FrancisTony: Story! Story! Story!

Remove 'Adeboye' from that your list.

He's a product of UNN. He only completed the small of part of his education in OAU during the outbreak of civil war.

Btw, I don't understand government neither do I visit Politics section. gringrin
Just a question!
If oau and unn were said to be the only secondary skul in my area. During my sss1 and sss2 session I attended unn, but I decided to do my wassce in oau. Which of these skuls do you think I will get my original result(ssce) From?

Compare this situation to Sir Adeboye's

Your final answer is left for your own consumption sha

EducationRe: I Think Oau Ife Is Over Hyped by emekakelvin(m): 10:34pm On Jul 26, 2014
FrancisTony: Chinua Achebe is father of African Literature.

WOLE Soyinka is a Nobel priye Laureate.

Give us ground breaking award or significance Pastor Adeboye and Femi Falana have made.

Yes, Pastor Adeboye is a product of UNN but he completed the remaining part of his education in OAU.
[b] Francis, as a matter of fact, I do not like bragging about any skul and their achievement. It's very clear that any time when oau as a skul is being mentioned, you air in your opinion and name the skul "Grand papa achievement".

Let go a bit political, do you know the current forces to reckon with when you name Nigeria politics? They are the Likes of Sir ernest shoneka, Buhari, Babaginda, Obasanjo and et.c. The last among these names to be in office as at when they first tested power was Babaginda which lasted till 1993. Without doubt, their influence can still be seen in Nigerian politics. Why not you called Nigeria a country of past glory?

There is a point I am trying to make here. Oau made her mark in the early "90s, but the people she graduated during that period are the people ín vogue in different forum of Nigeria. For example, Sir Adeboye of Redeem who was once a mathematics lecturer in Unilorin before becoming pastor. Do you know femi falana? He was once an Aviation minister? Do you know that the present governor of ondo state was once an oau student?

What about our current cbn governor? Mrs Sarah "She is also an oau alumnus. I am just trying to correct your wrong impression of airing that oau is a granda skul of glory.
Interms of hype, Oau may be flawless in this situation because of her calendar. A country without stability may be weak to strike a balance when she recovers. --->>>>Same applies to institution like uni, poly,et.c
My case I rest

EducationRe: Intelligence Over Creativity. by emekakelvin(m): 11:46pm On Jul 24, 2014
You may be intelligent and end up not being creative. The attribute of being intelligent are sometimes innate, but they are related to environmental factor.

An intelligent man is someone who follows lay down principle to solve human problem, while a Creative man is someone who puzzle a solution when the lay down principle aiint bringing result.

From the look of things, I am creative man for getting you of this confusion(question) bothering your mind. Am I not huh?grintonguewink

When you are creative you are intelligent, but being intelligent does not match creativity. Creativity is the key cheesy

davidmascot: Someone told me the problem of accommodation won't make the merger possible.
[b]You have got a brain brother. #Cheer

Just add this to your archive. Oau as a uni has turn to be a business merchandise where profit is their major goal. She wont settle for less just to favour the incoming 2014/15 aspirant, rather she will rush her new academic calendar.

Remember, the pume is schedule august 2, and from what I have heard the new academic calendar will kick off after the Gubernational election in osun state.. Do you know that oau always release her cutoff a month after pume, if this is true, expect the cutoff come september 2. From the claims of people, there will be merging, but how will this merging issue be possible if the skul resumes august and by september/october they have not finalise the document of the current Jambite. Do they expect the current/stallite to stay at home at watch them wash their dirty linen in public? What about those people planning to do their project --- I mean some final students as at 2012/2013 Session?

Let forget about accomodation for now, do they have the adequate teaching facilities? How many student can amphil theatre contain at a go? Consider those student offering special elective, do you want them to suffocate?

All these question are nt meant for you sha oh, they are meant for rumour mongers grin

EducationRe: As Ogba Femi Still Remains Closed, What And Where Do You Miss? by emekakelvin(m): 9:19pm On Jul 22, 2014
cool I think bolaji based his argument mainly on the pitch and the bush behind the goal post. The pitch in block4 is regarded as one of the best in awo and they even term the pitch Sansiro, but during my few days in ife as at june, the field is deserted due to lack of ball and concrete on the field. Another point to note is that when any player kicks the ball over the goal post, he/she must be willing to buy another or risk his breath for few hour's due to feaces in the bush.

In terms of convenience, I think self help is ok, because most of mine block mate normally take their bath and defeacate at self help bathroom and toilet respectively due to the comfort they find there

Afolabi6046: Which Self Help? Ar u trying to describe block 4? Is it that white conducive block with spacious rooms wit jst 5bunks? A block that has it's own buttery? With d largest pitch? With neat toilets nd bathrooms where water flows?
Abeg wic Self Help ar u talking abt?
We all knw all rooms in Ife ar disgusting compared to d ones we sleep at hum buh d Self Help i stay is one of d bearable in AWO.

Is OAU missing her students' huhhuh

Just a question, do you miss her Bacteria infected water, do you miss her bad and congested room(s). If there is anything to miss in oau, I think I have not seen such. Two weeks' and all the these miss abi na misses might just be a speck in the eyes of a duck.
