Since you like jumping on the bandwagon. you should know the US had already successfully test their hypersonic cruise missile. Putting a ramjet or fuel engine on a missile will make it hypersonic.
If you had taken time to read about this missiles that isn't successful, you'd see its process is not so simple.
The booster has to first disengage from the plane, fire up to hypersonic speed, disengage before the missile fire up its own fuel engine and complete the course.
that's a lot of error points but you won't know that.

Adding a fuel engine ramjet to propel a missile to hypersonic speed is what's out there and it's simple to achieve.
