Ok so I'm gonna say something at this point .

Someone mentioned "learn programming " and I can see the responses he got ... Forget HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT e.t.c ...forget all that crypto, Forex , digital marketing ....

But il say this yes Tech is your surest way of leaving poverty in the next 3 months .

But not as people say it .. (don't do web development or all that frontend and backend shit)

If I were to give one solid advice as my Indian colleagues are doing il say this :

Don't learn programming

Instead learn a CloudNative tool like KUBERNETES
But first you learn Linux, virtualization, Networking , Containerization , then Kubernetes,

Now listen , you start contributing to OPEN SOURCE via GitHub every fucking day ..

Then pick up Technical Writing on these same things ... Join the tech community, we are not loud , but see people get doings like mad

If you do all these and in 4 months you are making at least $700-$1000 dollars Monthly , by December 2023.

See all those people writing off programming up there , are because they only know Web development , frontend , backend people , and that whole HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT nonsense is crowded and saturated ...

I dare anyone here to show me any KUBERNETES ENGINEEER , or Kubernetes enthusiast for the last 4 months who isn't making at least 500 dollars Monthly

Send me an email

Il drop you a Mentorship Group link

Hello Nlers,

www.cloudikeme.com
To start ur free course on this !

Well if there is one thing ive noticed its that everyone seems to talk or write off Tech as a solution to poverty and a good way to make money online .

Well i cant blame those of you who feel that way, cos truth is the term " programming" or "web development " has been abused so much in Africa.

Now i love statistics , just in the last 1 year alone , 1.8 million Indians from the slums joined github ( an opensource tech platform for new and experienced Techies to collaborate).

Why?

Well cos they know and get useful current information on how and why Tech still remains the best way to leave the trenches.

Forget HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT noise everywhere .
Its saturated and thus feels as if The whole tech thjng is just a lie.

I want you to move your mentality from "Job hunting " to " Impact Making" ..... and also from "crowd mentality" to " taking the road less travelled ".

Now ive created a course and fine tuning it to mentor only 50 Nigerians / Africans , from Zero to CloudNative Engineering / Kubernetes .

See nothing is assured right? But i can assure you that you would be making atleast $500 monthly in a few months during and after this course.

I attend various programs and events and wish i saw more africans in this space ...

Look at the apps you use, they all run on something called " Container technology" ...And thats where you come in with your knowledge in Kubernetes.

After this course, you can also work as a Devops Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Kubernetes Engineer, Platform Engineer, OpenSource Engineer , Technical Writer , e.t.c

I would be spelling out how to make money in a clear actionable manner as a main topic in the course.

There is a large Gap in diversity and inclusion on the global stage , and trust me as an African Man or Woman ( ladies are even more favoured in this path) , you have an opportunity to grow and move from your current level to a better level in a short time .

If i were to start afresh on this tech journey, God knows this is how i would have started and i wish i had somebody to hold my hands from day 1 like this ...

If you would like to join the waitlist for this mentorship program : shoot me an email with the keywords : Kubernetes Nigeria Mentorship

There would be a two-weeks free access for those on the waitlist and then you can make up your mind if its worth it .

Il respond with a link to our telegram group ( oh be ready to learn to use slack too " )

visit www.cloudikeme.com to start your course for free

DevOps encompasses all in one
But I would say avoid ending up in the endless loop of learning ....

And u need to use the right resources and roadmap ....

KushLyon:

Big boss, please which do you think will be better to learn: cloud engineering, devops or cloudnative? Or any one of them will do?
Career / Re: What Valuable Online Skill Can A 23 Year Old Learn Now? by EmperorVamo: 12:41pm On Aug 28, 2023
Lol

All il tell you is I won't come here and start doing any stupid comparison of d**k sizes with you ....

If from all I said you still asked this then I don't know what to say to you.

gtassure:

This question here is, have you made any money yourself. Tell us how much you make from KUBERNETES in the last 5months!
Career / Re: What Valuable Online Skill Can A 23 Year Old Learn Now? by EmperorVamo: 6:35am On Aug 28, 2023
And yes it's a get rich quick scheme at this point
That's why 1.8million newbie Indians last year alone joined the opensource cloud native community .....

Making it through gossip or Moneymaking content Blogging and SEO is in the past .... It was once oil

Now ? Cloud is the big deal , but do people share information in Nigeria no

Do most people even know ? No

Again I made good money from blogging in the past , now I do tech Blogging and Documentation

I no wan know the money you dey make you no fit make money pass me for blogging as a tech blogger and technical writer that I am now ...

Rest.

Be true and honest with yourself have you read the Google webmaster guidelines since you're a blogger and it does not work?

Programming work for you stick with it don't carry your preserved limitations for newbies who know nothing.

I consider blogging as the easiest way out of the trenches.

That's life we can all be right.

Blogging works for me but not gossip blogs
When did you start blogging? Consider how saturated it is now and besides if he doesn't niche down properly now , nothing for you in the blogging world.

So again I say blogging will be a longer route.
