Snapchat recently unveiled it's first hardware product known as, "spectacles". It's a $130 goggle which is capable of shooting wide-angle videos.


The camcorder, otherwise known as "spectacles" are designed to enable snapchatters record what they are actually seeing. It feels awkward to take your smartphone, and start launching snapchat app hurriedly all for the sake of taking a photo.

It’s one thing to see images of an experience you had, but it’s another thing to have an experience of the experience,

The CEO of Snapchat, evan spiegel said in the Wall Street journal magazine.

These new goggles, otherwise known as "spectacles" came as a result of a project by evan spiegel known as, "snap Inc" - a camera company.

Although, spectacles looks like a weak and cheap plastic sunglass. It lacks the qualities of a goggle understanding the fact that it was made by a popular company. But in this case, snap inc was ditching quality for superiority.

One of the cool features of the spectacles is that, It is able to glow when recording starts.
