Good news for France scholars.
|
Communication is key. look at how they abandoned LSS scholars before eventually contacting them recently. Nitda is behaving in similar fashion. During the interviews, ptdf said they were going to make arrangements for the safety of their scholars if the pandemic stretches. I know of a UK school whose last coronavirus update was on the 12th of June. They plan to hold the program in small units for laboratories and some classes, virtual for others... students will be provided with washable face coverings. Resumption for international students will be in Oct, Nov and Jan depending on the programme. Isolation from September, on arrival and they're informing you now. They concluded by saying that they'll keep adding updates and that the admission committee is working from home and doing it's best. As an applicant, after reading such updates and knowing the plans ahead you'll feel happy and plan with direction. The schools who won't accept students for this session are informing such students as soon as they are offered admission. At least you are not left in the dark. In this case, our people are saying the process has been suspended indefinitely. Is June not already long enough to tell applicants what they should be expecting? Will there still be sponsorship this year? candidates, get admission and wait for feedback from us... nothing nothing. Las Las it is not covid that'll stop some from traveling, maybe admission issues. Don't forget they have contacts in those approved Unis. Haba Wetin sef. This is how things are run in Nigeria and some directionless citizens begin to make excuses for them. |
EdoBoy90:Yes! but must you go to any of those schools? if one really wants to start this year, he/she should apply to schools that will hold programmes this session. some have the plan for 14days isolation for international students on arrival. Do we even know when the pandemic will end... na this session sure pass o |
Abokii8:I feel it should be out this June. scholars going to Germany will do some processings with DAAD. The list release is already getting late sef. |
EdoBoy90:abegi... that's what they've been telling LSS scholars.... I just submitted my application for admission today. Hope dey by God's grace. If not now? when? |
Abokii8:After induction ceremony. They verify credentials uploaded by matching them with physical papers before presenting award letters. |
29Ade07:Good news! Cancellation isn't even an option. ko possible rara. Let's wait for interstate travel ban to be lifted and see the next line of action. |
any news on OSS? |
UK universities are optimistic that international students would arrive in September, self isolate for 14days then start their programmes early October. so resumption dates are in October, November and January, depending on the situation of flights at that time. The programmes will be done face-to-face in small groups, online for some modules and physically over telephone. Schools are making arrangements for automated entry and exit doors to ensure social distancing etc. In France, some schools would commence online learning then face to face in January. For some others, the whole session won't include new international students. Only EU students and already existing international students. In Germany, admission is quite uneasy to get. Deadlines are here already. No information yet on how international students will begin their programmes. ........... Cancelling the process shouldn't be an option. Who does that? During the interviews, ptdf said they would work out modalities for the safety of their scholars even if the pandemic reaches September. Also, availability of admission and international flights by September should be the only issue. what if the pandemic stretches for longer than ever expected? will they stop human capacity building through overseas scholarships? They should release list fes, or conclude and release list let's know where we stand fes. Traveling this year is not a must. But knowing whether we succeeded in the interviews is compulsory. Cancel bawo? |
I pray they don't cancel it..... especially for Msc applicants who have already been interviewed. |
Newcastle2023:Okay |
AjayMain:you think they care about admission deadline? |
Suspended indefinitely.... their response till today |
Abokii8:My Guy, even you sef follow dey reason this matter? well... just chat them up via their whatsapp line. make e no shock you |
Clinton12345:You can't completely blame all these jobless e-diots. PTDF itself should have done well to give us updates knowing fully well admission applications have windows. |
Pogba12:Somebody's Goat has run loose. |
EnvConsultant:Who is your own source sef? The executive secretary? Say more! No be by confidence. |

Pogba12:I've checked... there's nothing there. Give straightforward information. you got a mail from ptdf? |
Pogba12:Guy, respect yourself na |
Sweating.... this life no easy o. Chai |
Sam3263:Hehehe... My guy wan vex. List or mail usually comes at night sha... sometimes past 10pm sef |
Thanks MrPhysics Any plans to extend admission window? I know ecole centrale de Nantes is closing application on the 15th of May. same as many others. Most in Germany will be closed 31st May. Alot of confusion! PTDF might be aware and wouldn't want last year's experience repeat itself. |
jlomz:working from home cannot be an excuse, besides not all members of staff are working from home. Also, only few members of staff have access to the list or decide on it, others will know about it just when it has been released. let's exercise patience, May 14th is very close. The guy has done well by confidently passing across the information he has. Even if it doesn't happen on that day, we move! |
FatimaMK:An Msc candidate who fails to show up on his scheduled interview date will be interviewed on another date only if it falls within the Msc timeline. Once Msc interviews are over, all Msc candidates profiles are automatically locked. They'll simply ask such a candidate to try again. We pray and hope for the best from Allah, may the list Carry our names. |
Try UNN |
PhysChemist:it was only a recommendation. federal government has made her own comment. ptdf stands. Pppra and pef will be under a single department of the ministry of petroleum. PTDF stands! |
