Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 12:1-3
For every instruction from God, there is a blessing attached when it’s obeyed. When God called Abram, He was told various promises he stands to get if he obeys and follows God without questions. But not until Abram was 75 that he decided to follow God out of Chaldean that is why our text says, ‘now the Lord had said’, meaning, it was not when God told him that he obeyed.
As long as Abram delayed in obeying God, the blessings delayed.
God doesn’t instruct you if He wouldn’t bless you, He doesn’t assign you for a job if He wouldn’t reward you for the job.
Stubbornness in following God’s leading leads to delay in experiencing God’s blessings.
God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered? Job 9:4, as long as Abram was hardening his heart against following God and never left out of Chaldeans, he never prospered, we only begin to hear about him when he started following God. Your story and destiny realization begins when you decide to obey God.
It was not easy for Abram the father of faith to follow God out of Chaldean the then civilized world, its not easy obeying God, because God would always ask you to do what your locations and conditions wouldn’t want you to do but if you obey God anyway, He will make you partakers in the blessings of the obedient.
I pray that the Lord bless us with an obedient spirit so that we won’t delay in following Him when He calls in Jesus name.

The bible has been proved to be scientifically true and historically accurate. All the stories in the bibles are so true that even the most sceptical man can’t disprove it. Recently the skull of Goliath with the stone still inserted on his head from David’s slingshot was unearth in the valley of Elah, west of Jerusalem by a team of archaeologist lead by a German scientist Dr. Martins Richard and confirmed by bible scholars to be the very skull of goliath.
If none can come out to disprove the truth of God’s word, then the word of God will always come true though it be challenged.
The signs of the end of days that the word of God predicted are being fulfilled in our very eyes and likewise, every one of the promise of God would be proved true in your life.
Take with you the word and promise of God, keep every condition attached to it and then prove if God will make good that promise and I tell you, you’ll never be disappointed at all.
Let’s learn to prove God’s word and we’ll see that His word is so so true.
His promises on health, fruitfulness and unending prosperity in every aspects of your life will always come through. Test; use the name of Jesus and rebuke that sickness and see if it won’t disappear, pay your tithe and give offerings towards God’s work and see if you won’t be blessed financially etc.
