" I'm saddened over comments made by Mr. Rotimi Amaechi at the Town Hall meeting in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state. But I just recollected that a PASS degree is different from a First class degree. Amaechi was just under-going a post-graduate diploma course on conflict resolution and infrastructural development under Dr. Kachikwu. And there's nothing wrong being taught by a superior.
By the way, I heard Amaechi's house in Abuja is worth N4 billion Naira seated on a land valued at N1.2 billion Naira. So I'm surprised to hear Amaechi say, that N13 billion Naira can buy half of Lagos state.
I think Amaechi should be reminded, that a town hall meeting, is not the same thing as a meeting of illiterates "

No Bro. I actually applied for Winter 2015 semester on 1st Sept., but I didn't get any reply from the embassy other than that the Aliens office were still reviewing my application. I then need to contact my school to defer by one semester. And here I am, the visa has come without the embassy even asking me to present any insurance.

Praise God!
After waiting for almost 5 months, I got my visa today.

I have already mailed my new admission letter for the summer session to the embassy about three weeks ago. I think I should just go with it and represent it to them.

Hello my beloved people in the house. I had my visa interview on 1st September for the winter session. After several weeks of delays and exchange of several correspondence with the Embassy and the Aliens office, I have no option but to request for a deferment of my admission to 2016 summer session. I have forwarded the new admission letter to the embassy. However, i got the mail below from the embassy this morning.

Now, my confusions are;

1. After forwarding a new admission letter to the embassy, I was still asked to come with a letter from my school confirming that enrollment and commencement of study is still possible at this time.

2. I was not requested to come with any insurance document.

Please what do I do in this instance. your candid advise is highly welcome to help a brother in deep confusion.

Hello House. I have been an ardent follower of this thread for the past few days and I am highly impressed at the way people offer to help others here.
Please I need serious help! I did my interview at the German Embassy on 1st of September, but up till now, I have not received the am mail from the embassy. i sent a mail to the embassy three weeks ago to request for an update on my application. I was told they were already talking to the Aliens' office in Gottingen. I also contacted the office at Gottingen about two week, I was told they have not received any document regarding my application from the Nigeria consulate. Now, the major issue is the my enrollment deadline already expired Friday 23rd October and the school is not accepting any option of further extension as I had already seek for extension from September 30th to October 23rd. The only option my course coordinator offered me is for him to send me another admission letter for next summer semester.
Please what can I do in this situation?
In case I need to defer my admission till next semester, do I need to do another visa application at the embassy since I am yet to get their decision on my first application.
Someone should please help me on the steps to take in approaching the embassy in case I need to go for the deferment.
