- For weeks in 2014, the Governor of Kano State kept shouting that security aides posted to watch over the state house were recalled as a result of orders from above, not once did you accuse Jonathan of tyranny.

- For appointing Sanusi Lamido as Emir of Kano which was within the rights and powers of the Kano State Government, Jonathan ordered security agents to lay siege at the Emir's palace. For days, the Emir operated from the Kano State Government House. You didn't call Jonathan by the dictatorship that he was acting out then.

- Jonathan withdrew the security details attached to then Governor Amaechi, Jonathan grounded the plane of Amaechi, Jonathan masterminded and hugely supported the division and crisis in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Jonathan allowed his wife to govern Rivers from Abuja, Jonathan used Mbu to embarrass and harass a sitting Governor, Jonathan crippled Rivers because Amaechi was the Governor yet, you still see Jonathan as a demigod.

- In this same country, we saw how Jonathan supported the destruction of the once vibrant Governors' Forum by supporting 16 against 19 yet, you see him as one decent man who should be seen as a Hero.

- We have not forgotten how Jonathan used state power to prevent sitting Governors from reaching a part of the country to support the reelection of one of their own because they were in the opposition and you who is laying claim to fairness and pretending to love Democracy still claim you miss this same character.

- In this same country, we saw the circulation of an undisputed video by an army officer detailing how soldiers were used to rig the election in Ekiti State to favour the thug governing the state today and yet, you see same Jonathan who was Commander in Chief of all these barbarism as decent enough to be called a hero.

- In his desperation to see the Governor Nyako impeached, The Presidency under Jonathan had the accounts of Adamawa State frozen. A State Government account oh and not personal account of the Governor and not once did you condemn the action nor call Jonathan the dictator he clearly was then.

- Same Jonathan you can almost worship today single handedly denied his then state Governor the right to seek the nomination of his party because he had personal grievances against him yet, you never for once accused him of abuse of power.

- For the first time in our history as a country, the CBN Governor was unilaterally sacked by the President without following the due process of our law because he asked questions regarding careless stealing of the nation's money supervised and supported by Jonathan yet, you never called Jonathan the dictator he clearly was.

- As far as I can remember, the only people EFCC managed to temporarily wake up from their five years slumber under Jonathan to work on were those who criticized him and as soon as they changed gear, EFCC return back to their slumber yet, not once did you accuse him of bias nor selectivity.

As far as I know, Fayose is yet to deny that he received the alleged money traced to his account from Dasuki. What he is crying over is immunity and you who has never seen one million naira cash of your own is busy supporting him and shouting persecution. As you always say then, use the courts.

That you now call Buhari a Dictator while you still worship Jonathan must surely be giving the devil hope that he may not actually........Stop making a fool of yourself.

As if this is not enough i over heard the deputy Senate president saying the Presidential ticket of PDP comes 2019 should zone to the north again, my question is where are the south east politicans, how can you zone Presidential ticket to north when PDP is almost tag Igbo party? Those it mean no Presidential material from the south east After all these miscalculation will the southeast shout we are been marginalized again?? Who is marginalizing who? I will be disappointed in south east politician if both chairman and Presidential ticket of PDP will be zone north.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign organisation has raised the alarm over plans by the opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC), to air a scandalous documentary on President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife, Patience; the Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, and other government officials, with the aim of bringing them to disrepute.

Also, the party’s campaign organisation alleged that the APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, during his recent visit to London, reached a deal to repeal the anti-gay law signed by the president on January 13, 2014, with the aim of getting the support of the European countries.

Addressing journalists on Wednesday, the Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP presidential campaigns, Femi Fani Kayode said: “We are here to intimate the Nigerian people about a despicable and wicked agenda that is being orchestrated by the opposition party to scandalise, undermine and bring into disrepute our presidential candidate, President Jonathan; his wife, Patience; Alison-Maduekwe, among other key government functionaries and members of Jonathan administration.

“The special operations and intelligence wing of my directorate has been reliably informed that the opposition is planning to air a documentary about the private lives of the above mentioned personalities.

“The documentary is riddled with falsehood and it is vulgar, smutty, cheap, shameful and salacious. This initiative is being spearheaded by the entire leadership of the APC and is being funded and organised by two serving governors and one former governor who controls his state through his hand-picked stooge.

“Our response to this initiative is one of utter repugnance. The opposition has degenerated to such a point that in response to legitimate questions that were raised about the record in public office of their presidential candidate, Buhari and their de facto leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in two major and widely viewed documentaries, the only recourse they have, rather than answering the questions put in those documentaries, is to try to humiliate, shame and disgrace our presidential candidate by making the most baseless and scandalous accusations about his private life.

“The truth is that this shameful course of action will not work and we shall not be distracted. Neither will we lose any sleep over it.”

He said the PDP was sending a clear signal to the three APC leaders that are funding and spearheading this initiative that it will not in any way serve the interest of their party or the interest of their presidential candidate if they insist on treading that path or toeing that deplorable line.

“In the event of them insisting on treading this dangerous and dishonorable course, we reserve the right to respond fully and use all legitimate means to expose the inherent evil that these three individuals habitually and continuously manifest in both their private lives and whilst in public office,” he added.

Fani-Kayode also alleged that Buhari, during his visit to the United Kingdom, reached an understanding with representatives of some western nations to repeal the anti-gay and same sex legislation passed into law in 2014.
According to him, “He (Buhari) had talks with the representatives of at least four western countries. The leaders of those countries made an offer to him and we are reliably informed that he has put the offer under consideration.

“The proposition and offer was that if he was prepared to support legislation in Nigeria to allow same sex marriage and if he was prepared to repeal the anti-gay laws in Nigeria they will, in return, endorse, support and fund him, initially covertly and eventually publicly, at the right time.
“Instead of outright rejection of these offers and spurning this proposition, to our utter shock and consternation, Buhari apparently refused to rule it out and has put the matter under consideration. Instead of him to say no, he assured them that he would consider these two things.”

The spokesman of PDP campaign organisation added: “We believe that this is a matter that ought to be brought to the attention of the Nigerian people as a matter of urgency. The APC are so desperate to ensuring that Buhari becomes the president of this country that they are actually prepared to consider the scrapping of all anti-gay or anti-homosexual legislations and at the same time, endorsing and supporting fresh legislation that would allow same sex marriage in our country.

“They are considering this despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of the Nigerian people find same-sex marriage and, indeed, homosexuality repugnant and unacceptable.”

Fani Kayode at the briefing, repeated that Buhari has planned violence as he allegedly did when he lost the 2011 presidential election, promising that any acts of violence traced to Buhari would adequately be dealt with according to the laws of the federation.

He also exonerated the first lady of any acts of violence, let alone having it reported to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.

Barely few weeks to the 2015 governorship election, elders of Rivers State have given the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) a week ultimatum to substitute its governorship candidate in the state, Chief Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike with a candidate from the riverine axis of the state.

The elders, under the auspices of Rivers Elders and Leaders Council (RELC) also appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan to prevail on the national leadership of the PDP to ensure the withdrawal of Wike in the interest of equity, justice and fairness to various ethnic nationalities that make up the state.

Chairman of RELC, Chief Albert Horsfall, who disclosed this yesterday while speaking to newsmen at Omagwa, near Port Harcourt, shortly after the meeting of the elders, said if by January 5, 2015, the PDP fails to substitute Wike, the people of the state would be mobilised to vote for the riverine candidate of any other political party that can win the 2015 governorship election in the state.

Horsfall said, “What we are saying here is that if the Peoples Democratic Party fails to substitute Nyesom Wike by January 5, 2015, all true Rivers people will vote en masse for the riverine candidate of any other party that can win election in Rivers State.

“Mr President is our son; we are appealing to him to prevail on the PDP to substitute Wike, but if they fail, we will encourage other aspirants to close ranks and produce a riverine candidate who has the potential to win the governorship of this state.”

He said, as elders, they were not opposed to the reconciliation initiated by the PDP governorship candidate, adding that true reconciliation within the party would commence once Wike withdraws as the party’s standard bearer.
