EducationFive Ways To Boost Your Academic Performance And Be Successful In Life by Emmyloaded2(op):
All student wants to be outstanding academically. In fact, everyone is jumping into the wagon of academic race, wants to be among the A list students. Saying, that they want to be the best in their class, make their parents proud and be popular as well.

Boosting your academic performance is not a mouth thing, neither is it a thing to be achieved just by faith. Success requires some process.

Ever wondered how and why these scholars obtain their grade, what is it that makes their academic performance outstanding and also, what what makes them stand apart from other students? Well the answer is that it is their habit that make them stand apart and be successful. By personal experience and observing other top students, I have found out five ways you can boost your academic performance.

How To Boost Your Academic Performance

1. BE PASSIONATE

Let me start by saying this, boosting your academic performance is not only about hard-work or smart-work; it is a combination of both and a uniqueness within you. Continually ignite your passion for excellence. Don’t study the course because you are forced to do so. Just love what you are studying, and good academic performance will be secondary. When you love someone, you do everything to please him/her. As a matter of fact, some persons even die for love. In like manner, your passion for academic excellence certainly pays in the long run. In this case, it will boost your academic performance.

2. BOOST YOUR CONFIDENCE

Before you boost your academic performance, boost your confidence first. Wanting is caught up in the stream of determinism. If you don’t believe that you can improve, then their is certainly a problem. Always tell yourself that you are the best. In fact, what makes you think that you can’t be among the A list students in your class?. Good thinking is one of the tool that boosts your confidence.

3. PRIORITIZE

Don’t major on the minor, neither should you take minor things majorly. Set your priorities right. Spend more time on the things that creates the desired result. The result here speaks of your academic performance. You have spent too much time on irrelevant things. You don’t need to watch ‘dirty secrets’ now; all you need is secrets of A list students.

4. CHECK AND HANDLE YOUR AREA OF WEAKNESS

This is the area where many students fail. They complain and blame others for their weakness rather than working on themselves. You expressly loose your originality when you continually blame others for your downfall. Although it takes hard work and discipline to discover and handle your weakness, yet it is worth it. If you do not handle your phobia for calculations, you will continually have challenge in it. In conclusion, know what works for you and what doesn’t. Understand and face your challenge.

5. BE DISCIPLINE

There is no glory without story, and no product without some processes. It takes discipline to boost your academic performance. You cannot study for eight hours a day; if discipline is taken away. You should create quality time for your study. Never be tempted to give up on the wise and hardwork. Kill anything that tries to kill zeal. Don’t be seen everywhere; have what you stand for. Remember, if you don’t stand for anything, you will fall for everything.

HealthECOWAS Raises $150m Against Diseases by Emmyloaded2(op):
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has risen over $150 million to tackle communicable and non-communicable diseases in the sub-region.

Director General of the West African Health Organisation (WAHO) Dr Xavier Crespin made the disclosure yesterday in Abuja during the forum for health partners at the sidelines of the WAHO-ECOWAS health ministers’ summit.

“We have managed to get more than $150 million over the last two years to support our programmes, which are mainly how we can better control disease in our countries. Non-communicable disease first, and then communicable disease,” he said.

He said the Ebola crisis in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, revealed that countries in the sub region were not very strong in fighting some of the diseases, adding that it was important to have partners, who could help these countries to strengthen the health system, as well as workforce from one country which would support another country in need

The board said the rescheduled examination would hold on 1st of July 2017 across the candidates’ centres.

JAMB Registrar Is-haq Oloyede spoke yesterday after a meeting of the board’s management with chief external examiners and other major stakeholders on the conduct of 2017 UTME, at its headquarters, Bwari, Abuja.

Oloyede said the meeting candidates approved the cancellation of the results of 1,386 candidates for examination
He added that these candidates would not be allowed to rewrite the examination.

The second batch NPower registration has some slight adjustments from the first and these include.

1. BVN will be auto searched by site before proceeding to the next phase. If BVN exists then one is cleared to proceed. this development is not unconnected with series of problems faced with unmatched, incorrect BVN in the first batch registration.

2. The second phase registration is more of an interactive interphase. Applicants dont just upload data and go, the test which erstwhile was written seperately at a slated date will be written immediately by applicants to complete their registration.

NOTE: Based on the few points above, i'd like to reiterate that prospective applicants should be fully involved and be physically present in the process of registration...to proofread their info and write their test.

The issuance of forms in this phase will not be possible for obvious reasons, so i urge all to take this phase serious and get

There are several website that claims to enable you check if a website is banned from google adsense but only few of them gives accurate result. Most of them out there don't really give accurate result and thus makes you think a website that is banned is not.

PoliticsUnity: Remember; A Good Nigeria Is Better Than A Good Arewa, Oduduwa Or Biafra by Emmyloaded2(op):
The Ibos want Biafra
The North wants Ibo's exit
The Yorubas want Ibo's exit
The Ibos are saying "we have investments in your areas and cannot leave them"
And the fight is being cooked.

Amongst all these, the President is in London
Governors are sharing bailout funds
Workers salaries are not paid
Government officials have their children schooling abroad
Ministers and senators are looting

The poor Hausa man is riding Okada
The poor Ibo man is riding Okada
The poor Yoruba man is riding Okada

The poor Hausa man sleeps under the bridge as Alamajiri
The poor Yoruba man sleeps under the bridge as Alaye
The poor Ibo man sleeps under the bridge as agbero

It is pertinent to note that the poor from all ethnic groups in Nigeria have everything in common and so is the rich.

Do not allow the agitation of an Ibo man who lives in UK or USA for Biafra cause the killing of the Ibo man in Adamawa. The rich hate us that much.
Do not allow the Alhaji whose children are living abroad to persuade you to go and start killing on the street of Kaduna.

The problem in the country is not the agitation of any ethnic group but the unity of the elite and the disunity of the masses.

How many times have you taken your agitation to question your local government Chairmen?

Why have you not asked your Governors through agitation how they spent bailout fund?

Why have you not agitated against that government official whose mansions you go to beg for help?

Sad to note;
All the Governors love themselves
All the past Presidents love themselves
All the senators love themselves
All the top government officials love themselves
All the looters love themselves

Why can't you and I love ourselves?
Why can we combine efforts and fight them?
Why do we fight ourselves?
Why do we allow them the freedom we don't have?

Remember; a good Nigeria is better than a good Arewa, Oduduwa or Biafra.
