From my conversations with some people here in the forum and also from my personal experience, the Sharan is a reliable car. But loke someone said, avoid the vr6 version. Personally i have never attempted to buy it.

Alao note that the Ford Galaxy, seat alhambra share mostly same components.

Price wise, i discovered that the Sharan is more expensive than the two above mentioned cars.

First preference should be without question the VW Sharan, essentially because VW have far better build quality and therefore long term durability.

Have you considered using the diesel engine of you are buying three vehicles then you are going to save a lot more in the long term.

Diesel engine have far more resilience than the comparable petrol engines and have far more torque ideal for load carrying as well as almost double the fuel economy.

Thanks for your reply and feedback. I have been advised to not purchase a diesel engine for the VW sharan. Specifically I was told because diesel is expensive and that eventually if the diesel engine starts getting problems, its difficult to fix. So basically, I have only bought petrol engines so far. What can you say about the problems with diesel engines, etc?

The Galaxy, Sharan and Alhambra share the same platform from this joint venture. A number of parts are shared. But much more with the Seat Alhambra and Vw Sharan which are essentially the same just different badges.

My preference would be for the VW better quality and reliability, followed by the Alhambra. But in all cases the 1.9tdi

Sorry I am replying to this late. I did manage to ship a VW Sharan 2.0. I was advised in this forum to go for the 2.0 engine. I also recently got a Galaxy 2.0. So far, I think no worries.

Now i want to place my first bid, but i have a problem.

1. Pick the car up at copart n deposit at the port after winning the bid.
2. Process the RORO shipping n send bill of lading/telex release to me.
3. Charge me only for his services without adding a cent to the RORO shipping.

I will be very happy if you can be of help by recommending a trusted fellow/company that you used successfully.

Not necessarily. The platform is intended to be directly utilized by buyers and sellers. You dont need any third parties all.

One never conpletely remove middle men in most industries. But I think it is possible to transact business with car makers and rice millers. For e.g you can get a dealership or in the case of rice millers you could make direct contact with them to market their rice? Thats why you see lots of rice sellers around.

HOW WOULD THIS BE DONE?

1: PROPERTY PLATFORM ON BLOCKCHAIN:

I. The Property Platform would be built on the Blockchain where people can can buy, sell and rent property directly without the need for
estate agents, solicitors or conveyors.

II. The project would utilise Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning to improve the efficiency of conversions and further improve the
efficiency of the product.

III. The Platform will generate revenue from successful property sales and additional bolt-on services along with advertising, commission from
mortgage brokers and third party service providers.

2:RAISE FUNDS IN ICO TO LAUNCH PLATFORM

I. The project would raise funds to develop and launch the Blockchain version of the platform.

II. ERC20 token called ‘Agent Not Needed (ANN) tokens’, would be sold as utility tokens to be aused as platform credits.

IV. Conversion of listed properties into tradable digital assets: Properties on the platform would be converted into digital tradable assets. The assets would be encrypted as digital files containing all information regarding a property and its ownership.

V. Option to provide buyers a mortgage: An option to be provide mortgage solutions would be provided. This would be at the option of the interested party through the use of third party provider. If the party already has a mortgage, buyer will be required to upload these documents for verification. Once accepted buyer will only be able to place offers up to the price they have a mortgage for. If a mortgage isn’t required, then proof of available funds will be needed. Offers on multiple properties will be allowed as long as the combined offer value doesn’t exceed the buyers limit.

VI. Use of ERC20 digital tokens (ANN TOKENS): The project would raise funds for the property platform by selling called ANN tokens. ANN utility tokens would be native to the Agent not Needed Platform. Tokens would be used to:

Dear Car Talk gurus

I intend to start a small commercial transport business using MPVs. I intend to start out with 2 or 3 cars for long distance between states in the northern part of the country.

My choice of cars are: Either Ford Galaxy or Volkswagen Sharan all petrol engines.

My questions are:

1: Which is the better option between the two cars? taking into consideration performance fuel efficiency, durability, etc.

2: What is the ideal manufacturing years to buy? I am looking at between 2000-2003? I could lower or higher, no problem.

3: What engine size to go for? Sharan: 1.8Turbo, 2.0, 2.8 (VR6)? Ford Galaxy: 2.0, 2.3, 2.8 (VR6)

4: Automatic or manual drive?

5: Any other tips or info all welcome

Really dangerous bro...I don't know if those who still ate gala have ever asked themselves this quest: Gala expiry date is just within 10days and so where do the expired gala/sausage go to?........... They are simply sent back to d company and are been recycled and sent into d market again.......TELL ME Y WE NO GO SICK.....even if it does not affect some now, it's killing them slowly.... same thing many bread manufacturers do for spoilt bread.......

You are very right. The issue is just food security problems that we are facing in the nation. There are no appropriate yardsticks for determining what citizens consume or what comes to the market. Today, we have so much food insecurity as a result of influx of Genetically Modified Foods(GMO). About 80-90 percent of maize in the market today is GMO. 90-98 percent of soya beans is GMO. Some tomatoes are also GMO. I heard sometime the mininstry of agric would import more GMO seeds. These GMO have been known to cause cancers or tumors. The effect is that most our indigenous crops likd maize are gradually being phased out and replaced by GMO.

The other problem is lack of policy direction from the Govt. there is no labelling, no research underatken by govt to determine what we consume.

This forum is not enough for me talk about all these issues.

My advice to people is to eat local, stay away from canned foods, eat yams, cocoyams, local rice like ofada, etc etc. And dont forget to detox your body once in a while from all the chemicals we eat. Try to also exercise as nuch as you can.

For me i think the battle against consumer protection is at a personal level. Watch what you eat! And pass on the message! Peace
