Please be strong, if only you could see the future you would understand the reason for hope. Have you tried trusting Christ? (Not religion or pastors - Jesus who loved you enough to die for you)

@EmmanuelCann Based on your testimony, i want to believe that you are old enough, at least in your 50s sir?
Permit me to personally engage you to educate men in this thread sir.

I respect you, your elderliness is very clear, pls answer one question for me sir;

You obviously met mummy in the 19s and you of all people should by now be able to differentiate between calibres of women. Pls sir, ARE THE WOMEN OF THE 19s THE SAME AS THE ONES OF TODAY??
You are mostly correct in presuppositions and I appreciate your courteousness. I have been on Nairaland long enough to know how to anticipate and absorb insults where differences of opinion are involved.
To your question, I must be honest and answer - no, the women of the 90s aren't the same as the women of today, but neither are the men! There are good and bad people everywhere. As a general rule, like attracts like! If you were brought up to respect (men and women) and to fear God, I believe if you're patient and scrupulous enough you will find your female counterpart someday, somewhere.

Alusiizizi:
You know, there's an interesting buzzword among western academics called "mid-life crisis". This word names a condition that apparently afflicts an overwhelming proportion of men in their middle ages (35~50 yrs), which is characterized by a longing desire to return to youthful state, and exhibitions of behavior typically associated with men in their early to mid twenties.

Why is this condition so interesting? Because it was virtually non-existent before the early 1990's, that is, during the period when marriage would have made logical sense to a man and it is overwhelmingly more likely to afflict western men(ie. USA, UK, places where feminism and women's rights have held hostage the political arena). Now? Outside of brute force(ie. decree by some tyrannical government) there is no sort of argument that can be made to justify a man entering into that trap still being called marriage. When a man enters into this trap, he is deceived, not only by the bitch that lured him in, but his associates, the general media, his church, and society in general, all who lead him to believe that what he has entered is a good thing. Blinded by empty gestures and adulations he invests everything into this marriage, his bitch being the primary benefactor(one might object by bringing up children, but in these societies, when marriages fail, the bitch almost always gets custody of the children). One by one, the most productive years of his life pass him by(for example, if he had the capacity to become a CEO/Owner of some big international business operation, that potential will never be realized because all of his attention is being paid to this marriage and the bitch he has to satisfy. The ancients, as usual were right. "Behind the fall of every man can be found a woman".) Eventually he grows wise, usually around his early forties. Wise enough to see that he had been deceived, wise enough to see that he had invested the most productive years of his live and gained absolutely nothing in return, those years being invested into maintaining the marriage and the bitch instead of being used to increase his status and power as the man that he is. This is the source of mid-life crisis. That urge to set back the clock and erase the mistake made in the past. Men of today suffer this condition for a few years, eventually getting even wiser, wise enough to realize that their efforts are futile, nothing that they do will ever earn them another chance at youth, and they are then forced to accept the mistake that they made in their youth and live with it.

They say the truth is bitter but must be told. This is the truth about modern marriages. The truth is the red pill and the red pill is a bitter pill to swallow. At the same time swallowing the red pill is a matter of choice. Marriage and a life of useless slavery or freedom and a chance to attain glory and position? The choice is yours.
