Wow So what you people are saying is that each time I comment in a nairaland thread, money is being Deposited into Seun's account? So all these people that keep shouting 'Front page things, first to comment' are also FIRST TO DEPOSIT. |
OP I don't see this issue as who's right or wrong to sit where. For me think it's a matter of who was there first. Going by your story your sister is suppose to sit there. It's so overzealous of your girlfriend to ask your sister to go to the back. Even if she were to be your wife. That's an Insult on your sister. |
Fellonigerians: You also are not an authority in Economics and development... Anyway, your comments still show that you obviously do not understand my comment, therefore i give up on you... Have a nice day...I didn't make a theory, When I said road construction is an Economic development indicator, that can be found in your Elementary Economics Textbooks. So the Emphasis above (bolded) doesn't apply to me. Coming to this thread to say only underdeveloped countries celebrate road construction is a bald statement/theory devoid of academic reference, judging that you're just a lay man in the subject matter. Just a major distraction to the thread. |
So going out of your way to be nice to a lady nowadays is wrong...? Lesson learnt. Tomorrow if I refuse to let a lady take my spot on the queue or open the car door for her, hope you people won't say I'm inconsiderate and unromantic. A confused society, Double standard |
Fellonigerians: Therefore, you actually agree with me. I did not say that people should not build or celebrate roads, what I said is that if we are celebrating it, then we are an underdeveloped country. Maybe you just didnt know you were agreeing with me. Next time i will use words that are simpler to make my point easier for you to understand. My comment is a sharp contrast to yours and I wonder where you got the endorsement idea from. You aren't an authority in Economics and development as a subject so it's just an irrational statement to say Nigeria is an underdeveloped country. Road construction is an indicator of development and it should be applauded. |
zheroes: @op, i seem to understand you very clearly. but the truth is so many people will not see the sense of what ur saying.A seductive dance step to Mr. A may not be seductive to Mr. B, it's an individual assessment and it varies. There's no biblical dance steps prescription. To me as long as the intent is right, it's not a bad dance step |
phemmyflexxy: @op, pple dont dance to d message of the music being played..... they dance only to the beats.... so as long as there is no gospel beats, no gospel dance. You're wrong and right. As much as you can dance to the beats, but in christen dom the content of the song is paramount, when the content of the song and the beat are in harmony, it's gives one the rhythm to express oneself by dancing. |
sexyseun: OP is 100% right, some dance steps are not to be allowed in the house of GOD. Imagine a lady twearking her Big butts and calling that dance? or a Guy doing the Kokomaster Longtin step(using his hands to demonstrate how big his d.ick is) some dance steps are "errotic" and should not be allowed in the house of GOD.Going by your comment. Any cloth you can't wear to church because it's deemed indecent, shouldn't be worn to anywhere else. Christianity doesn't end within the four corners of a church building. Secondly, I don't think there's any dance step that an Average girl will dance that won't involve Breast/Bombom movement. I may be wrong.. |
Fellonigerians: Only in UNDERdeveloped countries do people celebrate road constructions... What we need to be celebrating are industries, innovation in technologies, excellence by citizens, life changing policies, etc...Obviously you missed your elementary Geography and Economics classes. Are you underestimating the importance of ROADS to the economic/infrastructural development of a region? Need I remind you that primarily there's no place, country or region said to be developed without GOOD ROAD NETWORK. Of what good is an Industry sited in BUSH? Good Road network pave the way for more development. Akwa Ibom is developing and the process is gradual. You shouldn't let your focus on your destination rob you of great moments along the journey. Learn to celebrate your little successes. Your remark is as good as telling us that a Primary school pupil shouldn't celebrateI his/her graduation, because he/she isn't yet a PhD holder. |
*Washes hands with sanitizer* My main reason of viewing this thread was to see the Houses. My disappointment can't be expressed. Without a doubt those houses are worth as fortune, but devoid of Class and Taste. I can handpick two Average Civil servants whose houses Commands more visual interest. |
cjrane: Nnaa,Don't mind him, he is comparing a Sunset Boulevard designed/built even before the 1950s to a Boulevard commissioned in August 2014. Not realising that those trees that beautify the scenery didn't grow overnight.. The Uyo Boulevard in the picture will get more beautiful with time..., as the trees and shrubs are yet to blossom. |
ogtavia: Leave them abeg, all dis people putting the cart before the horse,d want to look developed, dnt forget beside rivers state,Akwa Ibom has one of the highest allocation, dnt forget its part of NDDC,Oil derivative,d money is there....d day our leaders put developmental strategies in place rather than building roads and such likes,is d day our industrialization is fast tracked....we shouldn't get carried away, yes he has built a boulevard or whatever, what is d purpose,is there a massive influxx of people in d state because of increased development trade,I knw some people will say, ehnn, must everything be purpose built,I am an architect by profession,I belong to the functionalist school of thought,I dnt like to be rigid as well, yet I insist,d developed nation where he "copied" dis boulevard idea from didn't just clear bush and decide to put one boulevard, circumstances and situations, which are ripple effects of strategic and vibrant developmental strides led to d development of such idea..its a pity today, all we read in our books are mostly western ideas, which are recorded events of life events, yet we still pursue them,I am nt saying we are wrong, but we must have the Nigerian experience,if you build a boulevard from Mile 2 or Ikorodu all d way to say yaba,or somewhere from apapa to oshodi,(I no too sabi places for lagos like dt,at least u get d picture),then it will a purpose built boulevard solving real life problems, then we can call it developments,I av nothing against Akpabio,I av listened to d man speak on TV and he seems to be a knowledgeable man, yet, boulevard no mean say, everybody wey dey Akwa Ibom dey smile...my two pence..I don't know how well you know Uyo and the location of the Boulevard. I expected you to criticise the Boulevard illustrating your facts based on the Project location. You seem not to know Uyo well enough. The Boulevard, aside from its Aesthetics (which is a vital part of every infrastructural development) is not designed to serve as an Amusement park. That Boulevard located along Abak Rd (Olusegun Obasanjo way) was primary designed to ease influx and outflow of traffic from the IBOM OLYMPIC STADIUM under construction. It's also to decentralised traffic from the city centre. It's strategically located such that someone going to the stadium from Abak, Oron, Itu, Ikot ekpene etc doesn't have to pass through the city centre. If that's not a PURPOSEFUL DEVELOPMENT that solves problem, then i guess you're not talking about the Boulevard in Uyo. I'm an Architect too, if I must mention |
I haven't noticed the slow. It's insignificant if at all its true. |
Hello H7 folks and others. Please I want to know. Can the Recovery tool be uninstalled or move to Sdcard after flashing the recovery img and backing up with Cwm? |

That a bomb was Found near a Mosque doesn't mean the Mosque was the target. For all I know, the bomb could have been INCUBATED/PRESERVED in the Mosque and discovered during shifting. To validate facts. BOKO HARAM as we know to a large extent are Muslims and Mosques are barely secured yet no Mosque have been bombed in this country. The SSS or whichever agency handling this case should start their investigations from the Mosque and it's environs. |
