reidkrugger:There's no perfect design. Design criticism is a nature in Architecture. I wonder what sort of designer takes offense when his work is questioned. Architecture is about making people see reasons on why you did what you did, not feeling tthreatened |
Aesthetically your designis a beauty to behold. Great external outlook. However like most people have commented, and I guess you do agree with them that it's definitely not an African friendly design. Let me just spot one flaw in your design. Look @ your sit out on the first floor in picture 1, tell me why this house will not be flooded if it rains heavily? The door opening to the sit out should be on a higher platform than the sit out floor. Cheers |
Will Arsenal get fourth?

Does Podolski care more about social media than playing football?

Why don't they shoot more often?

Who bought Park and why? What is behind all the injuries? What happened to Chamakh? Who said no to re-signing Fabregas? Why was RvP sold to Man Utd? What was Kroenke paid £3m for? Why don't the lids fit on the tea cups at the emirates? |
Why is Ozil played out of position?

Arsenal fans are going through a difficult time at the minute, Arsene Wenger's men are in a dismal run of form and yesterday's 2-2 draw with Hull compounded the Frenchman's worst ever start to a Premier League campaign. Arsenal have only won two of their last nine outings, beating Aston Villa in the league and cruising to a 4-1 victory against a very poor Galatasaray side. The 'Wenger Out' crew led by their Twitter leader Piers Morgan will be out in force again now they've got some fresh ammunition to fire at the Gunners boss. Danny Welbeck's goal snatched a point from the jaws of defeat against Steve Bruce's Hull City with his injury time equaliser yesterday, a result that opens the same old questions for Arsenal fans:

Seriously I don't get it why beauty fades when most people (celebs especially) hit fame |

All I see is battle of the sexes. Everybody is shifting responsibilities in such a way that we've neglected our roles and not in anyway ready to cover up for the other person. We're living in a double standard society. |

Yeah I've had my fair share of being wooed by a girl. Imaobong (real name) was my classmate from JS1, but I don't remember having an eye contact with her not to talk of talking to her all through the years till our SS3. I was too shy to talk to my sister, not to talk of a girl in school. I liked her, but the only effort I made to have her as my girlfriend was my SILENT WISHES. She was the prettiest in school, most sought after by students and some teachers. Long story cut short. I was good in sports and academics, one of those may have caught her fancy. She came up to me one day in school and said she had a message for for me from someone (another girl in school). I was never popular among the girls in school. This was strange. She said she'll tell me about it in one of my friends house (off camp hostel) I usually visited. - her house was a stone throw from there. I shyly smiled over it, It was the closest I had gotten to a beautiful girl in years. I went to my friends house that evening, it was an after school routine for me. She was there already. Lucky me we had a full house, i sure wasn't going to be in the centre of things. I wasn't really keen to hear the message Imaobong had for me. The thought of having a message from a girl alone was satisfactory to me. I talked and had fun with my friends, Imaobong was starring at me all evening. Soon after my friends left the room one after the other without making it obvious. She had planned it all out. Before I knew it I was all alone in the room with the prettiest girl on campus, my WISHES had come true, but my shyness was begging for help. Imaobong told me there was no message from anybody. That she just needed a time to talk to me. She went on to tell me how much she admires me., bla bla bla and bla bla bla. She said all the nicest things ears can hear. Instantly my shyness faded out. Are you asking what my response was? I can't really remember, I was practically nodding to everything she said but we kissed and fondled each other at the end. A relationship had started. |
Is this thread in support of prostitution? @OP are you saying there's nothing a lady can offer aside from sex? Corporate prostitution |
If this stunt will guarantee a successful marriage. Then i give them my blessing. |
I have read Articles on nairaland. Not one, not two. But this Article stands out. I was so captivated by the article that I felt bad it had to end. BRAVO @Op Spent Just 1 month in Abuja (Maitama) and I can relate to many things the poster highlighted. People don't talk in millions in Abj, Billions do the talking. |
