Please, I have an interesting dilemma, I submitted my application with a passport that has validity till August, however, I applied and captured for a new passport last month.

IRCC just sent me a letter that I should send them a passport with six months validity within 30 days. If things go the way Nigerian immigration said it would my passport would be available just before the 30 days period elapses since Nigerian immigration said 6 weeks. But it would not be wise for me to risk it.

Is there a way to fast track my passport so I can collect it as soon as possible?

PS: I did my passport capturing at Ikoyi Lagos.

I suggest you create one ASAP to get back into the pool, I got a response from IRCC to do so immediately, if you have a PNP nomination in the currently ineligible profile contact the province to explore transferring it ASAP. Even alberta which normally doesn't transfer is considering to do so for people impacted by this. I got this from my assessing officer today.

He shouldn't loose hope just yet. I amnin the same boat. He should fill a webform on the iRCC portal and try to connect with his Alberta PNP assessing officer.

Though the rule says one thing, however IRCC acknowledges that there wasn't sufficient notice for the new POF update. My assessing officer told me not to create a new profile yet. That they are deliberating internally and with IRCC on the best way to resolve this for affected applicants. Let's stay hopeful for a favourable outcome.

Just to add....looks like he needs to withdraw the nomination via the AAIP portal, then create a new express entry profile, this will give him the chance to be selected again (soon hopefully). Some provinces would've transferred the nomination to a new EE profile....but looks like some don't. Sorry, many were caught up in the POF update wahala.

It is unethical for Shell to waste their time and resources on recruiting interneal candidates at the end. I had an extensive discussion with an insider who said they were commencing with the offers for PH applicants though.

Most people resumed today 1st July,as earlier mentioned only roles that were rejected may still be filled. I knw people in finance and production who have been on onboarding in the last weeks. If you havent gotten a rejection stay hopeful. I got mine today.

When we came hear to give updates, we were termed false prophets. Where are the insideinformants again.
Some people who did video have gotten, life goes on guys. Good luck to us all.

Don't expect any recruitment again in at least 1 to 2 years. Believe it or continue to argue.

To the bolded, I can say it again, the pool will be considered if for any reason any of those that accepted decline or does not resume. So it is possible.

Stop saying things you don't know and things you can't prove. It is written boldly in the regret emails sent to unsuccessful IT applicants that the roles have been filled and they might be considered for other recruitment exercises.
But that is usually the end of the road for such applicants.
What you don't realise is that your Shell conducts recruitment excercises in BATCHES.

Many successful candidates are usually kept in a skill pool subject to available vacancies until the end of the calendar year and these candidates usually don't get regret mails.

Even in the last excersise, people resumed months after the "Official Batch".

Read your response and read mine , how different is it. Oga Insideinformant, what new information did you just provide. Why are you even upset when we are saying the same thing....lmao

Let me help you summarize both responses.

If you haven't gotten a regret you are luckily in the pool✅

for IT roles, only 18 candidates were needed in this round.. all have been resourced with offers made and accepted as at today.

resumptions will be july though some have resumed in june.

other functions similarly have completed resourcing rounds and currently doing onboarding.

like i said i agree no dey tear shirt. if you dont have a regret it means u are in the bucket for future considerations.

My application is still under review.

I agree, its still valid to have hope. one of the folks already placed may decide not to resume and we can potentially be lucky to backfill.

But have it on very good authority that all role have been resourced and offers made.

Offers have been to all successful candidates as at today, like someone said this can only change if someone declines then they pick from the pool they have on standby. However there is a 3rd wave coming though noone is sure of the timelines

Just stay hopeful, there is another wave coming. This current round however has been fully resourced.

@OP, I suggest you do the follow;

1. Google search the name of the FCMB CEO
2. use rocketreach to search for his official email.
3. Send a new complaint email on the mail trail you have with bank currently
4. Copy the following in the above email, CBN complaints, FCMB CEO and Consumer Protection Agency.
5. Finally, move your DOM account to Standard Chartered after this is resolved.
