So what you mean is that there will not be aptitude text they will select at random before medicals? I don't think so. I believe there will be written text, then shortlisting of about 20 candidates per state then before medical screening to select 5 candidates or more per state.

Let her apply for dssc. I studied pharmacology and I am applying under pharmacy. My friend in the Military Mr Yusuf is working as a pharmacist and told me that most of his collegues are not pharmacist but pharmacologist. So Mr I don't think It will affect her. If she merit it they wil surely give her and with good connections she wil be there.

Miz Tola I would advise you to apply for dssc. Besides, you are a professional if you are skilled in your discipline. Look for a closer course under dssc and apply. The most important thing is how intelligent and fit you are than your competitors.

Sir, I don't think you can apply because they may require your Nysc discharge cert. when you will be filling the form online. And besides, the sales of form will expire by May 12 except they extend the date.

So only you and your friends were able to secure pin just in a state outta of 36 states in nigeria. This is nigerian army application form not man o war form that could be designated to only one branch.

The Nigerian army has officially announced the sales of their form since 27th of March 2013 at www.nigerianarmyms.org. Some banks have managed to access the pin. One of such bank is Ecobank Onipanu. Ecobank Allen avenue promised on tuesday. There are other banks also having difficulties in generating the pin. So my friend you have no bases for what you're saying. Your information was based on an information you got from a forum of wish I also visited. LET ME GOOGLE THE WEBSITE AND PROOF YOU WRONG. Stupid imposter.

If you call them and they don't have the form tell a them to direct you to a branch closer by where you can get the form.

cyril83: If the form is actually available at the specific bank, why haven't you got one for yourself. Are you now telling us that every states will have to go to ecobank at allen avenue in lagos before we could get the form. Am beginning to reason along with almajiri101 bcoz ecobank in my state dint even say any tangible thing abt the form,its like they've not received any signal frm nigerian army.

My dear cyril you can reason d way u want 2. I have my course and burden to bear and you have yours also. Wait till April 12 thats your own cup of tea.
For me, by Gods special grace I wil go and get mine on tuesday. When I went there on thursday to buy the form, the man in charge told me to come on tuesday, that for now they have not been able to generate pin, but that hopefully on tuesday the site will be up.
So my dear, you can even wait till next year April before you pick the form.

If you like to go to war, then apply for ssc. If you like to work in the office then apply for dssc.
My advise for you is that you apply for dssc.

phemywise: Wen I say professional course u should kno wot am talkin abt, if wot u are sayin is d case, den there shouldn't be anytin like SSC, av u really "read" thru d major diff? U don't expect an engine, medicine, nurse, music, archi, french graduate to apply under SSC. Wot am tryin2 say is dat one just av to be carefull not to disqualify oneself even b4 d whole process starts. Av leaved wit dem all my life, I kno wot am talkin abt.

Ssc is for combatants, i.e those who go to war to fight. If I am a doctor and chooses to apply as a combatant because I like to go to war, then it's my own choice. Being among the listed professional courses in dssc does not necessarily mean you cannot choose on your own to apply as a combatant.
Why combatant are mainly into fighting dssc's are mainly office military men. Although in some cases they can go to treat (for the medics) and provide logistics support( for psychologist and logist) during war.

Sir, I can't say. But just give a try. I wish it was possible for you to get an affidavit from the school sworn by the school to attest that they misplaced your primary school leaving certificate it would be lot better.

There is no course that is not in itself professional. If you are an expert in your field you are regarded as a professional in it. Nigerian army cannot list all the professional courses. So just look for a course closer to yours and apply. I have a friend who is in the army, he told me to apply under pharmacy because what I studied in school is pharmacology. He said it doesn't matter, that most of his friends working in the military pharmacy department are pharmacologist and not pharmacist. So my friend, you can apply and fit yourself to a course closer to your own. Thanks.
