doesn't realise how inferior I feel. I just realise being rich doesn't only mean fat bank account, it also include the way you carry yourself,the designers you wear, your intonation, the way you stress your consonants and vowels. Now I know as I am new money, the students in this school are old money, they are all born with silver spoon, I feel like a sheep thrown to the wolves. Its been a week and I have only manage to make one friend Amina. She is dark very pretty I jealous her cute innocent face, but she talks a lot, am more of a quiet one.
"Today is going to be awesome" Amina said full of excitement, the whole student are gathered on the assembly ground.
"Why" I asked cause I can also see the excitement in every student face especially my classmates.
"Today, the delinquents will be joining us" she said. Delinquents? I thought to myself, if am right then it means trouble, what's there to be excited about it.
"Delinquents, that means they're technically bad" I said just to be sure.
"Yes, that makes it all the fun, its been boring, since everybody here plays by the book, nobody is sure how the delinquents will act so it gets everybody excited" she said panting stretching her neck to see the front. I love boring, boring means safe and I love safe.
"Won't they harm students, and how come the school authority allows it" I asked
The delinquents are all expelled from other schools, and no school wants them, so our principal believes he's giving them one more chance" she said, that's insane, I feel uneasy.
"Won't they deceive the students" I asked
"Probably, but before they are accepted, they first off all go to the military camp for a month for discipline, and while they are here, its the military that takes care of them, they go and come with the military" she said.
"How come you know all this" I asked, thought this is the first time
"Think Barbara, cause this isn't the first time" she took a breath and looked at me, it happens once every 3 years.
"So the school get this excited every time" I asked looking around
"Not nearly, there have been a rumor that principal did it cause of the money the delinquents parents pay him, cause they are always from rich family. So, he now decided to take in poor kids to dissolve the rumors, now since no student knows the rich from the poor we are all excited to figure it out and besides some of us don't know how poor people act" she said and returned to her exciting mode.
"I actually know" I muttered to myself.
I heard the murmur from the student as I watch a bus drive in, the bus filled with delinquents.
"Hi pretty" I heard someone call from behind me,I stiffed, the voice always do that to me.
"Hi Kevin" I replied with a stutter.

Chapter 2
My name is Barbara Omeh, I have always been a sucker for cute guys, now in my new school, a guy called Kevin is just a bag of cuteness, and the moment our eyes met the first day, it was magical, its been a week and all we do is steal glances at each other. He makes our school uniform looks like designers, he is tall, have Justin bieber kind of cuteness, I watch as girls fawn over him, but even in midst of all those girls he still looks at me and gives me a drop dead smile.
Since a weak now all we do is steal glance, but today he came right behind me and said hi, his voice sounded like peanut butter.
"What do you think of the delinquent" He asked
"What do you think" I asked back, since am afraid my thought might be different from his and he will hate that.
"Nothing really, it happens every 3 years, some more interesting than others" he said looking ahead as the bus came to a halt.
"Oh" I just said and started looking upfront. The first person to come out is a man in his mid forty wearing an army uniform.
"Get down" he shouted and it riveted the whole school, then one by one the delinquents came down. They're just nine, I thought they will be more
"So we now have nine new student" Kevin said stressing his first word.
I just gave a nod, the man moved forward and they followed him, it felt like the delinquents are nervous, they didn't look at the student, that's what I did the first day I came in.
The soldier shook hands with the principal, then the student lined up facing us, but still didn't look our face, some focused on the sky while others in their feet. There is a really cute girl with them,I wonder what made her a delinquent.
"Now everybody is thinking, who the poor ones are" Kevin said, I tried to judge from their appearance, but that didn't give me the answer since they all wore the same uniform like us.
"Does it matter" I asked
"Not really, but am sure the girls will avoid the person if they know" he said with a scoff.
"Introduce yourself to the students" The soldier ordered, then they passed them the mic, I never knew school use mic on the Assembly ground till I came here, it will also be impossible to address the whole student without mic, cause the student are many.
"My name is Richard Igwe" said the first boy, he have a petite body but he is not bad "am here cause my school expelled me, why? Cause I hacked into their server and got the exam sheet before the exam, you know I just couldn't resist the temptation" he said the last part proudly and the students cheered for him.
"What a good way to make an entry" Kevin said
"Amanda Charles" the really cute girl said, "am here cause no other school could take my bitchy attitude" she said and passed the mic,
"Don't worry we can" one of the boys screamed, we all laughed.
"Caleb Okafor, I fight a lot" The third person said, he really look macho.
"Kayode Akin" he took a deep breath "fell in with the bad crew and I got busted"
I won't lie, its interesting I now eager to hear them all.
"Obinna Agu, its just a huge misunderstanding, am innocent, I don't deserve to be here" he said, we all laughed cause he look guilty of whatever charges they laid on him. He handed over the mic to the sixth guy, they guy didn't say anything to gave the mic to the seventh guy who is also identical with him,
"Twins" Amina said.
"Am Gabriel Okeke, and this is my brother" he said patting his brother "he don't talk much, our crime is mainly of my doing, I pick fight always then my brother always comes to help me out, so making him my partner in crime. Our parents think the military camp will discipline us since we are heir to a construction company" he said with a shrug.
"Now that's my type of guys" Amina said smiling.
"Am Henry Anayo, am just a victim of circumstance, am so glad I have this opportunity" he said then passed the mic.
"That's a first" Kevin said
"Collins Onuh, just decided to be the scapegoat, am not regretting it" he said and looked at Amanda, awww I smell something.
"Where is he" the army man shouted, they pointed at the car, and said something, but it wasn't audible enough. He took the second mic.
"Get down here boy before I get you myself" he said looking at the bus. So there is a tenth guy now am excited that I can't keep calm. I find myself stretching my neck like Amina, am even standing on my toe.
"Cool it girl, he will get down" Kevin said with a scoff. I paid him no attention as I watch a figure get down from the bus. Everywhere went quiet, drop a pin and the sound will be heard, that's how quiet we all got. The reason for this is cause the boy that came down is wearing a mask. A mask with the design that makes it look like skull.
He walked confidently to the podium, his face was all covered so no way telling if he is nervous or not.
He took the mic to introduce himself, I strained my ear to hear him so I won't miss anything, no one got my interest like the boy on the mask.
"Am Eric" he said and gave the mic back to Collins, he gave no other explanation or introduction, not even a surname, just Eric.
