Defend her by all means else if she change colour for you e go be red |

Ebubu7:If not that whistleblowers don't survive in Nigeria this would have been where he reported them so as to prevent them from selling and help security agencies fish out suppliers |
SmartPolician:If you read the same news we all read your on nairaland and still say this Then you didn't really understand that article. What they said in summary was oshiomole did not want, but the governor saw him fit and still went ahead to bring him onboard. So there's no lie. If there was a lie it would be at the governor said he was told not to bring him onboard but he chose to. |

I came across an interesting comment on X recently: Reincarnation is not true. If you study biology well, you will understand. If two people from a family look alike, it’s probably genes. Genes are responsible for shaping how you lookher argument suggested reincarnation is not possible because biology has no room for it. While it is an intriguing perspective, it made me think: does this reasoning hold up when we apply it to other beliefs, like the existence of God or divine creation? If someone believes in God and that He created humans and the world, they’re essentially accepting something that defies biological, chemical, and scientific laws. Let’s examine this in detail. Biology, as a field, doesn’t claim to explain everything. It’s a study of life as we observe it today and how organisms function, grow, and evolve. But biology doesn’t explain where life began. What triggered the “spark” that started it all? If creation is entirely biological, how did lifeless dust and rib bones transform into fully functioning humans, as described in our many religious texts? There’s no known chemical or biological formula to explain such an event. If we base our understanding purely on science, the creation of Adam and Eve would be deemed impossible. And yet, billions of people believe it happened. Why? Faith. Faith bridges the gap where science has no answers. Reincarnation works on a similar principle to creation and it’s a belief in something beyond what we can observe or measure. Consciousness, the soul, and the afterlife are all concepts that science struggles to define, let alone explain. If we use biology to dismiss reincarnation, shouldn’t we also question the biological plausibility of divine creation? After all, both defy the physical laws we know today. The truth is, biology alone doesn’t give us a complete picture of existence. It’s a tool to understand the “how,” but it doesn’t answer the “why.” It doesn’t explain why consciousness exists, why humans have faith, or why we seek meaning beyond the material world. Faith isn’t exclusive to religion or spirituality. Even the most hardened scientist operates with faith, the faith that their tools are accurate, that their theories hold up, and that the universe has rules we can understand. Believing in God, creation, or reincarnation isn’t about proof; it’s about trusting in something greater than ourselves. If God can defy science and biology to create the world, why couldn’t reincarnation—or some other form of existence beyond death be possible? I'm not trying to prove or disprove reincarnation as I already believe it happens. It’s about challenging the idea that biology has all the answers. Science is a powerful tool, but it doesn’t encompass the entirety of human existence. If you believe in God and divine creation, it’s worth asking: could there be more to life than we understand? Could reincarnation, like creation, be one of those mysteries that lies beyond the limits of biology? At the end of the day, belief is personal. But dismissing something purely because science doesn’t explain it might close the door to understanding something profound. Sometimes, what we can’t measure or observe is exactly where the most meaningful truths lie. What y'all think? Do you believe in reincarnation? |
Desusi:I woke up one morning during buharis tenure and since then nothing about lai Mohamed. As if he was just washed, rinse and left outside to dry for eternity. Every morning on NL lai mohammed was always on FP |
Flangelo12:Oh, I see. You're confusing my response with interest. That's cute |
Flangelo12:This level of stupidity doesn’t even deserve a response, but for your parents’ sake, I’ll let you know you’re embarrassing them so when you’re done embarrassing yourself with baseless accusations, feel free to come back and discuss like an adult. Untill then adios |
BIinks:It'll atleast save us the money spent on elections every 4 years. Prevent president, governors etc from influencing elections of other parties of people. Reduce the stress we'll face to vote cos we'll only vote once in 6 years. It'll even reduce the ammount of new vehicles gotten for every new administration. |
