The offer is a big determinant for some people..so an idea would actually be helpful as we know the process is rigorous.. it'd be very helpful so it may spare some people the stress of going through it and seeing a disappointing offer.

Per annum..No company in Nigeria pays GTs 24m per month Na lol... please just say yes or no to the question..not asking for the exact amount

Lol! I didn't humble him. I just put him where he should be. I understand him being excited doing his SIWES in Bonny and all that. But he was peddling some incorrect bits of information that many of us knew were blatant lies. I was peeved to see him authoritatively state that NLNG gives GTs ₦30m in their first month of training! This is not only a blatant lie, it is bordering in insanity. I know how many GTs were hired (and Waitlisted) the last time around. And I know for a fact that none of them was given ₦30m in Month one or any month during their training.

It's perfectly fine to want to help and guide the prospective GTs but it's completely senseless to be peddling such falsehood. I know a lot of people in and around NLNG, especially in Bonny believed that GTs were probably earning hundreds of millions of Naira. But na lie abeg.

Please two quick questions boss

(a) do u advice we add a cover letter (b) is the pay up to 24m net..just a yes or no would help please��

A friend just remember the password to his email that he used to register for NNPC GT and saw that he was among the successful GT selected
the Problem there is that he is no longer using the number and address he used to apply for NNPC GT.

At each month end. Why would an organisation pay 3-6 months later? Except if you start say 15th of the month, meaning they may have processed payfoll for that month and you have to wait till the next payroll.

So please can u 1.Give a rough estimate of upfront (either in 2012 or the amount now)?? 2. Will it be prorated since it's almost middle of the year? 3.when will it be paid?

Please does NNPC pay immediately after ur first working month ends or they wait till 3-6 months like a lot of MDAs do?

You may be surprised that even if you were pitched against those from the so called "North", you may still not be among the top 25 from some of those states. The fact that Federal character was used does not mean it favours the "North". It may well be that if that criteria was not used, there may be disproportionately more people from the north employed that from the south and this will lead to acrimony.
I know the general idea is that the "North" benefits more but that does not mean there are not many smart people from there.
During my set, after FSTP, there were more people from the "South" at the bottom than from the "North". And all those sacked for forgery were from the "South". So chill, lets keep striving for a better Nigeria.

And I even have a more fundamental problem which is I no longer have access to the email address I used in applying for the job. So if I have been sent success mail now I DNT even knw..so I want to as if a text message was sent before the mail so I can clear my doubts

please find a way to get the email log in details..coz I was only sent a success mail, no SMS...
