The remaining bonus is still on My phone. I was so surprised because MTN rarely gives Me such bonus.

tushbobo:
What you are doing wrong is that you haven't learnt basic checkmating techniques.
With queen rook and pawn, what you should do is leave your pawn alone and perform the "queen and rook roll" or the "bicycle".
If the pawn is advanced you may promote it and still mate with "queen and rook roll".
Ideally, you should be able to win with the rook and king or queen and king if that's the only available material.
In the "queen and rook roll" the queen supports the rook two ranks away as it checks the opponent king. When the king moves, the queen comes to the same rank as the rook to check the king. The process is repeated rolling the king back till it's mated.
In the bicycle, the queen and rook form barriers on 2 ranks or files while alternately taking checking the king forcing it to move back till mate.
You can google these on google images to have a pictorial idea. A picture means more than a thousand words u know.

No matter how I move, the computer king finds a way. Ok I will try your tutorial.

joywendy:
i also advise that you play more with humans than computers. cause this computers are programmed in different levels. it would get to a point that you will begin to get frustrated because of your inability to win and instead of you trying to learn from your mistakes, you don't cause you are just focus on defeating the computer which has already been programmed to 'win'

That's true.

Do you know that MTN gave Me 500% bonus on recharge for MTN calls but I don't know the expiring time.

Pls is there any site for free video in bb that does not stream? My BIS wastes alot. Pls help me

Do Buffering on Waptrick.

kudoxs:
will i get the kodi on playstore

You can download applications there.

Another shortcoming is that you will be looking for cheats.

Radoillo:
You are probably speaking for ur own town and not for all 'Ibos'.

Yes My town is an example.

A trial on NOKIA X2-01.Red colour
Another trial on NOKIA X2-01.Purple colour

I registered at Dopemu area at Egbeda but I didn't collect My temporary card because no printer then; last November now that I want to collect PVC; My name is not on the register.

joywendy:
lol....computer no wan lose

The computer isn't cheating you, you have problems with checkmating. You need to learn the different ways of checkmating. There is rook and king mate, queen and rook mate etc.

Ok I will surely try to win chess on computer.

Collinz2:
thats how computer play always looking for stalemate

@joy; good job done in explanations. I have really updated My knowledge of chess. I play with computer but very tough to win even when I have My King, Queen, rookie, and a pawn Whereas the computer has Just the King left I will still be unable to checkmate. The king will keep finding a way until a draw is declared. Is the computer cheating Me or what?

Checkmate.

Collinz2:
RAM

RAM is tied to phone memory; which is un-removable memory.

All these useless banks; they accept deposit but when you want to withdraw, they tell you the account is dormant.

DjAndroid:
Don't you know what is called RAM?

Ok phone memory I guess.

Power bank is good for phone batteries only that some batteries may not be compatible with some type of power banks.

anthoniaz:
Same thing here with my S3.Ever since I started using power bank I've discovered that the battery doesn't last as it used to.I charge it every minute now.

You cannot compare power bank charging with normal phone charging power bank is an emergency charger.

korel9:
Wow!

"Using a phone while charging and on power bank mode destroys the battery"

Just hearing of that.

This is why I love NL

Does this mean I should ALWAYS switch off when charging my phone?
Cos sometimes unsolicited calls come in while charging the phone.

Better.

ITbomb:

samtoye:
Hello,

I can access Nairaland on my phone but anytime i try posting or replying a topic it writes on the screen. " you have lost your posting priviledges; Reason Broody attitude". I dont think this case applies to me since i have never had issues on Nairaland.

I use a Blackberry 8120 phone with Blackberry Internet Service by MTN, i have tried the blackberry browser and Oprah browers but it gives same result. Does anybody have same problem and can webmaster do something about it?

(Hope i posted in the right section)

Try using Opera-mini or another phone. If brings the same result means is you have been banned.

The charger can be repaired only that most phone engineers will be reluctant to spend time repairing a phone charger that cost less. I have repaired phone NOKIA charger on some occasions so phone charger repair is possible.

ITbomb:
MTN Supersaver+
(somehow same as smoothtalk)
40k/s for first minute then 15s to all networks.

Good for businessmen that make calls irrespective of network or location (like homezone) . N100 gets you 10+ minutes.
You also have 10 + 15 = 25mb every week in case your phone is just for chats

Please what is the code for migration to MTN super-saver+

ITbomb:
No but it won't last for any other thing. I'm talking about the very basic uses especially for people that have another device say tablet or iPad or laptop for browsing

If you are a heavy Internet user or facebooker you better get a subscription

But at least that will be suitable for a person like Me who uses simple phones.
