I called Nysc secretariat Lagos n I asked if there's anything wrong with having a medical fitness certificate issued by a medical centre, the man whom I spoke to told me that as long as the medical centre is owned by the government and the certificate is duly signed by a medical doctor then I av no issue. The important thing is to make sure your medical certificate is gotten from a govt/ military owned hospital or health center and make sure it is duly signed by a medical doctor. Thanks.

1. I did my medical fitness certificate in a Local Government Healthcare center yesterday but since one guy like that told me that NYSC don't accept Local Government medical certificate, I ve being worried. After all the blood drawing using syringe and the cash I paid. Abeg how true is this?

2. I recently begin to find myself loving and wishing I get posted to a state (Kano) I greatly feared. Does anyone feel this way too?

I also did mine at a local government health center, and I did the test there. So don't listen to anyone NysC stated govt/military hospitals, health centers fall into that category Abeg. I no fear neither will I do another medical fitness certificate.

It has been said during the orientation ceremony today with NYSC official that the vaccination is free that nobody should border themselves on where or how much to do it. According to Mr Chukwu he said that the immunization will be done on camp. But if you have the money to do it that it is for your own convince. I ask them all the questions during the orientation. Thank you for your understanding.

My friend that passed out with Batch A stream II last week gave me his waist pouch. (New one, he never use it before)

I got my certificate of fitness in a General hospital Free and at the spot. (I no spend Ten minutes).

If 1992 is Wat is on her WAEC result then she can apply for change of DOB, I think Nysc does it with WAEC verification pin, I believe more info will b given to u here, also try contacting your state secretariat for better info.

If you study the above timetable technically, you will realize that only batch A orientation date was released.

Compare the above with the previous batches (batch B 2015, batch A 2016 and batch B 2016), "stream 1 Orientation date" was first released on the timetable. After which "stream 2 Orientation date" followed suit.

I can categorically state that there won't be any "stream" in this batch.
