Here's Ramsey Noah speaks a little sense contrary to those idiot keep bringing religion into this to divert attention https://naijagists.com/fulani-herdsmen-killings-massacre-victims-politicians-human-sacrifices/comment-page-1/#comment-670374 |
TheCabal:Okay, what solution do you proffer bcus you have just handed out empty talk>. No offence please. |
BiafranJesus:This type of idot above needs to be force fed with tube. This is type of people we have in authority who are constantly bringing religion into this. I am sure you don't want peace. If you do, you would have reasoned with the way these guys speak (below). But you want no solution by bringing religion into this to divert attention. There was never problem with open grazing. I grew up seeing them everywhere in my childhood. And this crisis happening now means something is wrong somewhere and it is definitely bcus of people like you who want no peace. Blue3k: |
tintingz:why do you always interfere with religion when in fact, you are atheist? His topic is in the context of the discussion |
PVision2020:That's it. You guys want no peace. What's religion has to do with this issue?. See why those pastors lied to you to think this is about religion?. Rather this is about business and entrepreneurship. But crazy people want you to think it is islam versus everyone else. The earlier you think before you do something stupid the better. Pastors and politicians are not telling you the truth. That's why these killings dont stop. They don't want to address the real issue. They want no peace. Ranch, cow grazing is for the benefit of all just like agriculture. Also note that, this kind of hullabalou is not exclusive to Nigeria actually. In the USA, farmers too do have disagreements with govt. Sometimes, it about land like farmers want to expand their business. Sometimes, it is about products qualities. When it comes to expanding their business, since govt controls the land, they try to accommodate them bcus they know it is for the benefits of everyone. Not all state produce food. Like New York for instance, they import from other states like Idaho, California and Phoenix. Had it been lands are in control of families, it would have been difficult for the farmers to maneuver. There should be some sort of proper coordination headed by the govt. Because everyone is doing thier own thing is the reason there is hike in gas and food prices. It is high time many things need to be regulated in Nigeria and not individual or group of people. If ranches are only in the north, cows and ram price will continue to skyrocket due to many obstacles fulani people have to go through all the way from North to transport livestock down south and East. You need to give them credit for that and stop calling them murderers. All these years they serviced everyone in nigeria with this business. Appreciate their efforts for once, buddy. |
As for killings, law enforcement agencies simply need to persecute violators. But bcus they are corrupt themselves is the reason killings thrive. Not necessarily about herd's business. No one has monopoly to kill |
Chuksonyeike:why did Nollywood ask federal and state govt for help with money and to pass a bill against piracy?. Why does govt wants to fund agriculture? |
PVision2020:there is no need to argue. You have already made up your mind to call all of them murderers as if SW/East are free or are not guilty of this too?. It is a waste of time talking to you. Nigerians generally are more rascists than White people. |
EternalTruths:I am a Yoruba man |
Rashduct4luv:You have reading and listening problem ![]() |
Chuksonyeike:Lol, don't you hear calls in recent time by fed to pump money into agriculture?. I understand that sometimes, we tend to be defensive when a new strategy is proposed. But with time we reason to it and work it out. The bad news is you keeping talking about Fulanis should buy land. If they buy land in SW/SE, you should know that they have absolute authority over the land in your own region,. That's why it is the govt that should buy land. You guys are really local. Fulani's proposal is advanced one. It resembles that of western world |
PointZerom:I don't have father's land. And i dont want one. I hate that. That's the problem. This ancestors crap annoys me. What exactly do you people do with the lands except fight and kill yourselves over land and the land remain barren for decades. I have said before that if i have land that is prone to grazing, I will sell it at big profit to the govt for grazing. I remembered a Jamaica co-worker of mine 11yrs ago said to me that Africa has land but are not useful. What is the use of the land when they serve no purpose?. Sell the land to federal govt as it is done in advanced countries and get huge payout and in return, you relinquish the deed of the land. If govt wants to resell, lease, build institutions or for ranches, memorials, parks, playground, that is easy. It can be privatized as well. This same applies to lands in the North and East. But all these my father land, my grandpa land, this land, that land are just useless and people kill themselves over selfishness. Yoruba movies perfectly portray this, isn't?. This is why most lands in SW are not developed bcus family kills themselves over it. |
IslamicRebel01: Ganiyat72:you guys want no peace at all. You make no sense. Having ranch reserves is modern way. Fulanis are proposing modernity or modern dimension to cow rearing. And you are the same people who condemn fulani should you see them rear cows in the streets. Talk about hypocrisy. |
FriendNG:I told the other guy that it is not. |
Rashduct4luv: you just woke up?. Didn't I answer that before?. The verse in sura saff rebuked everything you posted. By rational reason, it was Isa ibn mary'am(as) who first called him (saw) that base on that ayah. But by default, it was inspiration to him (as) by Allah through their relationship in spiritual realm due to another Hadith where the prophet (saw) alleged that Isa is closed to him. But doesn't rubbish the fact that it was Isa(as) who called him by the name, Ahmad |
LadunaI:You need to watch Sheikh Imran Hosein's dynamic interpretation of this incident in his lecture yrs ago. Quran is not static at all. It continues to function for the past, present and future. The sheikh connected the dots when he said Nabi Ibrahim(as)'s acceptance of the sacrifice was indication of slaughter of the Arab in akhir zaman. Now, it may sound absurd the way i briefed it here. It is always best to watch the whole lecture. I am sure it is still on Youtube Not only did i watch the lecture, i actually read his book 7 yrs ago titled "Jerusalem in the Quran". I think that's where he talked further about it. |
LadunaI:Lol ![]() |
kattytamer:So what difference does it make if fulanis buy lands or if govt buys lands?. You once said kattytamer:If they buy lands they own it permanently. That's why I said that for fulani to buy the land is worse case scenario. It should be govt. Now you claim that plan that I proposed won't work. Why then you people so much about Western and modern when you can copy them on everything but you cant emulate on this?. See double standards. Fulanis' proposal makes sense. Your plan will inflate cost of cows especially during festivals like ileya bcus Yoruba for instance will not stablize price. You can see that even with ordinary rental property. And also herdsmen have to deal with landowner family issues. You know what that means, don't you?. And remember, if govt buys land it only means that you as a yoruba man may also buy lands permanently in the North or East vis a vis if for instance you decide to relocate. We need to move past ancestors stuff. And I don't even see the so called favoritism being on one aside. Every politician is guilty of that including citizens. It is all politics. All that can be desolved if law can be upheld to punish descrimination, favoritism, nepotism and all that. |
ladkud:wa'iyakum. Making sure it is two transactions? |
All participants satisfied. No more outstanding credit. Thanks brothers for your time. JazalaAllahu khayran |
iamgenius:what now |
kattytamer:Understood but was this plan agreed to, if so where is your evidence please?. Besides, i personally won't even agree with this. This leads to inflation. Herd business is something benefited by the entire country, and when it comes to buying their livestock you people know very well how to negotiate the price but you refused to compromise yours. Govt better off buying the land than dealing with family land owners where everyone in the family claims right to collect rent on the ranches. It is like you have 3 bedroom apartment and you rent rooms to 3 different people. Why not rent the apartment to one person or one family?. Herdsmen have to deal with different families who don't even agree within themselves. That's too much. We know how family property matters can be very complicated. Advance way is to let the govt buy the land and herdsmen pay tax to the govt. And it is cheaper and in turn affordable for the consumers to buy cows at low rate. But your approach is the evidence of inflation during ileya or any festival. Herdsmen approach is modem style just like Sardauna planned. That's exactly the way it is done in the West. Since SW and SE portray themselves as educated people,, why not go by Sardauna's plan?. Besides are there already reserved rances in the SW/SE?. My other question is, what's Islam and Muslims have to do with this. This is what CAN and many are promoting instead of addressing the issue. There are millions of northerners doing all kinds of businesses peacefully in the south and elsewhere without causing unnecessary problems, why is the fulanis case different?[thank God you dial the truth for once. Herd's business is bigger and the entire country benefit from it. It is equivalent to chain markets in the US. Govt control chain supermarkets even if it is owned privately.I don't think so. It is obvious they are acting on whatever agreement reached. But I don't agree with killings. That's absurd. Let me tell you that the easiest way is for the land owners to sell the land to the govt so that herd's people don't have to deal with families and inflation. There is no regulation there but with govt there will be. #myopinion |
ladkud:lol. Laelae. I have everything planned. And everything is executed as planned. Today is yours ![]() I stick to my word |
kattytamer:This is easier said than done. This is theory. What did they do practically to actualize the theory?. We know nigerian politicians only talk talk talk and talk with no action. Because of their inaction is the reason for these incessant killings. Agree? They agreed to ban open grazing bcus it makes sense as Sadarna's planned. But another time they speak from other side of their mouth. What's their plan about ranches in the country? |
MissJoy29:Annapolis |
ChiefAzubuike:sad ![]() |
PearlStreet:Problem is, nigerians don't know their rights. The only thing they are smart about is talk trash on internet. Imagine 20k nigerians flooded referee's webpage and insulted his mother and his generation bcus nigeria lost to argentina?. They shame themselves everywhere. Lagos state govt, federal govt need to be sued serious. And all those son of a bitches who take bribes... the so called frsc, dss, sars and police or whatever they are should be tackled AND SUED BY CITIZENS. i AM REALLY PAINED RIGHT NOW seeing this horrible pictures and video of people burning. Some families don't even know they have lost their loved ones. To hell with nigerian politicians and foolish citizens who are hell bent on corruption. And just heard some ppl talking about pastor Adeboye said dont go out on june 28 bla bla bla. Really, those pastors need to be fined for trash prophecies at election, new yr and every time they open thier mouth at thier podium. Seems to me they are up to something |
kattytamer:you don't understand. There are ranches in the USA. Some are private owners. some are govt owned. Whether private or not govt still oversees private land to make sure it conforms with federal, state and local laws. Herd's business is not exclusive to fulani people. Other tribes can do it as well but fulanis are known for this business just like other people. All Nigerians benefits from fulani business because at least we buy cows for ileya and other things. If there are ranches in the South West and East, this will also lower cost of buying rams and cows from North. It is clear to me now the way you talk that you guys aren't ready to compromise anything. If I have land that is prone to govt reserve for ranch or grazing, wallahi, I will sell it at higher price to the govt. It is a win win situation for me. This idea of "this is my ancestors' land, this is my great great grandpa land" should ditched. The same applies to the north. This is old method we need to do away with. Most of these lands are just there functionless. And yet you still have problems with omo onile after buying land. In some places, you still don't own the land in Yorubaland even though you paid for it bcus the so called ómó onile still claim ownership many yrs later. Instead of this nonsense, why not sell the land to the govt and get over family stuff?. Only in certain places should families permanently own land. This is how it should be. This is 21century. Sardauna's plan was correct and modern. If you people don't compromise now, I'm afraid this killing will continue. And it is even worse if fulani buy lands permanently in the SouthEast and South West. They simply will claim the deed forever. It is better to have in control of govt. |
Mortiple:I know this news really pained you, kpele brother ![]() |
Rashduct4luv:Fatwa you quoted doesn't even addressed the point. Hadith you quoted doesn't either. Quran in sura saff overrides them. It reads: "Remember when Jesus said his name would be Ahmad.." End quote |
maasoap:Wallahi you really understood my point. The guy doesn't understand. Yet they claim fulani and Hausa are uneducated. Sardauna's plan was a modem plan. It is even worst if herdsmen are to buy the land. That doesn't make sense. Land should be under the government. |
kattytamer:I don't even understand what you said. Seems you don't understand my message. Please quote my post where I said fulani should get the land for free. Quote me please That's aside. Do you agree with Sardauna grazing plan?. His plan is the way to go else, these killings here and there is not gonna stop. Go and read my posts again here. https://www.nairaland.com/1794405/islam-muslims-side-talk-station/145#down Yoruba and igbo people usually portray themselves as "educated people". In that case they should have agreed with ranch proposal to avoid having cows roam the streets. Sardauna's plan conformed with modern plan like in Texas. I understand ancestory land story but for how long we gonna keep doing that?. I hate to type every thing again. Please read that link and digest my posts to understand my point. I never said they should give the land for free to the government. The same applies to land in the North. |
