Peter never said he doesn't have a house in the UK. He said he doesn't have a house in America and he doesn't live there. That he lives in Onitsha. Also don't forget, he was living i the UK when he was asked to come back and lead the people of Anambra.

Also, he never said he doesn't own a house in the UK. Obi was already a billionaire before coming back to be a governor and he has been cleared of every wrongdoing by the EFCC.

Show a video where he said he doesn't have a house in the UK and i will rest my case.

Draw an expenses table on how you've been spending your 200k and try to remove the irrelevant expenditures.

I usually say this, and I'll keep saying it...most Young guys are broke not because they're poorly paid but because they spend their money recklessly...I'll recommend you do the following.

1. Avoid women...that 2k, 5k, 3k, 10k...you spend on them each time you meet or send to them upon request, if you sit down down to calculate the total at the end of the month, you'll be amazed at what you spend on women. If you must date look for a working class girl who wouldn't become a parasite to your income.

2. Avoid addictions...bettings, drinking, clubbing, prostitutes... etc. Theses addictions can ruin the finances of a promising young man. If you're a victim of any of the above, work hard to discipline yourself by seeking godly counsel from a spiritual leader you respect.

3. Avoid fast-food... believe me, those breakfast you order online in your place of work to feel like a big boy before your fellow colleagues can render you potentially broke. The cheapest online dish is 2k. Meaning if you place an order in 5 working days, you've spent about 10k. With a good girl friend that 10k can get you 3 different soups and a tomato stew which you can refrigerate and consume for over 2 weeks (weekends inclusive). Also, try to stock your home with provision...this helps as well.

4. Avoid things you don't need...most guys are guilty of these, you have two Android phones, you still go ahead to purchase an iPhone, you don't need it. Or because you want to impress a girl you buy a car on credit and spend your whole life paying for it...if getting it would make you financially uncomfortable, then you probably do not need it.

5. Cultivate a saving habit... during my youth service days several years back, I learnt this habit and believe me, it's been so helpful to me. Draw your budget for that salary and remove the amount that would go into your savings, and make sure that funds you send to that separate account remains there no matter what.

Do this and you won't find yourself patronizing these loansharks anymore.

Abuja is a place you live according to your means. It's not as expensive as people think. I feel Lagos is even more expensive ams stressful than Abuja. Transport here is very low, due to good roads and less traffic.

Travel history helps... but the most important thing will be the authenticity of the documents you present and how satisfied they are with it.... Travel history probably helps those seeking visiting visa more than it helps someone looking to study. My advise is you are better off using that money to do a professional course on top of your B.sc or even M.sc and ohh your bank account has to be sparkling.

As regards what the agent talked about Travel history, its not true, though it does matter if u av a Travel History, But if u don't have, its no problem, u will only clarify that in ur Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Nobody can assure u of securing a visa, (infactt, Canada said its a crime to assure an Applicant he/she gonna get a visa).....U will need to put all the necessary documents in place , ask questions here in the forum and u will be responded to...

.... a One Year Post Graduate Certificate or a Two Year Post Graduate Diploma (PGC/PGD) in a Program u wanna do should av bin what u should av gone for, cos a Visa Officer will expect u to get an Higher Degree than going for a DIPLOMA after ur HND

But if u av a cogent reason on why u are going for Just a DIPLOMA, u gotta do justice to that in ur SOP by explaining and convincing the VISA OFFICER why u are going for a DIPLOMA instead of a PGC/PGD

I have engaged a travel agent to help me with the study visa application but he asked if I have traveled before and I said no.

To my greatest surprised, he said I can't get the Visa if I don't have travel history.

My question now is, what's the best way for me to approach this?.. I don't want to pay the $500CD and my visa get denied.

Please fellow Nairalanders advice me on the best way to go about it. I'm ready to pay the $500CD but want to be sure I will get the Visa.

NB: For the records, I have HND and I'm 32 years
