I had applied for an undergraduate canadian study visa but was denied twice. The first reason was with regards to my sponsors business registration documents that I didn't submit and the 2nd refusal was "Purpose of Visit". This was in 2014/2015.

I recently reapplied for admission in same university and also paid school fees in full. For now, my sister who stood as my sponsor in my previous refused applications, do not have the financial capacity to stand as my sponsor for this application but I have able church members who are able to stand as my sponsor and co-sponsor..... I really need to know if this will work please can I get thoughts on tips to help my reapplication? Thanks

Its better the business is registered but if its not, then you have a great deal of explanation to do in ur sop. U can add ur complimentary card, but u need more convincing proofs. U know say people no dey easily trust Nigerians.

1. how do l tackle my previous reasons of denial Purpose of visit, close ties to country of residence and Canada, Personal Financial situation and assets, travel history?
2. Explain to the visa officer why l am self employed?
3. Convince the visa officer that l don't intend to stay back at my uncle's house in Toronto?

1. Did u include your land receipts and deed to your previous application? If u didnt then you should include that.
2. Do you have a registered business name if yes, include copies of you cac registration cert n business statement of accounts. And also explain how you operate your business in your sop
3. You can include in your sop any plans you have for coming back to naija and practising what you learnt in Canada n u can as well state Wat you intend doing with the land you bought. and if possible you can prove u will come back to continue with your business if its related with your course.

Please how true is it that someone above 30 applying for study visa, Msc precisely would most likely get rejected?

I have applied to the school already and will be getting a feedback by february. I am 31, married and expecting a baby january, I work with a bank in Nigeria. I am going for an Msc program. But Since someone told me an agent told her that anyone above 30years of age going via student route will get rejected by CIC I've been feeling discouraged.

Please I need advice guys.

On what basis did the agent conclude on that?

That's too far fetched, all that is needed is show what you have being doing since you graduated and to be on the safe side make sure its (what you have being engaged in) related to what you want to study in Canada

..accept scanned doc..no gre no toefl esp for msc computer sc n IT...but just do 1exam for embasy sake..some mba courses requires gmat though

Its just a year post grad course and I was considering having them pay the total tuition fee of 14k and upkeep of 10k into my account. I used their statement in my first application but it didn't fly. meanwhile, the sponsorship letter states that my mom has been their member for over 15 years and they will be sponsoring on her behalf.

Oga since they can give u all d money you need over there cash, collect it and claim u ar self sponsor, thats if ur current job is worth it.And make sure u pay ur full tuition

Please I am just thinking, is there a way one can get a refund of upfront tuition fee paid, if TRV is not given eventually. The school is in support of upfront payment but I fell reluctant to ask them if refund might be given, make them no think say I like money too much

Why won't dey refund, when they are not high. But u have to prove u were denied visa n some schs usually deduct something, a processing fee or so

My husband got an admission for his PGD at Seneca colledge for January 2016.We both plan to go together so I would apply for a work permit. We both are Company owners in Nigeria and we are federal goverment contractors but due to the delay in payment dis year as a result of new government, our accounts hasn't been as fantastic as it used to. But we suggest now that we use his sister outside the country as a part sponsor but his sister would stand as his mum. So do we need to do another birth certificate that will show his sister's name as his mum cuz she has it in all her record in the UK where she lives that my husband is her son that she had in secondary sch. Pls advise cuz I'm scared of lying wen it comes to things like dis. We both have all other documents such as landed properties e.t.c.

You don't have to claim ur husband sister is his mum now! Someone's sister can be his or her sponsor just consider d age and other factors!

Contact ur school and explain to them.
They might allow u to resume a week or two weeks late, or they will ask u to defer. call dem for easier n faster info

Hmmmmmmmmmmm this is a tricky one, when dealing wt cic its best u come out clean and avoid complications. Anyway, i think you should just go ahead and exempt the MBA n back ur app wt prayer.
