I have carefully checked through one of the schools in France-Grenoboe to specific- and am highly impressed by the rigourous nature of the programme which includes 5 months internships, strong emphasis on research, opportunity to work with good companies just within the neighbourhood of the university and chance to specialise e.t.c. This and much more appears better than what Imperial, Birmingham is offering. Yes Imperial and Birmingham have the world class name but I am looking well beyond the programme.

I don't want to make decision base on name of the school or opportunity to live in UK only.

you seem to have good points.... but at this point, you can't change your choices. it is possible to get any of those countries miraculously though. for me, any destination is still soft since I stand to lose nothing.
major issue now is for the process to get completed!

PTDF management or selection committee determines the format. last year it was point based format where distinction in WAEC is 30pts, First Class is 30pts, Second Class Upper is 25pts and so on.

No one knows this year format yet for shortlisting.

you're right bro... it is called a formula sheet, I got to know about it after my class was once taught by a US based Nigerian professor. But in this case it is cheating, they were not asked to prepare and go in with formula sheets. this particular formula sheet carries bombs... with stuff like u = mean Haba!
On formula sheets, one wouldn't define parameters. just formulae.
Our prof then had to be with us during the exam, else na expulsion things o. lol

Hey Bro. I think this is the way teaching works. You dont cram formulas. I'm also teaching a class here and we had the first test last week. The prof asked them to write the formulas in a plain sheet and bring it with them. People who invent understand principles not formulas. He said that they only want to test how they can use the formula

Study Update 3:

Today, we were asked to make some calculations and I collected a calculator from one of my Chinese classmate. After using the calculator, I tried closing it and returning it back to him. Unfortunately, the attached is what I saw. It was some formulars for the exam we wrote last semester (month). After now, these guys go dey claim say they are better than us. Upon all these, God is helping us pull through though it's been difficult. Lol

Don't ever try it because you will be caught unless you wanted to use local government of origin within the same state. But to use interstate origin it most be from the same region like south south or south west or north central because of the name.

A friend applied for MSc last year and made it to the interview stage but was not among the successful ones because of some reasons during the interview. he asked me if he can still use the same personal statement or statement of purpose that got him to the interview last year or do you propose he drafts another one.

shortlisting for interview is not based on sop... they use class of degree and Olevel grades. who'll possibly read the sop of 27k applicants?
