Health / Re: Bad Breath Wants to kill me! Help! by elvisdaniels(m): 1:56pm On Nov 12, 2020
BadBreathBoy:
This guy called bad breath have haunted me all the way from primary school down to secondary and even to my university level.

I am still a young 19 years old guy at the peak of youthfulness but this guy is just ruining everything for me.
My self-esteem, public speaking skills, social life, confidence, in fact, everything has been smashed with a sledgehammer right in my face.
I have turned into an introvert because of this bad sickness but will cover it up with "Money on my mind" shït.

I have tried everything possible guys.
Below are kinds of stuff that I have tried and it is not working.

1. Visiting a dentist.
6 months ago, I took all the money I had to go over to the dentist in search of a solution. Had to wait for hours before getting attended to.
When the doctor came in, she first started with some words of encouragement.

Telling me I might not have bad breath and all, people might be thinking they have it but don't blah blah blah.
(So me that have bad breath I don't know what I am saying right?)
After much talk, she recommended flossing and cleaning.
That exercise where water passing through a tiny hole at high speeds is used to remove plaque from in between your teeth.
I had to shell out a whopping 4k for that plus the extra card of 500.
All the money I saved was gone just like that.
It didn't work!!! Bad breath still held me down.

2. Brushing twice a day. I did this for 1 week straight up without any improvement relative to the hard work put in. So I became less consistent with this. Toothpaste I have tried includes, Oral B, MyMy, Maclean, Close up, name it. Didn't work.

3. Garlic and ginger. Some persons here on Nairaland recommend that ginger and garlic can be used to drive off bad breath. The prescription was to swallow it whole before going to bed at night then brush in the morning to remove the after-effects.
I tried this for one week. Didn't work.

4. Mouthwash: I have wasted more than 4k in buying mouthwash but these things are just 2 hours wonder from the moment of application.
I get fresh breath for the time being but after like 3 to 4 hours, the bad breath keeps on coming back. Still didn't work.

5. Hydrogen peroxide: Someone also recommended I use this to chase bad breath.
It also works for sometime after which bad breath comes back. I even tried to dilute less than normal for maximum effects but the only thing I got was an irritating burn on my tongue. I am so not using this guy again!

6. Walnut: Some said walnut could be my Savior so I had to buy them in large quantity to chew but it didn't have long-term effects.
So I ditched it. I don't have money to waste as I am still a student.

7. Chewing a combination of bitter leaf, scent leaf, and guava leaves: Out of intuition, I decided to try this combination. My common sense inferred that since it was bitter, it should probably have some effects on the bacteria in my mouth. But alas! Bad breath wasn't even impressed one bit. I even had to stuff them in my pocket and chew on them while going to class. This was a big flop.
Didn't work at all.

8. Agnes Nwamma Herbal powder: I don't know what to say about this one, because it was even better that I just didn't brush for that day. Very useless in fighting off bad breath.

The funny thing that leaves my jaw-dropping is that my dad doesn't even brush, he uses a chewing stick but still has a very fresh breath than I that used mouthwash, baking powder, toothpaste and still chew the chewing stick to top that.

9. Chewing gum like Clorets, Methos: I have to be frank about these gums, they kind of aggravates the bad breath. They are simply applying salt to injury so I just stopped using them altogether.

Pls Nairalanders, help me out here. There have been lots of people who found a solution to their problem on here, so I doubt mine will be different.
Pls, I need something else to try that will not dig a hole in my pocket as I am still trying to stand on my feet.
I need a permanent solution not 3 hours wonder.

Lala pls push to the front page so I can get a large set of solutions to fight this off.

I don't want to resume school like this.
I am tired, I am weak, disheveled, exhausted, dejected, depressed, anguished, melancholic, in fact, I have tayad like this.

My confidence and esteem have been crushed by bad breath. Shyness, inability to have streamlined chat with people, playing deaf and dumb, using hand signals whilst communicating, smiling like a peacock when my opinion is required, staying away from girls, snubbing people, rejecting positions that have me talk to a crowd has taken over!!

Pls, abeg, mbok, biko, I need a solution.
A permanent one at that.

Hi what you are having Is called tonsil stones inside your mouth , watch YouTube and you will see how it is removed , once you do it wash your mouth and you will never have bad mouth odor again , every 2-3 days check the location of the stones have accumulated and remove them , you can use your hands to press it or get a tonsil stone remover . Take care

I lost my bank job of over 4 years early this year. My efforts towards securing another job since then has been futile. I've invested in all sorts of online business but none yielded reasonably.

I have resolved to set up a business with my only savings of N500k here in Port Harcourt.

Great Nairalanders especially those resident in Port Harcourt, I've come for your advice. What business (NOT ONLINE) can I start with my 500k savings here in Port Harcourt?.

God bless as you advise[/quote]

Try lubricants and servicing spare parts , that’s if you have an idea of cars and it’s spare parts or plumbing and building materials .

You are right, I did my university in malaysia and I never bothered or try to scam anybody, all I did was kept to myself and mind my own business but they stoped me asking for my passport but it's not with me so I called my housemate to bring my passport for me, after showing them they still said I should wait for immigration to come and check if it is real or not but if I can not wait I should buy cigarettes and maxis card for one of them then they will give me back my passport, since from that day I became very careful of my movement and stoped staying out all night.
I finished at president college ,kuala , then I was living in mont kaira kl before moving to sri batu caves the police on motor bikes and waja are the worst , they extort without compassion ...after I finished I carried my bag jejely and left that country . Crime / Re: 17 Nigerians, One Ugandan Arrested For Attacking Police Officers In Malaysia by elvisdaniels(m): 11:57am On Jul 30, 2019
Those Malaysian police were on illegal duties , they always go around conducting raids with their waja car, someone that is been investigated for fraudulent activities in Malaysia , police don’t come to arrest them and then ask for passport , they arrest you first , handcuff you , and you answer the rest at the station , those Nigerians were targeted and they came to extort them by using visa validation if their visa is still valid or not, some of them after showing them your valid visa they will insist on checking your phone or ask you where you live at so they will go with you to your house for searching ..crime division of Malaysia don’t come in 4 , they come with the least 15 mobile police men and rela .. to enforce a fraud arrest from cyberjaya division or shal alam . Else why would Africans enforce them to leave the apartment ,if not that they are on illegal duty extorting foreigners , not just Nigerians , they do it to Pakistani, Indians , Chinese, Vietnamese, Thais and Filipino , Bangladesh n Naples malay police are currupt than our Nigerian police ...

Dont mind that idiot that branded the guy a drug dealer , I was housed by the guys friend when I was studying in Malaysia , so I know him too well , He says reloads of all networks in Malaysia , since some people don’t have visa they are scared of going downstairs to pay load or do some bills payments . They guys does that and takes his commission , he’s known by over a thousand Nigerians all through cheras area so he makes money , he had to diversify his business and went into car rentals , he gets cars from the locals on a cheaper price and rent to Africans on a higher price and makes twice the profit of what he paid the locals , were talking of cars from 2014 to 2019 all new and his good with Chinese and Malaysia’ns each car rental a day he makes from each car 10k naira or more after paying the car owner that loaned it out to him just for a day ooo I’m talking about one car he rents 10 a day we talking about 100k He’s not into drugs that guy suffered big time in Malaysia RIP to him anyway a total loss to the family

Don't get this you go to a center repeatedly for four days and show up heavily pregnant and no one could spot the scam? Cause am so sure if it's the same Nigeria I know she'll most likely have made acquitances at that Centers?
BTW this scam shouldn't have been made public she'll ruin chances of other pregnant women to be given preference
Bros everything in Nigeria is just so slow and backward , in few countries I have been to , they have priority lanes , for elderly people, disabled and pregnant women , for paying of bills , registeration of any kind and also restaurant, so she only improvised and the end result of what she did , paid off . mrright1979:
I decided to join a singles tour to Cebu, Philippines by A Foreign Affair for this coming

Jan. 25, 2018. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Philippine women; the fact that

they’re family-oriented, loyal and great mothers definitely made me want to marry one.

I want to make a great impression and succeed in this singles tour…

I want to make my expenses worth it. So, I’m here to ask some questions:

what are the things I should be expecting when being with a Filipina?

What are the things I should be wary of? What are the things I shouldn’t do?

I have many more to ask but for now I could really use some answers to these questions.

Help me succeed please!

Bros to start with most Philippine women are really not loyal to make a wife, just a few are loyal, they crave for whites/Caucasian so much, I have lived with them and see them do things , they are always crushing on who ever they choose to crush on , they sleep with your friend at the slightest given opportunity, they sleep with virtually all your friends living together in the same flat ,they also have love for money ,from Manila, bacoor, cebu Laguna, laspinas and other environs , I don't see myself dating any of there ,women , theres high risk of you getting std from them cuz they hate using condoms .
