The motive behind fraud money is increasing every day among the youth in Africa. As the youth these days seem not to understand why they should go the long way to succeed whiles he can consult a spiritualist and with one or two fraudulent ways he can become a millionaire over night.

Adama Mohammed, a young guy who completed the high school not long ago shares his story with us.

It all started when I completed senior high school and my uncle decided not to sponsor my tertiary education, I had lost my parents to car accident whiles in high school. My uncle who was a book-man at lorry station was also battling his own share of poverty, I moved to stay with a friend called Abraham who was an okada driver but was more focus on his internet fraud activity. Abraham lived in a single room where his boss who also was into internet fraud lived some time ago but had to move within a short time because he turned into a millionaire overnight with internet fraud. Abraham was using the okada motor business to raise money to buy data for the internet at night and my job was to assist him in bringing creative ideas to catch any client he was chatting at night. Abraham was a good and kind guy to me, he started teaching me how to ride the motor bicycle so he can give it to me to run the motor business whiles he resume to full time internet fraud because that one seem to him more profitable in the near future than to take risk in riding motor to convene passengers from one place to another.

Abraham’s boss who is believed to be the person who ushered Abraham into the fraud was driving in range rover and had a big mansion in west legon and fleet of cars parked on his compound. The sight of sulley, Abraham’s boss could motivate any young guy into fraud in the area because sulley was living a luxurious life style. Among his fleet of cars where Bentley, rolls-Royce, Mercedes maybach, Toyota Lexus v8, and range rover. He had numerous houses all over the city of Accra and Kumasi.

Abraham had finished eating one sunny afternoon and told me he is travelling with his boss ‘sulley’ to tamale the northern region of Ghana to see a man who will help him become successful in the internet fraud and that all he needed was to get the pictures of the big men in America, UK, china and Canada to take to the man so I should compile all the pictures of the men we have been chatting with at night and send it to his what-app phone so he can go to the camera studio and print them out , I heed to what Abraham told me and within few minutes the job was done , he waved me and departed to Mr. sulley’s house.

For about two months I was living alone in Abraham’s single room since he had departed to sulley house two months ago , I lived happily there alone attending to the motor business that Abraham taught me , I was enjoying life since i was making good income from the motor business and I could buy any food I want , I also didn’t spare the girls in the neighborhood since I was sleeping with them one after the other, day and night different girls shared the bed with me , a game I came to meet Abraham doing, and I sincerely joined because I had waited for such opportunity to come my way long ago. I regretted one night when two ladies crashed at my house and fought till they were tired and left, the embarrassment they brought to me , but it couldn’t change anything the next day a new girl came to enjoy my new bed-sheet.

It was a normal Tuesday morning and I was getting ready to go to work , when I heard a hard knock on the door, I opened the door and to my surprise it was Abraham , the guy has changed totally from head to toe looking more handsome with some curry hair , I screamed A.B is that you , I can’t believe this you have really change , I swear this girls are dead in this area on your arrival but to my surprise he told me to forget those smelling girls, 'eiiish' even esi the girl he loves so much he told me to stop talking about smelling esi , ‘lord have mercy I said’ he told me to come out and see his new car and to my outer most surprise it was a brand new range rover , we quickly sat in and sped off to his new house , I left the single room door opened with my money on the bed and motor , as we sped off I told Abraham about the situation if he can return back so I would close the door but with an arrogant voice he told me he will change my destiny in 5 minutes , so he stopped the car and brought a cheque book for me to ask of any amount but I declined and we moved to his house, it was a newly acquired mansion, we sat in the living room talking about life and my current situation compared to his , and he told me to keep quiet for first thing tomorrow morning we are going to see the man who helped him to become successful in the internet fraud, upon hearing that I was very glad and thanked him so much , the night before the following morning I gathered all the pictures of the client I have been browsing with since Abraham left me with the little he taught me about internet fraud .

Early the next morning we booked a flight to tamale to see the man and at about 2 pm in the afternoon we were at the man’s palace, he took the pictures I had brought with me and told me each of them will send me any money I asked from them and that all I need to do is to sleep with 5 women in a day , upon hearing the five women in a day I was a womanizer but five women every day was going to kill me faster than corona-virus . But Abraham told me to do it for he had a very simple way he will show me to go about it and I will never regret doing this, upon hearing what Abraham told me I quickly agreed to do it and we came back to Accra.

It’s been 4 months since we came back from tamale to Accra, I am for-kingly rich, I have in my mansion two roll Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini , Ferrari, Aston martin , Mercedes maybach, 2 range rover and Mercedes bra-bus . I have bought 3 mansions in airport ridge, and another mansion in osu .

I have followed money, chased money and got money but I can’t take it anymore, because I am dying slowly , my friend Abraham confirms to this statement as he told me he has also regretted taking this path , every day as we see the money , we feel in our heart that our life is short so we should look for means to spend the money , many people who have contacted this man and become successful through internet fraud have had a car accident and died , we see money every day but in our heart we know death is imminent . All that glitters is not gold, had I know is always at last,

The only advice I can give to the youth is to take their time and be not envious of someone’s riches for you don’t know how he made his money.

It’s already getting worse in Italy where according to online reports, 627 people were confirmed dead because of the deadly Coronavirus (COVID19) in just one day.



The report went ahead to say that families keep losing their loved ones daily.

Another online report has it that a doctor who is fighting the virus collapsed and was seen in a picture being encouraged by a fellow doctor.



Many citizens across the world are already praying for Italy which has recorded more deaths recently than China were the virus originated.

Iliya Jacob (Joseph) is one of the Nigerian soldiers battling the boko haram in the North-East. He got married to his heartthrob on 14th December, 2019 but was killed by boko haram in January 2020, just a month and few weeks after his wedding. Hmmmmm, what a painful exit. I wonder how his wife and the family feel, may God comfort them.



Late Iliya Jacob left behind his only wife, who is heart broken.While typing RIP for the slain soldier remember that the same Boko Haram that killed him is being taken good care of by Nigeria government, many terrorists have being sent abroad for better life while some are paid huge amount here in Nigeria monthly . If you are not ashamed of Nigeria, you are bereaved of humor. Personally I'm disappointed with Nigeria government. Innocent people have been killed by the terrorist (Boko Haram) and yet, nothing is done. Now look at this Gallant Nigerian Soldier who just died while serving his so-called country Nigeria.



What a country! Very shamefully to be associated with Nigeria. No wonder many are running away from Soldier because of this kind of result.

The court has ordered the suspension of Adams Oshiomole of Edo state from being the chairman of the APC. Indigenes of Edo State turned out to be rejoiceful as soon as the news got to them.

Oshiomole can now appeal and face trial for his lauder when he was a governor in Edo State as the current governor of Edo State, Obaseki has written petition against him.

Supreme Court Update: Tanko Stands Down Ihedioha's Application till 3pm, Uzodinma Argues No Merit

The hearing of the heavily anticipated case is ongoing in the Supreme Court of Nigeria as Ihedioha's lawyer has laid down the facts.

Ihedioha's lawyer Chief Kanu Agabi has laid down his argument that the judgement is marred with fraud as the addition of the votes of 388 poling units to Ihedioha rises the votes beyond the accredited number of voters by 129,000 people. He also tenders evidence from Inec and urges the court to review it's judgement to purge it of errors.

However, Mr Damian Dodo, lawyer to Uzodinma has argued that the application to set aside the judgement of the court is incompetent and lacking merit, intentionally using the same words used by the court to describe the Bayelsa application.

Mr Dodo also argues that the court does not have the right to sit to review it's own case unless some typographical error was found or clerical errors which he argued are not present in this scenario.

The Supreme Court has stood down Ihedioha's application till 3pm today when it is expected that the Apex court will give it's ruling.

How I Was Raped By My Pastor:True Story

The General Overseer of Agape Baptist Church, Pastor Oprite Amakiri, is currently cooling off at the Rumuolumeni Police Division in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State for raping a teenager.

Amakiri deceived the 18-year old girl with a false prophesy that he was suffering from waist pain and God had directed the girl to massage him.

The randy pastor discussed the purported prophesy with the girl’s sister whom herself was a choir member and the deal was sealed.

The 50-year-old randy pastor quickly swung to action to visit the girl for the massage, which later turn to raping spree.

“On the first day that he came, my sister was around. The pastor brought anointing oil for the massage. I massage his waist and he left but consequently he would come whenever he sensed that my sister had gone out.

He began to handle my breast. I tried to run away, he overpowered me and defiled me,” the victim who refused to mention her name said.

She explained that she could not tell her sister because the pastor warned her not to do so. “He said I will die if I tell anybody and that he’s being relieved of the pain. He has had carnal knowledge of me three times now.

But when he came for the fourth time, I realized that it is no more about prophesy now but a game and I refused to open the door.”

Furiously, the randy pastor confidently put a call to his victim’s sister to report, saying he could not gain access for massage again. Gullibly, the sister queried the victim on phone and the confession was made.

Unknown to Amakiri that the sister would come home with policemen, the pastor was waiting for the girl to open the door but what he later saw were security agents who arrested him for rape.

While lamenting in the cell, Amakiri confessed how he lied with false prophesy to have carnal knowledge of the girl. He said he wanted to satisfy his sexual urge because his wife was not always around to cuddle him.

“My wife is a health worker, she comes home once in a week” Amakiri who is a father of four lamented.

Speaking on the matter, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, said the randy pastor had confessed to raping the girl on several occasions, adding that Amakiri would be charged to court at the end of an ongoing investigation into the matter.

Mohammad told newsmen that the teenager would be taken to the hospital for a comprehensive medical check-up to ascertain that the pastor has not infected her with HIV or any other sexually transmitted diseases.

He cautioned members of the public to beware of people, who might want to deceive and take undue advantage of them.

NBA legend, Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant were laid to rest last Friday in Corona Del Mar, ahead of a Feb. 24 public memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

It was a private Los Angeles funeral. Kobe and Gianna died in a chopper crash two weeks ago on their way to a basketball tournament at Kobe’s Mamba Sport Academy. They died along with passengers Christina Mauser, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester and pilot Ara Zobayan tragically passed away in a helicopter crash.

Though the ceremony was held privately, a public memorial will be held on February 24 at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, giving fans an opportunity to pay their respects. “We are one city that believes in each other, believes in something bigger than ourselves,” Mayor Eric Garcetti has said. “We will absolutely do everything to make sure that this is done so that everybody can come to it as well.”

Theinfong reported earlier that Vanessa Bryant, the wife of late NBA Legend, Kobe Bryant opened up on how she’s been dealing with the tragic loss of her husband and 13-year-old daughter, Gianna. The duo died along with seven others in a tragic helicopter crash on Sunday, Jan. 26th.

In an emotional Instagram post, Vanessa disclosed that she’s having a hard time accepting that her husband and daughter are gone.

According to her, even when she tries to process Kobe being gone, her body refuses to accept that her daughter will never come back to her.

BREAKING: Supreme Court Sacks Bayelsa Governor-Elect, Lyon, Declares PDP's Duoye Winner

The Supreme Court, on Thursday, sacked the governor-elect of Bayelsa State, David Lyon and his Deputy, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremieoyo.

The apex court, in a unanimous decision by a five-man panel of Justices led by Justice Mary Odili, held that Degi-Eremieoyo presented a forged certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.



It held that the Form CF 001 Degi-Eremieoyo submitted to INEC for the purpose of the November 16, 2019, governorship election in the state, contained false information of fundamental nature.

Justice Ejembi Eko who delivered the lead judgement reinstated the November 12, 2019, Judgement of the Federal High Court in Abuja that disqualified Degi-Eremieoyo from participating in the governorship poll.

The apex court held that since Degi-Eremieoyo shared a joint ticket with the governor-elect, his disqualification invalidated their nomination by the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Consequently, it ordered INEC to immediately withdraw the Certificate of Return that was issued to them and issue a fresh one to the party that secured the second highest number of votes and got the required constitutional spread

The judgment followed an appeal that was filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, its governorship and deputy governorship candidates in Bayelsa State, Douye Diri and Lawrence Ewhruojakpo.

Shatta Bandle, the self-acclaimed millionaire and socialite has added a brand new Ferrari to his car collection.



Bandle, who claims to be richer than Nigerian moguls Dangote and Femi Otedola, announced the arrival of his new machine a while ago on Instagram.



A glance through his social media page on 11 February, 2020 reveals he loves cars and the new addition is a white-coloured Ferrari with red interior.

There are rumours that Bandle’s new luxury vehicle is a gift for his girlfriend.



Announcing the acquisition on Instagram in Bandle style, he declared 2020 the year of no joke.



“Congratulations to my self, I just added a new Ferrari to my collection.. Young Young Rich nigga. 2020 no joke ”

The victim was said to have been one of the hardened criminals living within the vicinity and have been terrorising the residents especially those who return late at night.

The tragic incident occurred about 5:00 am at Abitu Avenue-Ekpo Edem junction on Tuesday morning.

An eyewitness, Eyo Akpan, said the victim was in the habit of petty stealing and constantly harassing residents in the area and in the process had maimed some people.

Akpan said luck ran out on the young man when a vigilance group caught him running with a bag full of fowls suspected to have been stolen from a nearby poultry farm.

When confronted, Victor challenged them and brought out a machete and a big hammer to attack them. But the vigilante shouted for help and when other people arrived at the scene, the mobbed the suspect.

Akpan said: “The victim has been a notorious criminal and a leader of one of the gang that extorts money and collects illegal tickets. Besides, he had stolen items such car battery and radios, generators and livestock within the neighbourhood.

“Most times residents were afraid of confronting him. But we prayed that one day he would meet his Waterloo.

“Last year, he was caught by a group of boys coming back from fishing but the vigilante intervened and got him freed. Then he was warned to desist from his criminal activities.

“But he came as usual in the early hours of Tuesday to steal some fowls and on his way out of the street, the fowls started making noise which attracted some members of the vigilance team.

“Realising that some people were after him, he attempted to escape and even brought out a big hammer before he was rounded up by the youths who refused to let him go this time.

“For fearing that his gang could launch a counteroffensive to free him, they hurriedly beat him up and set him ablaze for stealing fowls,” Akpan stated.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Irene Ugbo, confirmed that she had been called by a resident informing him that somebody was lynched.

She said the DPO of Càlabar South had not briefed her officially and therefore cannot give details of the incident, regretting the recurrence of such a barbaric act.

Irene had, in a public enlightenment campaign, warned members of the public to desist from taking laws into their hands, advising them to always hand over suspects to the police for further investigation.

She said: “Though police do not support criminals and criminal activities in any way, it is high time we stopped this jungle justice which is against the law.”

Boko Haram leaders have been killed as Nigerian Air Force jets bombards Alafa Yagayaga on the fringes of the Sambisa forest in Borno State.

The Nigerian Air Force says it has neutralised some key Boko Haram terrorist leaders at Alafa Yagayaga on the fringes of the Sambisa Forest in Borno State.

NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, who made this known in a statement on Monday in Abuja, said the operation was conducted on Saturday.

Daramola explained that this was achieved on February 8 when fighter jets dispatched by the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole obliterated a compound in the settlement where the leaders had assembled for a meeting.

“The airstrike was executed on the heels of credible intelligence reports indicating that the BHT leaders had converged at the target compound for a meeting over the weekend.

“Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions, which confirmed the meeting venue, also observed several BHTs in and around other buildings in the vicinity of the compound.

“Bombs from the detailed attack aircraft scored accurate hits on the target leading to the obliteration of the compound and surrounding structures as well as the neutralisation of their BHT occupants,” he said.

Daramola said NAF, operating in concert with surface forces, would sustain its air campaign to shape the battlespace in the North East for the effective conduct of further ground and air operations.
