What roof materials are some people taking about? Is it shingles? Slate tiles? Step tiles? Green factor? Glazed? There are all used in Nigerian buildings.
Buildings basically reflects peoples' way of life, its all boil down to what you want. Garages, gardens and chimneys are all seen in most houses in nigeria, though chimney will on be for aesthetic purpose and i dont think Plateau state is cold enough to require it.
Garages on the other hand are not in vogue in Nigeria, but there are there.
Basicall buildings are base on many considerations like:
Cost implication, climatic requirement, user's requirement, building codes, location, availability of building materials, durabilty, fire resistance, cost of mentainance etc.
You are free to build anything anywhere as long has u can afford it and its not against the building codes and local authority.
I speak as an architect.

I see nothing bad in what Abati has written. Its just a response to an allegation, which is expected and done everywhere 'democracy' is practised.

Its amazing how much u know about football, yet u claim to hate it. Football is a game, and people do make a career out of it, like any other game its entertaining, informative and educative. Its a social forum, affords u the avenue to get to meet people, etc. The importance/impact of football can not be over emphasized... People pay to be entertained, so i see no big deal in paying to watch matches @ viewing centre.

Crushing on my class teacher? Lol thats an understatement. In my little world back then, i had a crush with just about any body(except my immediate family), from my cute pretty cousins, to my sister's female classmate, to my cute teachers to celebrities is saw in movies. Many occassions i fantasized dating those pretty ladies that used to appear on the front cover of HINT magazines... I will kiss them from their pictures etc...

Its not really the manner of approach or appearance, luck also counts. To me its just the Girls level of maturity, exposure and most importantly her mood. DID i hear someone say appearance? Are fraudsters, players, rapist ugly? Its not the looks.
Am a guy but i must say is not easy being a girl for one day and a pretty one @ that. Tha advances are just to much, and its gets frustrating @times thats why some respond to situation like that with hostile atitude. Like i said its just maturity, some ladies dont just know how to handle such moment or what to say. But i think if a lady doesnt really want to attend to a guy, she should say something like 'sorry, am in a haste', thats sound more polite than looking @ the guy head to toe then sigh off.
