The governor is a member of the APC. The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Wednesday prayed publicly that the crisis rocking the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the national level should not be resolved. The governor also said he wants the crisis to spread to the state chapters of the PDP. Mr. Amosun, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, said the prayers in an interview with journalists in Abeokuta when he was asked by a PREMIUM TIMES correspondent to offer his advice on how to solve the PDP crisis. Mr. Amosun was a former member of the PDP. “I don’t pray or want their centre to hold anymore. Their centre will not hold, We should not want their centre to hold. Or do you want their centre to hold? No their centre will not hold, even you journalists should pray that their centre does not hold,” the governor said. Mr. Amosun said the PDP had been a thorn in the flesh of Nigerians, hence, the need for Nigerians to vote it out of power. He said the APC is set to address the pains meted out to Nigerians by the PDP. Mr. Amosun, who recently welcomed decampees from the PDP, said the Ogun APC is ready to defeat all opposition in 2015. He boasted that his administration’s performance will pave way for APC’s success at the polls in 2015. http://premiumtimesng.com/regional/144526-ogun-governor-amosun-prays-total-collapse-pdp.html |

When he is calm & diplomatic, they call him 'weak', when he shows restrain, they tag him 'clueless', when he smiles at the cameras, they label him a 'retard' & when he bares his fangs as the Commander-in-Chief, they now shout 'dictator'. U have got to marvel at the ever changing perceptions of Nigerians and their impossible expectations of their president |
habiolah: I really dont care about APC, but we all should condemn this show of shame by the Jonathan Administration. No matter who we suppoert, he shouldnt go against an express court order.
