Almost all SE states have oil and gas, hence stop deceiving yourself. Igbos have proved several times as being the only tribe that can achieve any height without support from oil, and only creature in human history that ALL survived ( got to where they are now ) with only 20 pouds ( call it 20 Naira ). Doesn't that tell you something?

Advanced countries are already thinking beyond oil and gas.

When I visit different countries ( oil and gas producers ) and see how they manage their oil sector + economy, you will be more convinced that Nigeria is not serious, and doesn't exist outside oil & gas. Here in UK, the Scottish is pushing for a referendum despite how well their management has been compared to the Nigerian experiment that never worked.

The man looks so gentle and naive but must be doing something very courageous behind the scenes.
Is it that he has stopped giving Obasanjo the agreed percentage of our revenue?
Check out the way he handled the compensation of former PHCN workers, every single one of them has been paid his gratuity without any noise being made about it, imagine the transition happening during Obasanjo's tenure, 99% of them would still be owed today. GEJ has succeeded in alienating these thieves, now all they do is to pretend to be on the side of the masses in order to get their support, kick Jonathan away from power and go back to ''business as usual'', but I am very happy with the responses I've been getting from people I see everyday and even here on Nairaland, people are definitely aware of the game they are playing.

Buhari's comment was his personal opinion after the disappointment that greeted the 2011 election and merger arrangement. He didn't sign any agreement with anybody that he would not contest against.

A personal opinion can be changed by a superior argument - this is what happened. Patriotic Nigerians are the ones asking Buhari to change his mind and since his involvement in politics is for the people, why will he say no to their wish?

pazienza: Nigeria as a country died in 1970. It is strategic that Igbos support GEJ, not because GEJ will do us any special favours(which we know the Yoruba/northern gang up can never do, they had four decades to prove otherwise), but because GEJ represents equality and justice, he will provide a level playing ground for all Nigerian groups, and when you have a level playing ground for all, Igbos will always dominate. This is the sole reason GEJ must remain in Aso rock till 2019, it will buy Ndiigbo enough time to trim the Yoruba- hausa/fulani influence more, and place us in a better position to face the Yoruba/northern gang up again with GEJ departure, but this time around, better prepared.


To keep GEJ in Aso rock till 2019, is a task that must be done.

The biggest and richest tech coys in the world like samsung apple,boeing BAE will crash if they fail to get access to congo's silicon and coltan deposits,yet congo is one of the most improverished nations in africa.
The entire military apparatus of america will collapse without congo's colbat,yet that same congo is one of the weakest nations in africa.
Imagine if congo had the leaders that would unite them and force all these tech coys leaching from them to establish manufacturing plants there.
Their industrial revolution would eclipse europe and china.
The AU has tremendous power,unfortunately they're not using it.
Our continent is the richest,and should be the most developed in the world.
The best brains in the world should be migrating to africa,the reverse is the case.
