House pls help, my huawei modem no longer sees ma sim. Whether there is a sim inside or not, it shows thesame thing. The modem still starts normally but doesn't show the network bars. When i click connect, it says d device has been disconnected or not available. Help o,

Hi all, i've been on Nairaland for a while but i'm totally new to this section. I use myTV with strong SRT 4658X decoder with all the free-to-air stations being religious stations . I've tried reading through all the threads for help but getting the right one is a problem. Can anyone pls give me SPECIFIC information(or reference to a thread where i can get such) on how i can add more free channels(anything entertaining be it movies, music or sports) to my mytv, thanks for helping!

Thank y'all for replying. it seems restoring to factory settings is the way forward, but as deji2009, how would i know if the recovery partition has been deleted or it's still there.

@skydancer, one last question. If i roll back to factory settings and then upgrade to windows7 ultimate 64bit from home basic 64bit, would i have ma full RAM and all drivers working perfectly? Thanks for your help

@skydancer, thanks for the reply, but, are you saying there is really nothing i can do to help the situation cuz i really dont like the old windows. besides, getting 64bit softwares seems kinda difficult in ma area. and if i want to do the recovery, how would i go about it??

I recently changed ma brand new hp pavilion g6 from windows 7 home basic to windows 7 ultimate, now the computer is a monster. I later discovered the person who helped me with the changing might have messed up but the solution is what i need now. Some of the problems that arised include: -ma experience index fell all the way from 4.0 to 3.3 -under system properties, ma RAM now writes 4.0gb(2.43gb usable) and the system is now very slow cuz of that. -installing softwares is now a pain in the Bottom(pes 2011 said ma video card doesn't meet the minimum requirement, call of duty said d3d*9_34.dll is missing from ma computer etc) and a couple of other problems, Computers gurus, pls what could i do to rectify all these, HELP ME!

Well reggie, i think you need to change two things about yourself viz the places you go and also your swagger. Go to the right places and meet the right people. I'm sure if you don't go to places where these people could see you, they ain't gon turn to birds and fly to where you are. Also, i think you need to improve your swagger especially if you're around these people. A sun-shade and an earpiece might help you. You get to the right places, put your smiles back on, ALL IMHO!
