Nigerian artistes are doing good now compared to there counterparts around the globe.check out there achievements, Tu Face Tu Face is the owner of Hypertech Entertainment and 2babba, a clothing line. Unassuming but very rich, Tu Face also bought for his dear mum a Toyota Camry in 2005. Though domiciled in Festac, Lagos at present, the father of two is already putting up a structure in Lekki where he hopes to move in with his close-knit family. In fact, sources disclosed that he has bought a duplex worth N25 million in Festac. With album sales in excess of 1.5 million copies and a N30 million endorsement deal from Guinness Extra Smooth, there is no doubt about Tu Face’s financial solvency. When the MTV, a bespoke African music channel base made a debut, his African Queen video was the first to be aired. A few weeks later, he got a princely N5 million as royalty. Towards securing his future, the multiple award-winning act has kept his stockbrokers and financial analysts cum advisers busy with the frenzy at which he buys shares, stocks and bonds in blue-chip corporations. Similarly, his investment in landed properties has continued to befuddle close associates. Tu Face is the owner of Hypertech Entertainment and 2babba, a clothing line D'Banj D’Banj’s ‘device’, however, came at a whooping N10 million,he got a whooping N25 million from Nutricima, makers of Nutri C juice drink, to endorse the company’s new power drink, Power Feast. In order to consolidate his soaring popularity, a source close to him disclosed that he is working on featuring LL Cool J and Akon, two top American musicians who were recently in Nigeria for the Star mega jam, in his forthcoming album. D’banj was said to have paid LL Cool J $100,000 while Akon got $75,000. The astute chap is banking on the attendant royalties to recoup his investment. Those close to D’banj say he is also scouting for a property where he hopes to site his new project, a multi-purpose entertainment centre called Koko Island which would have a discotheque, bar and restaurant.Like American artistes are wont to do, D’banj, vice president, Mo’ Hits Records, has also launched his own clothing line, Koko Wears Weird MC December 11, last year, Sola Idowu, the diminutive rapper fondly called Weird MC, who set alight the dance floor with that bouncy single, Ijo Ya, walked into an auto mart in Lagos and left with a brand-new Nissan Xterra Jeep valued at N3 million. Prior to that time, the artiste cruised around town in a Golf GTI she bought in the early part of the year. However, Weird MC prefers to be ferried around in the luxury confines of rented limousines from Executive Coach. Full-day limousine hire goes for between N50,000 and N80,000. Business-conscious and savvy, Weird MC has been acquiring land in major parts of Lagos like Lekki and a developing town in Ogun State. She hopes to move into her own house in due course. Dare Art Alade. Dare Art Alade, baritone-voiced singer and scion of Art Alade, late showbiz impresario, also plays big in the league of comfortable hip hop artistes. A former on-air personality with Cool FM, the 25-year- old also complements his income with compeering at high-profile shows. As an undergraduate of the University of Lagos, where he graduated with a degree in Music, Alade was big in every sense. Apart from staying in the BQ, that was usually reserved for lecturers and which goes at exorbitant fees, he also rode a power-bike and a Peugeot 505. After his participation in the Project Fame, a music talent hunt show that held in South Africa, the Channel O Video Music Awards winner whose debut album has continued to serenade music buffs, relocated to Abuja where he reportedly drives a Land Cruiser. P-Square. P-Square, duo of Paul and Peter Okoye, their relocation to Lagos from their former Jos, Plateau State base has brought with it commensurate rewards. In fact, the lifestyle of the twin brothers would make a successful banker consider a career detour. Alongside their older brothers who also double as their managers, they live in a posh flat in Ilupeju, a highbrow area in Lagos. Towards the end of last year, the twin brothers, courtesy their marketer, T. Joe, got a glittering Toyota Sequoia V8 to swell their fleet which included a Nissan Altima, a Nissan Pathfinder and a Land Cruiser jeep. Soon, the twins would be moving into Lekki Phase 1 where they are eyeing a few properties. The duo of P.Square also has considerable investments in multinational companies and recently delved into property acquisition. Lekki, the playground of the rich, is their choice. They have invested heavily in their parents’ bakery business. Early this year, they acquired an N80 million piece of land in Rayfield area of Jos, Plateau State. The 20-plot land might be the base of their hotel business. Modenine. Olusegun Babatunde, the rapper widely known as Modenine, just bought himself a multi-milion naira Nissan Terano jeep Jimmy Jatt Jimmy Jatt, dee jay extraordinary and prospective hip hop act, surprised industry watchers when he bought a GMC Envoy and Nissan Xterra jeep simultaneously! His wife, on the other hand, drives a classy RAV 4. For somebody who has spent the last one and a half decade propagating the ideals of the hip hop culture with his spin skills, there is no better way, perhaps, to enjoy the dividends of his sweat. Paul Play. Paul Play Dairo is not so fixated upon Lekki, Ajah, Victoria Island and the other hubs of the rich. The heir apparent to the late IK Dairo, veteran juju maestro musical dynasty, prefers the Queen’s enclave, London. It was gathered that the father of one got a mortgage to buy a mansion in a serene area of London. He runs Playground Entertainment and paints Lagos red in a BMW X5 jeep. Tony Tetuila. Tetuila, the Oro, Kwara State-born singer whose ascent to the top of his game has been nothing short of meteoric, investing the booties of the past few years in shares and stocks has helped to further secure a bright future. Sunny Nneji. Sunny Nneji was recently made the ambassador of the Tinapa project, an endorsement deal reportedly worth N40 million courtesy the Cross River State government. As if to buttress that he has really arrived, the Ogoja, Cross River State-born musician got himself an M Class jeep and passed over his former BMW 3 Series to madam. He also moved out of his former Alagbado residence into a more befitting duplex in Ogudu GRA. Hardly had he settled down to enjoy his loot when Chivita came with another endorsement deal worth about N15 million. In 1976 Sandy Allen was declared the “world’s tallest woman - living” by Guinness Book of World Records. Allen is a towering lady at 7′ 7 1/4″. Amazingly this is not far beyond the recognized world’s tallest living man - Xi Shun (7′ 8.95″). Allen has since spent her life traveling around the world encouraging people that it is OK to be different. Allen was born in 1955, at age 22 she underwent surgery to stop her growth. Without this she would have continued to grow and suffer further medical problems associated with gigantism. There is some debate on the internet about if Allen is still in fact tallest. De-Fen Yao has been measured at 7′ 8 1/2″. This has not been confirmed by Guinness Book though. (What do these people do?) she is still taller than Sandy Allen who can no longer stand up straight and is sadly confined to a wheel-chair now. If Sandy could still stand her bodyweight seems to have caused her back to arch so she can no longer be considered to be 7′ 7 1/4″. I agree that either way Gunness Book needs an update. Did you know that De-Fen Yao, the tallest woman alive, is 7'8 1/2"? Did you know that there are a lot of other Ladies out there who are taller than you? Women like basketball pro Malgorzata Dydek who is 7'2" or Allyssa DeHaan who is 6'9". Tall Models like Caro who is 6'9" (watch her appear on German TV) and Alexis (6'4" . Or (tall) women like my Sweetie Kathy who is 6'3" and the cutest person ever!Did you know that Brigitte Nielsen is 6'1"? Did you know that Geena Davis, Brooke Shields, Uma Thurman and American Idol Jordin Sparks are 6'0" each? They're celebrities you're saying? Well, you don't have to be famous to be beautiful and life doesn't end at 5'7". Tall women are gorgeous, ooze class and are great role-models for tall girls who may lack that little bit of confidence. A lot of women go to great lengths in order to stand out. You don't have to because you are outstanding as it is.

I wish i could come to NZ and see things myself,i believe racism exists evrywhere cos i have had my own share here in vancouver but i got over it. making money abroad isnt quite easy but with time you make it if you re determined and persisitent. |
blonde,my experiences are vast and im ready to share with you,i left Nigeria last year,12nov to be precise with full hope on living a fullfilled life compared to the type i lived in naija. My parents where so happy cos they had this feeling that i will strive on this streets, i did survive and thank be to God who has always and will always be with me. I was astonished and suprised when i saw other africans depending on there parents to survive here, while i never did that,i was only calling to tell them how beautiful and cool this place was, though i came with my fees and e very lil amount of money but ever since God has been substainimg me.the agent that arranged my travelling promised i will get a job while schooling but everything he said were lies, he did that just to make money from my parents, but i thank God im out though cos the university system is incomparable with that in naija. I have been surviving here, paying rents, feeding and also getting clothes, all these i buy from the proceeds of lil business did, i am very creative and this made me popular and connected.i organised the first real afro show in my department which brought me into limelight and also bropught food to my table, I can go on and on but let me know if you want to hear more , everyday is an experience so i can go on and on till seun get me out, where are you from and whats you name, |

Africans and mostly Nigerians have this feeling that life is better and easier lving abroad, parents wants there wards to school abroad and to make matters worst, after doing dubious businesses abroad, our people return and spend money extravangantly, portraing the fact that "Life is Better Abroad". Whats your opinion on this and what do you feel or think, have you been abroad or do you wish to travell out someday, this might be a usefull tip for you.I have my own experience which i think was a eye opener to me and i want to know others.I travelled because of my studies, though i'm not from a very rich family but my parents struggles and my faith brought me to this level. |
what i like doing, everyone has different opinion to discussions and i feel mine is exceptional, maybe its a problem but i feel ok doing what i do, and what is that, ? i love having sex |
