There are too many programs to do for a day, reason why have not uploaded pictures.

So I kicked off the trip with city of Miami bus tour yesterday morning.

Name of the tour company is double decker bus tour company.
I paid $30 for the trip.
It was fun.
Went to little Havana area of the city.
Showed us hotels were part of Scarface was shot.
Took the Cuban mojito. I think this is their own alcohol and a Cuban sandwich.
Likewise other things

After another back and forth, calling and typing on screen, I was cleared.
After all these stress coupled with Egypt/Morocco issue, I had nothing to do in the plane from Calgary to Denver than just silently and quietly praying for Nigeria and Africa as a whole for God to just help us.
I am not a fan of prayers nor am I a chronic Christian but I had no choice than just to keep praying for Nigeria to be good.
A strong country economically won’t be passing through high visa bans, border scrutinies and stress like this.
A UK, Canadian, Australian citizen to name a few won’t need an embassy visa, border scrutiny like me.
I don’t blame them sha. It’s well.
I don’t know if election can change anything nor prayers but I just had to just sha pray.

Then came the second phase - US border immigration.

Have you been in US before? No.

Then I was taken to another room for a secondary assessment.
After so many back and forth, I was allowed to check-in.
Then after announcing the check-in starting to enter the plane, the boarding section checked my ticket and visa once again and claimed my visa has been flagged by immigration that I can’t board the plane - Ohhhhh, not again please, not again

I had little trouble at Calgary airport.
First, I was told all my bookings had gone out of their system because I didn’t check it at my city airport. Skipping it without informing them means I didn’t show up at the airport and missed the flight, therefore the system canceled all flights in the booking totally - ghenghen.

Not again please, not again.
Why is there always issues when I want to travel especially for vacation for God sake.
It was Egypt/Morroco early this year for the African cup of nations tournament where I was turned back at the last minute at the airport and now this again?
After so many back and forth, calling top managers, it was rectified and I was given ticket.

3. Monday morning City of Miami double decker hop-in/hop-out bus tour.
4. Monday afternoon- Boarding of Carnival conquest and sailing off by 15:30hrs.
5. Day 2 at sea. Just fun, total fun.
6. Day 3 - 8 hours at Celebrity keys island.
7. Day 4 - 8 hours at Princess Cay island.
8. Day 5. Arrive back in Miami by 8am and disembark.
9. Fligh back from Miami to Houston , Houston to Calgary and Calgary back home

Before I commence, remember: Whatever happens in Miami, stays in Miami.

Okay, let’s start.

I traveled from my province in Canada to US for this trip.

Let’s call my city MT.
I have Canada and US visas before but after booking the trip, I had to book a Bahamas visa for $160/ 220k. It came out in 10 days.
Requirements are police report, 6 months bank statements of at least 1.5m naira, flight in and out of US, hotel booking and cruise booking.
Everything was done online and got it by mail.

Did my cruise booking on booking.com likewise hotel reservations.
Bought Kolet eSIM that was globally - 1gb for 30 days that works globally. Something to use in between airport, hotel and city before getting onboard.

The itinerary is as follow -

Saturday - MT to Calgary by Bus.
I initially booked my flight from MT to Calgary on Sunday, Calgary to Denver and then Denver to Miami but after paying, noticed I only have a short time of 75 mins to move from local airport section of Calgary to international airport, so my booking, pass through immigration and then board the flight.
I knew it wasn’t going to work. That I will miss the flight thereby missing the 2 subsequent flights altogether and missing the trip.
It was an early morning flight at 6am to Calgary so no other earlier options.
I had to forfeit the ticket and used 11 hours luxurious bus to Calgary a day before which was on Saturday.

You raised a good point

Avacap at #4.5 per share looks like a good pick because the it is trading at a discount to the fair value of #5.5 according to my calculation and with the incoming increase in asset under management, though increase in shares outstanding, i think it should get to between #10 to #15 in the short and medium terms.

CMFC at #2 i also very good pick.

Dangote Cement was listed at N135 in 2010, the stock price is now N1035 after 16 years. During this period they have increased the price of their product by about 300%, production capacity also increased. Unfortunately the compounded annualized growth rate of the stock price from N135 to N1035 is just 8.5%.

When I wrote about the listing price of Dangote Cement on SMN in 2010, I said the stock should not be listed above N80.

Assuming it was listed at N80 it compounded annualized share price growth rate would have been over 17%

but i believe adding the dividends in the past 16 years would have given it a good return.

the second important detail
is that the turks and pakis will heavily push to bring iran into the alliance

I read the UAE just expelled some pakistani citizens from their country.
I guess that is middle finger to pakistan for not intervening against the Houthis who i think have captured some islands covertly used by UAE and mossad at the red sea.
They are trying to send a message to pakistan. We can't be employing your workers, paying them good salary relative to your economy, sending money home yet you are useless to us.

I was a strong anti-japa person before but when i read the arguments between japa and anti-japa crew on nairaland with an open mind, compare and contrast, i decided to give it a shot.
Panso once even said ''Nigeria will always be our country, so leaving for few years to come back either better or not is worth taking the steps.
We used the study route - 2 years schooling plus a 3 years PGWP and after, we will see how it goes.
Moreover, i have been losing alot in my business partly due to my unavailability and partly Nigeria factor.
So, exploiting alternative routes or options is not bad afterall

I understand your points very well and have taken them into consideration when making taking this action and i have put some things in place incase things go against my plans.

My building is still in Nigeria, job is still in Africa and my stocks and bonds still intact. So i believe i am in safe hands.
Abut LGBT, i enrolled my kids in catholic church school and not govt. public school to avoid teaching them about lgbt there.
A friend who enrolled his kids in a govt day-care for his 3 years old kid regularly complain about his daughter constantly asking him ''Daddy, am i a boy or girl'' and he always answer her frankly that ''you are a girl Nancy''
