If I don't know Rivers State I would have passed. But let me tell you something about rivers State.

2005 February 17th I bought 50 speed boat with double engine, for Bonny Island, wholesale price, I never made profit from that business,

The old boat owners saw me as a threat, they sabotaged my boat, my boat was sinking on every trip, similar thing happening to Peace motors, thousands of people still died after I held prayer and fasting.

Just Forget these people, they are their own problems, they don't want to go to school, they don't have hand work. only bunkering and cultism. and sex

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How To Identify A Scam Interview Invitation by emmym16(m): 7:01pm On Jul 05, 2018
LaurelP:
I have seen so many Nairalanders complaining and lamenting their ordeal in the hands of fake scam companies who invite people for interview only to introduce them to fake drug marketing business.
I'm doing this not only because these companies waste people's time, energy and T-fair going to such interviews, but also because most of these scammers extort money from hapless job seekers thereby making their suffering times two.
Imagine a scammer extorting #10,500 from a graduate who have been unemployed for years, not to talk of the transport fare wasted going to such fruitless interviews or job chat as they usually call it.
Some people even borrow money to pay these sheep in wolves clothing, who promise them heaven on earth. Some will tell you that you will make half a million within 1 month and all that. If you're not careful, you will take a loan that you will not be able to repay thus causing embarrassment and lack of rest of mind. An unemployed person should have only himself to worry about, not having debts also.

So I believe that if we are properly guided, we will not fall into the hands of these scammers.
Having said that, there are ways by which one can identify a fake or scam interview invitation and there fore avoid such waste of time and money. The good thing is that most of their messages come in the same format, so you will know its fake!

1. The message does not bear a company name: most of these scammers won't include their names on the message you will receive. All you will see are the address, the time and date and a phone number. A genuine company will not hide its identity from a potential employee.

2. The message will say "interview/job briefing": whatever job briefing means I don't know!
3. You will see a code or reference: something like "HR=0056" or "REF=002". This is an indication of the code number of the person who invited you to the "job briefing".
4. It will contain a phone number: this is the number of your referer. Most genuine companies don't give phone numbers.
5. You will see HR Admin in the message instead of company name
6. If you call their number, they will be reluctant to give info on the company.

And pls, ignore those people sharing job flyers on the streets, and those ones they paste on walls. Those are scammers and some ritualists too. And also most of these so called agencies are avenues for duping unsuspecting job seekers. Pls shine your eyes well well.
I will post the names of some of these fake companies/ agencies later.

Pls if you have any experiences inthe hands of these scammers kindly share it here so that others can learn and avoid them too. Thank you

Cheers!

Politics / CCB, CCT, ACJ Acts Amendments: Message For Senate, Buhari by emmym16(m): 4:09pm On Apr 15, 2016
It is ridiculous and unfortunate that despite the current difficulties that Nigerians are facing, our distinguished Senators decided to turn the National Assembly to a National House of Comedy. Nigerians expected that the priority of the present Senate would be drafting and sponsoring of bills that will make positive impact on the economy especially on the prevailing forex crises but behold, our ‘distinguished’ elected representatives decided to embark on a laughable and stupid wild goose chase by sponsoring and allowing a bill that seeks to weaken and frustrate the activities of The Code of Conduct Bureau and The Code of Conduct Tribunal, an institution established to discourage corruption and prosecute individuals suspected to have made false asset declaration. The Senate claims that the bill is meant to give opportunity to the accused to defend his or herself at the Bureau before prosecution. This is ridiculous! It is ridiculous because during every prosecution, suspects are given adequate opportunity to defend themselves with the assistance of lawyers. So, the Senate should bear in mind that the bill is not only a failure on arrival but an abuse of court process and an insult to our justice system. If suspects should be allowed to defend themselves before prosecution, then there is no need approaching the court. Since our constitution grants a suspect the right to be deemed innocent until proved guilty by the court, why is the Senate pushing such bill? Such bill is nothing but a mockery of our constitution and by sponsoring and allowing it to pass through second reading, the Senate just exhibited some atoms of fear of possible prosecution and conviction by the courts. This is because any innocent suspect won’t be trying to avoid or frustrate his or her prosecution, rather, such suspect will be always willing and anxious to open his or her defense in court. Moreover, why sponsoring and hurrying the passage of such controversial bill at a time when the Senate president is facing prosecution at the same code of conduct tribunal? That alone puts the integrity of the Bill to question. In a sane clime, the Senate President should resign in order to have more time for his defence in court but over here in Nigeria, instead of resigning, our own distinguished Senate President decided to give his support for the amendment of the Acts that serves as backbone to his trial. Having lost in several attempts to escape trial, Senate President Bukola Saraki now sit down to support the weakening of his trial through some Acts amendments. Furthermore, by embarking on the amendments of the Code of Conduct Bureau, The Code of Conduct Tribunal and The Administration of Criminal Justice Acts at same time especially at a time when the Senate president is facing trial, and by allowing the Code of Conduct Bureau and The Code of Conduct Tribunal Act amendment bill to pass through second reading within forty-eight hours of its introduction, the Senate is simply telling Nigerians that it is afraid that the Senate President will speedily (be convicted) receive justice because with the current provisions of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, there is no more room for lawyers or judges to prolong or frustrate trials. The Senate should know that its members will certainly need to hold president Buhari on his trouser before he will sign such fraudulent and ridiculous bill into law. Even though the legislature can veto the president if he refuses signing a bill, the Senate should note that in cases like this, the legislature will always have its say while the executive will always have its way. The National Assembly should also note that Nigerians are not fools and they can’t sit and watch its members frustrate the ongoing anti-corruption war by any means. President Buhari should as a matter of urgency, maximally utilise the various powers vested on him as the commander- in-chief to safeguard the letter and spirit of our constitution as he sworn to do before hijackers turn our nation into a lawless comedy zone. God bless Nigeria.
